You like bagels? You like these bagels. They got bagels here. You will like them. What do you want me to say? There not expensive. They make them fresh, right on site. I think they will make you a sandwich if you want, but I like bagels so that's why I went into this bagel place. I buy bagels here. All the time.

Clearly I made a horrible choice in ordering the breakfast bagel and I should have just gotten bagels. The breakfast sandwich was horrible. So next week, I will go back and only get bagels.

I enjoy the consistency of their bagels. Firm, crunchy outside and soft but dense inside. One bagel is enough! I liked how the owner has talked with me each time, giving me recommendations and discussing items I haven't tried yet. You can tell he cares.

First off won't be returning. Paneras bagels are twice the size and so much better than this place. Ordered 7 for $6, and was told when cashing out that the cheddar bagels "usually" aren't part of the 7 for 6 but they were going to do it for is this time. That's when I pointed out on their menu the incorrect pricing and they said yea I know, we usually don't honor it but we will... Which my reply was why don't you just get up there and change your sign instead of pretending like you're doing is a favor. Customer service was much less than you would expect for a small business. Will stick to the friendly people at panera and their huge delicious bagels.

Detroit Bagel gave me the largest scare the other day - I drove up and parked and walked up..............holy bagels Batman, it's gone!!! A quick smart phone search and I discover that they moved south on Middlebelt about 1/2 mile. Whew. Detroit Bagel does bagels the way that they are supposed to be. Boiled, then baked. Not too small, not too big. Crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle. I've had their bagel sandwiches in the past - nice, fresh bagel, piled high with corned beef. Does life get better? Maybe - with a salt stick. I grew up on Detroit Bagel (when they were on 7 MIle near Evergreen in Detroit) and as kids, we would walk up on Saturday late afternoon and evening for a dozen or more. Forget Einstein, Timmys, and Panera. These are real bagels. And thanks for the free onion bagel. It was very yummy!! p.s. Coffee is just coffee - if you want fancy good coffee don't expect it here. Go to a coffee place and eat a mediocre bagel. Better yet, get your bagel here and then get your fancy coffee elsewhere...

Fresh, warm new york style bagels...We got blueberry and asiago and were happy campers. I am a bit of a cheese freak so I would love more asiago but other than that i will still order the asiago again : P

Legitimately surprised how good these bagels were. Definitely smaller than Normal but fantastic. The homemade cream cheese is the best part. Get the onion and garlic. It'll change your life.

The bagels are great. If you are looking for authentic bagels like Egg, Onion, Pumpernickle, Everything, Plain, and Raisen. Not the Panera or Einstein type of bagel new bagel flavors.

Awesome bagels! Fresh,hot,good variety and price. 6am is when they open(best time always hot)The bagels are made the right way crusty on the outside chewy on the inside,pretty sure boil,bake method?,delicious! Recommend detroit bagel to all that love a great bagel you won't be disappointed

Bagels, sure. But wait just a minute, sparky. They've got sandwiches too. They make a corned beef/pastrami sandwich (get the slaw added, too) that will knock you into next week. Incredible, just incredible. If you don't drive there NOW, I cannot help you.

While I live just three miles from Detroit Bagel, for eight years a couple of times a month I've driven all the way to New York Bagel in Ferndale. But today we decided to risk it and try our local bagel shop. Why oh why have we not tried these before today! Their bagels are delish. Boiled, the way they should be. So glad I stepped out of my comfort zone. :)

Best bagels ever! They are quick, super friendly, good prices, and have s hometown feel. My friend was in there and forgot her wallet, they told her just pay next time. Love it! The bagels are made every morning and I love the selection. I am mad they moved, though, they are closer and it makes me want to stop way more often than I should! The only downfall would be the coffee. I still have to make a trip just passed the fire station to get a good cup in the morning. But they are Detroit Bagel, after all, not Detroit Coffee. I can deal with it.
