Good experience, great bread, just like everyone said. Burger was good, ribs were delicious and the service was outstanding. We arrived a little later than the rest of the group, and our server folded us in the mix without missing a beat. Good view of all the TV's if your a sports fan. Bathrooms very clean and modern. Booth are big and roomy. We'll go back again.

Well we went back tonight, the waitress was great, kept on top of what we needed. The seafood ravioli was awesome. My hubby had a BBQ special with ribs, chicken and sausage and said it was good also filled him up.

Average food, regular bar/restaurant atmosphere, a little too overpriced for the offerings. Breadsticks are great!

I would like to give them a higher review, but there are some flaws. The food was good, my burger was a little over charred (burnt), my fiancé's mac n chees was very good but the chicken was not. Very very good breadsticks!!! Well kept, good service, not too expensive and we will go again. I hope to have a slightly better main dish experience. Give them a try, I think they are a great restraint that ma have had an off night.

First time at E G Nicks and it will be the last. We drove by and turned around because the marquee stated it had craft beers. Naturally we thought "on tap". Not the case, all the craft beers were in bottles. Strike one. Next we ordered from the specials menu. The item we wanted, they were out. So we ordered the calamari instead. Big mistake, it was swimming in pepperconis, over powering the taste of everything. The bartender kindly took the item off our bill. The rest of our meal was medicore at best, gravy from a can, the chicken so dry it was stringy, over cooked to almost burnt puff pastry, string beans straight from a can. What a dismal way to spend $50.00. I'd rather eat in a dive with good food then a pretty restaurant that serves this fare. I'm giving the rating a 2 star as opposed to a 1 just because the staff and atmosphere were pleasant and the bread sticks were really good.

Time to update the menu- menu is very outdated. Nothing exciting For over 6 months on their website it doesn't have a menu and says new menu coming soon... Where is it? I don't know how they stay open honestly it is never busy. Waitresses are very catty and always seem to be standing around gossiping. Soup "specials" are always the same, minestrone. Time for an update PLEASE.

Decent place, a bit pricey for what they serve. We generally stick to the salads I believe them to be the best in the area. Service has varied from time to time but overall has been decent.

E.G. Nicks is one of my wifes and I's favorite restaurants to go to eat. As others have stated their breadsticks are great, hot from the oven with some really good butter. We both love their black tie pasta, quesadilla appetizer. Although, I usually eat the full meal, they give you hearty enough portions that a lot of people will end up taking home for leftovers. Can't forget there mouth watering cheese cake and hot fudge ice-cream. If you are coming through Lapeer, stop by E.G. Nicks - they have something for every taste.

A nice solid place for a decent meal with very good service. Limited menu and a little pricey for what they offer. The Greek Salad and the pizza are winners.

Nice place to eat. I don't know about it being a Greek restaurant and such, as it's more of your typical American restaurant. But either way the food is good, nice atmosphere, and good customer service.

E G Nick's is amazing. It's the finest restaurant in good ol' Lapeer. The service is wonderful. They're always cheerful, and won't hate you if you ask them 1,000 things to do. This is one place I would tip high, because they deserve it. Now on to the good stuff. They're bread stick are superb. The Greek salad is always a must there. Always. It's worth the dollar to upgrade if feta is your thing. Pasta dishes are amazing. And I love the 8 dollar burger special going on. For 8 bucks you get to choose from a handful of unusual burgers, coleslaw, fries and your drink for 8 dollars!! I like the Greek and pretzel myself. Steaks are always good too. They serve Pepsi products, which is cool of you're a Dew drinker. Not a lot of places in Lapeer are Pepsi people. There is a nice bar off to the back. Separated by a fireplace that is nice in the winter. But, the bar is out of the way, so the people who are there to get drunk, have their own space, and the people eating dinner won't be bothered by them. Bathrooms are iffy. There are good days and bad days. But the bad days aren't as bad as others. Their sinks are really nifty. I admit I have to go wash my hands in them every time I go there. Curb side is nice. Fast, and they rarely forget things, and the food is not half ass-ed. During dinner time, 5:30 to say 8. They can get packed. If you go around 4:30-5:00 ish the place empty. If you go around dinner time, be prepare to wait a while, but it is soo worth it!! Music is always current and nice, too.

Food was decent, but nothing to rave about. Definitely not middle eastern or Greek like the yelp category says, but standard American menu.

I totally love E.G. Nicks. Their breadsticks are awesome, their minestrone is awesome, but most of all their baked spaghetti is A.W.E.S.O.M.E. My favorite dish is spaghetti with meatballs, baked under a blanket of mozzarella cheese, and covered with fresh sauteed mushrooms. Ohhhh heaven on earth, plus there's more than enough to take home for dinner tomorrow. Many people also swear by the Black Tie Pasta, and I hear the prime rib is good. The only other dish I've tried is the Lemon Chicken (both on the bone and on skewers) and it was great too...but I still like the spaghetti & meatballs better. Service is reliably good, food is reliably great. It's always crazy crowded on Friday & Saturday nights, but that's because a) it's awesome, and b) it's one of the only "nice" restaurants in town. Get there early or be prepared to wait - it's worth it.

You call this Greek? The only thing on the menu that was Greek was the salad (somewhat) and the gyro. The ravioli was watery, the mushroom soup was salty, the chicken salad was dripping with mayo. The service saved this place. The waitress was awesome. And the lazy Susan in the middle of the table was fun

EG Nick's is a great restaurant. They have a bar in the back too, if you want to catch a game. This is the location that Kirk Gibson used for his 1984 World Series MVP press conference. The food has always been excellent, the service has been above par, the prices are reasonably mid-line, and the atmosphere is quaint. We've never been disappointed here. I suspect that you won't be either. 5 stars for the win!

NEVER get take out from this place!!! To not seem super harsh, the food is good. The greek salad with chicken and pastas are tasty and once you get the right food is a good experience. BUT...I have ordered take out from here probably 10 times for some of my customers (everyone loves the bread sticks, which are buttery and good). My beef has more to do with the service. I would say 5 times out of 10 my order has been wrong or is missing something I ordered. They also charged me a dollar per fork/spoon/napkin utensil pack without telling me. The hostess usually puts the food together and never checks the order when they bring it out to you. And then they expect a tip. Ridiculous!! A couple times I even took food out of the bags to check if the order was right and they looked at me like I was crazy....and surprise surprise...something was missing!!! I will not get take out from here again and probably wont eat in anytime soon.

Like all Lapeer restaurants this place is nothing to write home about, (wait, I think I am doing just that). Grimy silverware, but really nasty bathrooms. Service is the typical Lapeer lackadaisical quality. My big complaint is that we came here with a group with reservations and still was seated in front of the fire exit. My seat was actually against the door. Good luck if there was a fire. I have to guess that they do this quite often.

Do NOT EVER GET TAKE OUT FROM HERE.......EVER! The hostess (order taker) has no idea what's going on. I was given the wrong items and I checked upon pick up, charged for items I never received, never given the respect of talking to a manager. Told "I'm sorry" for the waste of my time and giving them money for items never received. Disgusting to be treated like that! Don't waste your time or money

There are many good things about this place but number one on my list: BREAD STICKS. Wow is all I can say- hot from the oven there is nothing better, in fact I could eat it as an entire meal and be happy. Considering how small a town Lapeer is I was really surprised to find such a wonderful restaurant. The food is all exceptional, ribs, potatoes, chicken, salads- you name it and it's great. While living in town I ate at only two restaurants regularly and this was one of them. Most places the menu is hit or miss but I would guarantee that anything you order will be at the very least darn tasty. There is a bar in it but it is separated from the restaurant section so you don't notice it. They keep the lights low and all the tables and small things like sconces are very minimal and very nice looking. The take out orders are very fast and super convenient- the longest I had to wait was a whole 2 minutes once because they forgot my bread sticks and the waitress noticed when she double checked the order before handing it to me.
