I like this place. I read other reviews, and it sounds like people take offense to the decor and otherwise old-feeling interior. They're right, this is not a modernized, renovated establishment. But the food we all ordered was good, the service was great, and time to receive the food was fast. They knew how to handle kids as well -- our three year old was treated first to crayons, and her food came out first. I've been here before, and I feel the food portions have decreased. But it was still filling and I would happily come back again.

Sadly I used to love this place, the food was okay, service okay, but my issue is the inside is dirty, dingy and it stinks because I really used to love this place. my hope is they will do at least a minor remodel and keep it cleaner.

I have been here often. There are several restaurants in Lapeer that don't get my business because of poor service or poor food quality. I have seldom been disappointed here. Service is great and management is fair.

Great little family restaurant. Love the Brian's burger and they have decent all you can eat fish Friday. Good value and decent staff. I enjoy just about everything from the dinner menu except the canned vegetables. I also do not recommend anything from their breakfast menu, not sure why but they can't grasp it yet. Love the Brian's burger with extra green olives and the olive spread when they have it.

This place is what it is. Very good value for the food you get. Great place for breakfast or anything greasy. Brian's is my place in lapeer to get a quick cheap meal.

I like Brian's and eat breakfast there somewhat regularly. I think their food is good and the service is also good.

Another sub standard breakfast place serving cheap gross food. I asked for my hash browns well done, I got a half done pile of greasy slop, reeking of old oil. My wife's skillet was also a pile of slop with ground sausage meat product instead of cut pieces of real sausage. The waitress was young and very inexperienced, never offering a refill of our coffee or asking us how our food was. You could see her just standing around constantly talking and complaining. The prices are cheap, but so is the food, avoid this dump!

Better than the awful Farmer's Restaurant across the street, Brian's is a family restaurant with ok to good food and poor to ok service.
