When I walked into this place, I was in love. The interior is both modern and cute, and the folks working there were very nice and accommodating. I ordered 2 cookies (1 chocolate chip, 1 snickerdoodle), and 1 cupcake. The cupcake was fine, but the cookies were off. They both tasted like they were missing a key ingredient - maybe brown sugar or vanilla? Hard to tell, but they weren't good. I had to toss them after only a couple of bites. I'm thinking this was just a bad batch, so I'm willing to try again since this place is so new.

I've had many cupcakes in my days. This weekend I stopped at Whipped. I bought a German Chocolate one for myself and a lemon one for my wife. My wife has baked her way through Martha Stewart's cupcake book and she still thinks Whipped's was better. The price was right and they support teachers. We'll be coming back frequently!

This bakery has an incredible staff and amazing pastries. We tried 6 different cupcakes and they were all delicious. We ordered a snowball (white cake with raspberry filling covered with frosting and coconut) which we loved! My least favorite of the cupcakes was lemon, which is usually a favorite. The tiramisu lacked the coffee element but was still really good. The brownie I tried was tasty. I has the same buttercream frosting as the cupcakes. Some people are purists when it comes to brownies; I am not one of them. It was fantastic. We have not tried the cookies yet. Please go and enjoy this gem in Old Town!

This is my new favorite bakery in town. I had the carrot cake cupcake and it was fantastic! The cake is so moist, has great flavor and had golden raisins inside which I absolutely love in a carrot cake. My partner had key lime pie, a seasonal flavor, which was also very good. The price is great, especially compared to other cupcake places in town. I paid $9 for a half dozen which can easily cost the same for 2 cupcakes elsewhere. Definitely going back to Whipped every time.

Cupcakes are amazing!!!!!!! My favorite are the chocolate peanut butter and raspberry but all of them are so delicious!!! I've ordered for birthday parties or just stopped in and got one for my sweet tooth :)

So happy we found this wonderful bakery in Old Town. They recently provided the delicious cupcakes for my son's wedding. Randy and the staff were professional and easy to work with and our guests were impressed with the awesome ombre cupcake display!

Whipped did our wedding cake and some specialty cookies for our wedding this past weekend - I have never had better wedding cake! Our cake was gorgeous, our cookies were perfectly decorated and we got dozens and dozens of compliments on both. Randy was the best baker we could have asked for - professional to a T, incredibly nice, and boy can the man do frosting! We ordered more than enough slices and cookies but everything was gone by the end of the night. I cannot recommend Whipped enough - if I could give them 100 stars I would. Absolute perfection.

Once a month for my company, I order treats for the office. I've purchased cupcakes from just about every bakery in Lansing/East Lansing, and the cupcakes at Whipped are by far the best around. They are always crafted to 100% perfection. I've never opened the box and been anything less than happy. Oh, by the way, they are DELICIOUS. Whipped offers a great variety of flavors, both traditional and out-of-the-box. You have your standards like Chocolate, Vanilla...but they also have more unique options like Orange-Pineapple, Mocha, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Cinnamon Swirl, so on and so forth. On top of all that, the staff is very accommodating and professional. I can usually order 3 or 4 dozen cupcakes with 24hr notice, no problem. If they have a question about my order, they call to verify. The price is very reasonable in my opinion. I recently paid $63 for 3 dozen cupcakes ($1.75/cupcake).

My sister ordered a cake for our mothers 85th birthday. It was made from a favorite family recipe and was WONDERFUL!! Whipped is working out of Roma Bakery while their new space on Turner St is under construction.

So adorable and modern with an equally adorable and modern (but busy) staff. I'm so thankful to have a treat shop closer to the West side and Whipped is one of the better dessert shops in the area. Whipped offers a lot of variety in the cupcake department and the prices are sweet (see what I did there?) and way more affordable than their competitors. The only downside for me is really a matter of personal taste - I find their batter to be very dense and not at all fluffy/light. This makes for a thick and chewy cupcake verses the airy kind I prefer.
