Cute and great service! Pancakes very thin and cherry sauce with them, yummy. English muffin sandwich looked great, omelet was very good also. Nice decor.

Great stop, very clean, tasty food, love the "antipasta salad" and pizza. Have daily specials. Week ends owner entertains with song. Yep, she is from the good old "Brownwood" restaurant. Remember the Honey Bee waitresses?

Stopped in for dinner at the Torch Lake Cafe and I left so pleased! I travel extensively for work and am forced to eat out more than I care to, but tonight's meal was a treat - I was not simply eating out, I was dining... I sat at their lovely bar and asked the bartender (Jackie) "what was good tonight' she recommended the prime rib. It turned out to be the best I've had anywhere! I get this dish all over, so when I say that I really mean it... My sides were great, the drink was perfect, the service very friendly, timely - the whole experience exceptional all the way around. There is one really negative review on Yelp, but my experience was only positive. I recommend this place whole-heartedly. Please give them a try and tell them the pilot sent you.

Best fried chicken dinner on Sundays! Excellent pizza and sandwiches. Have dined here many times and never a bad meal. Friendly staff (Sue) always makes sure you're taken care of.

Fun neighborhood gem with delicious whitefish and perch specials! Also have had the pizza and it is excellent! The owner even sings and plays guitar in the evenings! Really worth a try!

I really wanted this place to be awesome since its in an important location for the Torch community. Unfortunately, it's just a typical average cafe. I went for breakfast and had biscuits and gravy with home fries and bacon. The bacon was surprisingly good but the other was just really average. Not bad of course but not ranked high. My son had grilled cheese and fries and he ate it all which is a good sign for him. He is a grilled cheese snob. Since the bacon was good, I stopped by for lunch and had the BLT. Unfortunately, the lettuce was wilting and didn't appear fresh for my liking (admittedly I'm not an expert in this area) but the price was not worth it. If I were to go again it would be breakfast only and would try the pancakes or settle again for the biscuits and gravy. The place wasn't as clean as it should be. We sat in a booth by the window and their were several dead bugs which we cleaned up ourselves because it grosses both my 9 year old and myself out. Overall, if you're in the area try it out. The staff is friendly and the price is average but don't expect better than you can do at home.

Great Perch Dinner! Watch out for prices at Bar as we had four drinks for over $30! Good live music, but was there a cover charge?

We like the Torch Lake Café. It is about a block away from our vacation home, and we like to walk over at least once every time we come up. The breakfasts are good, especially Jerry's pancakes. Standard lunch fare, and a good dinner menu ensure a satisfying meal anytime of the day. Also they make good pizzas. In the mood for a cocktail? Just walk to the other end of the building, and have a seat in Deep Blue. A great little bar with live entertainment.

We eat here regularly, especially on Friday night for the fish dinners! All meals are generous and well prepared! The ribs are wonderful as well as the whitefish. Great breakfast, terrific sandwiches, and attentive staff. There is a new bar next door that is very inviting, great decor. Will be opening very soon. The owner is a musician and performs on the weekends.

Stopped on before even checking Yelp. Was hungry and this was next on the roAd. Great surprise. Super breakfast. Very reasonable. Try the pancakes (Swedish style-thin?). Great staff. Veteran owned. If in the area, you can't go wrong.

Loved it! Found it by accident while driving south on 31 and starving. Just opened Yelp! while driving and bam, The Torch Lake Cafe. The breakfast looked great but for lunch we had a couple awesome burgers with handmade onion rings. Perfect lunch, although service was a bit slow and had to get up a couple times to get water and napkins, but we were not in a rush. Great find using Yelp!, thanks!!
