I really wanted to love this place, especially with a name like "Namaste". We ordered the Nepali Onion Pakoda, Crab Rangoon (they were out of), Momos (only non-spicy option; takes 20 mins to prep), Samosas, Veggie Curry, Lassi Mango (they were also out of). Everything was good, but I can't say it left me wanting more. The waiter seemed overwhelmed, not sure if they're under-staffed? Unfortunately, he forgot one of my orders, so I just asked for it to-go (Veggie Curry). We sat waiting for my to-go order for awhile, (after already paying our bill) when the waiter came over and asked if we needed help...I reminded him that we were just waiting for my to-go order--which he immediately ran to the counter to get, b/c he had forgot {again}. The amount of veggie curry that was in the to-go container was a lot less than I had expected, but it also came with wheat bread. Overall, tasty food but unfortunately missed the bar.

Very good meal, with exceptionally friendly service. Would come here again. A few small things keep it from five stars, but definitely worth trying.

I've never had Nepali food, and love Indian. Small, basic, mom-n-pop kind of place with crazy, reasonable prices. What I tried was GREAT! Vegetable Momos (Nepali dumplings), $4.99/10 pcs., was very good. The accompanying sauce was spicy. She offered a sweet sauce, but I stayed with the heat. Pork Sekuwa ($5.99 was a crispy, pork stir fry. Had lentils, cabbage, onions and pieces of crispy pork. It was also very good! Ordering the Fried Tofu ($5.99) with peanut sauce, to-go. Will post a review later, but I trust it's going to be good too!

Really delicious flavors, but very mediocre quality. A very good concept, and definitely worth a try. The service is a little lacking and the environment is interesting. It left me feeling a bit mixed, but I am very glad I tried it. I was so glad to see something so different in this area, and for this reason alone, everyone should try it! By the way, have the Indian Salad. It's really refreshing and delicious!

If I could give 3.5 stars I definitely would, but I think this place is worth checking out to the extent that I'm giving it 4 stars. Namaste kitchen strikes me as people cooking the food they eat at home and as such, the food is less polished than a lot of places that serve ethnic food. That being said, the food and the flavors are unique and worth checking out. Mango lassi was smooth and a little fluffy, but not as heavily sweetened or acidic as usual. The mom are dumplings that are steamed- we had the chicken mom, which come with a spicy sauce and are almost a fusion of a Chinese dumpling with Indian flavors; totally delicious. The Samosas, filled with beef and potato, were spicy, hot and tasty. We also had puffy wheat bread that came with a very thin and soupy curry; (this is how it's described in the menu, I can't remember the exact name) the bread was tasty, but the curry was soupy, which wasn't appealing to me. We had a pork dish, also, which had tons of fat on it and wasn't our jam- if you're a fan of large portions of pork belly I am sure you would love it, as the flavors are great- smoky, spicy bbq pork. I apologize that I can't remember the exact names of some of the dishes but they are well described on the menu.

Really good and different. Small strip mall cafe. Nepalse food--with Indian and Chinese influences (makes sense). The fried rice was a little stranglely sweet. The Mo Mo (dumpliings) were great--we had both vegetarian and meat. The pork Szeuah was flavored well--a bit charred, but a little tough. The chatpate is really different and delicious! Very friendly place even though we were the only Caucasians there.

Only one lady attending to guests outside, That is ok, I don't mind the delay, it keeps the costs down. However she was not super proficient in English and we being Indians, we were able to communicate ok (mix of Hindi, English and head bobs..... lol). We ordered pork momos (not pot stickers, not dumplings, not wontons but real Tibetan/Nepali momos) and pork sekuwa. They said it will take 20 mins and we were ok with it because we didn't want stale food. It was good food, potions were small for the low price. Very tasty food, left us craving for more. Please go and patronize the place. But don't go about complaining about slow service, remember the one woman workplace and slow pace keeps prices down and keeps food piping hot and fresh.

All the flavors are awesome!!! We came because of the reviews and had a very delicious lunch. The fried Nepali onion Pakoda with this delicious hot sauce was tempting us for another order. Then the Mo Mo came out and that we had to get extra to go so to eat more of it! The Mo Mo are steamed dumplings that looks like Chinese dumplings, but not the same. The chicken filling was SO GOOD. I'm going to spare you the description of the flavors so you can taste and enjoy it for yourself. We were surprised with the flavors. The owner told us they bought the business just a month ago. Service is a bit slow, staff is friendly an polite. Worth coming for the food.

Wow! So good! Quite an enjoyable experience! Me and my friend enjoyed everything! As a crowd please there are American soft drinks and also some typical Chinese food items but the Indian & Nepalese menu is delicious. The staff are very polite and helpful. Treat them well and visit often!

The Nepalese cuisine is a mix and match of what some would consider Asian and Indian. The few dishes I had were very good with an approximate 20 minute wait for the food to arrive. The staff was very friendly and helpful with the different menu items. Nameste is in the Horrocks parking lot, I feel like this location has had a half-dozen restaurants in and out in the last 10 years for some reason. Only negative is no takeout menu.

I'm so glad I accidentally came came across this restaurant! Delicious vegetarian dishes, although the meat was quite charred. However, I still give 5 stars because everything else was fantastic. The food, the friendly and polite service, and the prices. More details in my GR Food Blog: justagrainofsalt.wordpre…

Namaste Kitchen was a delightful surprise. It's my kind of place... a small clean diner, where the food and service are more important than the decor. The food was just excellent (I'm a big eater and had seconds) and the service even better. Hari my waiter made every effort to make my visit pleasant and he succeeded! While dining I was the only caucasian there and that always tells me I'm getting something very authentic. It was a very friendly little place and I'll definitely stop again.
