This place is pretty solid. I stopped in with some family for a quick lunch. I can't speak about their pizza, but the patty melt I had was delicious. I'm a sucker for a good patty melt, and this one makes my top 5. The potato chips were a bit soggy, but all-in-all a pretty good experience. The wait staff were friendly and drink refills were fast. I'm so glad a place like this exists in Kalkaska!

I think this is one of the worst places I have ever ate at. Service was awful. Food was awful. Salads are awful. Pizza is very expensive and not the best. Nicos pizza is way better and a better price. Well never ever go there again. I eat at G's in Lake Orion and it is so much better. I don't know who could give this a good review. They clearly don't know any better.

The only reason they don't get five stars is because they're a bit expensive...but every pizza we get here (and we always get pizza here when visiting family) is delicious. I wish we had a G's in NC where we live.

From the reviews, I was expecting a good, solid, pizza. Not gourmet, but flavorful. It was not good. The antipasto salad was made of iceberg lettuce, and tasted of the preservatives on the lettuce. The pizza was almost completely tasteless. I mean really tasteless. I think they're using cheap ingredients, and it shows. Even the ranch dressing was tasteless. My partner and I were beyond disappointed at the wasted calories. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is that the staff was extremely friendly, and our server was super nice. But I say avoid until they make up their mind to improve their ingredients.

Not good and also expensive. Workers are rude and mouthy. I will never eat there again. Save $10/pizza and get a hot and ready, same quality 1/4 mile away.

G's in K-town is just one of those small town pizza places that would even make Tony Soprano's mouth water. My affinity for small town establishments in general makes G's one of my favorite pizza places go to, period. There are so many pizza chains out there, where is the originality??? G's by far has some of the best breadsticks that I've ever had. They all very in length, none of them are in a uniform shape, and the cheese and garlic butter compliment the airy and soft texture of the inside of the wonderful pieces of heaven; if they aren't homemade and made with love, then they sure fooled me. Everytime I go there, it seems as though everyone knows everyone there, which adds to the ambiance of the family and small town atmosphere. Just thinking about going there right now is making me salivate, seriously. Here I go again, day dreaming about food all day at work and telling myself not to drive 3.5 hours just for food. Resist the temptation... resist the temptation...

Good pizza with a dining room that is isn't like a fast food place. It's expensive but tastes better. The biggest problem with G's is they are terrible about getting orders right. I'd say almost half the orders I've gotten have been wrong in some way over the last 15 years or so. Forgetting items on our pizza or sandwich is almost a tradition and over the last year or so they have been seriously under-cooking their pocket and the deep dish pizza pies with the cheese on top. If you have even a slightly complicated order, and you're ordering over the phone: avoid them unless you have time to get a replacement. You'll generally have better luck dining in but even that's not fool-proof.

I have eaten pizza here since I was a kid. I have eaten a lot of pizza, but every time I do, I compare it to G's. It's definitely one of my favorite pizza places. Their calzones are good too.

I have to say I was SO pleasantly surprised! We were on our way home from Boyne Mountain and needed to stop somewhere other than McDonalds to eat. I looked on the cell phone at my trusty yelp app, and saw a good review for this restaurant and decided to try it. Boy are we glad we did! The pizza was AWEsome!!!! Hot, fresh, the best ingredients, I had the barbecue chicken pizza, which the group loved, someone else ordered the veggie pizza- FRESH Broccoli!!! My husband the meat lover ordered the meat lovers pizza, NO one was disappointed. The waitress was outstanding. It was my husband's birthday and she found out and brought us a 'birthday pizza: which has sugar and cinammon, it was great. But she handled a party of 10 adults and four kids like a pro. ALways a step ahead, friendly, just delightful. She even took a picture of our whole family outside for us! I would absolutely go back again.

I think they have one of the best pizzas in the entire State. If in the area and looking for good pizza and breadsticks this place is a must!

G's in Kalkaska is family owned and they invest back into their community. Their food is very good and they have a bar now too with good beers on tap and a nice variety of liquor for your favorite adult beverage. My two favorite items are the Big Als pizza and the mozzarella spears. Those who give this place a bad rating must have been on a bad day...all restaurants have them. The staff is always nice, prompt and attentive. When in Kalkaska, I choose Gs every time.

G's is a Michigan chain of pizzerias. One of my girlfriends favorite places to get pizza, we often go here when we visit her family in Kalkaska. The last time we were there, we noticed they updated the inside, even adding a bar. This time I made my own pizza, BBQ sauce, chicken and bacon. My girlfriend had a pizza pocket stuffed with her favorites. My girlfriend's mom had a side salad, mini potatoes, and baked fish. Overall the food is good, good enough to keep coming back.

I came here with my friends on our trip and we tried a simple pepperoni pizza with basil on top. The pizza was delicious! It only cost $10 for an 8". It had great flavor and the crust was exceptional. The reason why I only gave four stars is that our waitress was not very friendly. Maybe she was new, but she only came to our table for the bare minimum times (drink order, food order, bring food, check). She also seemed bothered by us being there. My friend suggested that maybe she saw a group of friends and assumed the tip wouldn't be very high so why bother. I overheard another waitress next to us and she sounded super friendly and helpful though. So it was only this one girl. Overall, very good
