Our favorite pizza place in the local area. I don't know why we hadn't discovered Peppino's sooner! After trying just about every local pizza joint in the area, Peppino's is our family's all around favorite for a traditional style pizza. No, this is not a $5 hot n ready kind of place, but they are quick and use much better ingredients. I normally do carry-out and they always seem to have the pizza ready before the estimated time they tell me. The pizzas are always hot and fresh, just the right amount of toppings, and they're not overly greasy like a lot of places...none of that floppy, grease-soaked pizza here, at least that's been our experience. After ordering many a pizza pie from Peppino's, they have the most consistent crusts. A lot of the other pizza places might have a perfectly cooked crust one time, followed by a mix of doughy and/or overly crispy the next several times. I've recently tried the cheese manicotti and the italian grinder, both of which were very good also. Service is top notch, super friendly; always pleasant and helpful when ordering on the phone, picking up, or having it delivered.
