Very good food and friendly service. Cafeteria style as said by other reviewers which was something new to experience at a restaurant personally. Reasonably priced.

Breakfast is great. Just note that it is cafeteria style. This threw me off when I walked in the door. The menu is on the wall opposite of the cash register. If you choose to dine in they bring your food to the table. This place is a lot larger than it appears from the outside.

I do not give 5 stars lightly...see my record. After Hurricane Katrina, I made my way back to cold, cold Michigan to wait out the evacuation. There is not much left in Jackson's downtown and for breakfast on a weekend, it was almost impossible to get anything. EVERYTHING was closed. But luckily, I happened upon BZB. All I wanted was a simple breakfast worth eating and I got so much more. The eggs were cooked perfectly; the bacon was, too. But the toast...Oh my sweet lord of food...the toast...I ordered English muffin toast thinking it would be interesting. It was so much more. It was crack toast. Seriously...I bake bread and I could NOT have hoped for a more perfect English muffin toast if it had been created in a particularly vibrant wet dream. I ordered 4 helpings of it and almost a decade later, I have not had a better English muffin toast than that. Thank you for making my terrible time away from New Orleans a bit easier, BZB.

Awesome place with an extremely friendly staff! The city of Jackson has plenty of great breakfast spots and they each have something that stands out. This place has incredible (a word I don't use lightly) muffin toast. If you are an English muffin fan, then this is a must!! It made my simple 2 eggs in toast and sausage...HEAVEN! I come to Jackson a couple times of year to see my in laws, so now I have a new stop I need to make during these semiannual trips.

When they ask you if you would like to try the muffin toast say Absolutely Yes! The service is so fast & friendly. The food is delicious & reasonably priced. Sit here to eat & you'll quickly notice they take the time to know people names. Also seams to be a good place to read the paper & over heat what's going on in Jackson.
