This place has the worst food in Alma. I wouldn't recommend it to someone I hate. Beware of food poisoning. I would check out the kitchen before eating here.

This restaurant was very local, but not necessarily in a good way. We had poor service and the food was substandard. The ingredients and components of the meals just didn't look fresh at all. It was overcrowded and the bathrooms were a little scary. The only good part was perhaps the moderately low prices, but that's not going to do much for the overall quality. My opinion - just make the trip down to Lansing.

Wait staff friendly and efficient. Food very good. Nice place to sit and relax. We went at 6:00 by the time we left at 7:30 they had a full house with more waiting!

Everything you would expect from an out of the way little diner. Big portions for small prices and not the fanciest but certainly clean decor. Everything tasted very homemade and the service was outstanding. Do not leave without trying the pie!

Looking for that off the beaten path local favorite? Than look no further than JJ's. Their portions are large and the price is more than reasonable. They are great any time of the day. The atmosphere is very down home. If you go try the sampler platter. It is nearly a meal in itself.
