The restaurant has a semi-scenic location right on a golf course just a few minutes outside of Hurley/Ironwood. It's classified as a pizza restaurant but, from the looks of the menu, they are more focused on steaks and ribs. My husband and mother in law both had ribs and said they were decent. The salad bar that came with the meal, however, was pretty disappointing (not fresh and very picked over by 6:30pm). The larger, meal-sized salads were okay, and my father in law enjoyed his steak salad quite a bit - "pretty darn good". I, however, had to pick the 'grilled' chicken off of my dish because it was so incredibly dry. Granted, there aren't a lot of great food options in Hurley. But I'd recommend the Bell Chalet over Elk & Hound any day. We won't be coming back.
