This is the cutest little coffee shop I have ever come across. They have a great selection of breakfast and lunch meals and sandwiches, plus AMAZING cappuccinos and a whole list of flavors. They're service is super friendly and great with people of all ages (even the little ones!). This is the best place to go for breakfast or lunch in Downtown Holly!

What a cute little joint! Amidst the small Downtown Holly sits this cute cafe that serves breakfast/brunch and lunch items. This was our first time coming here, and boy do I wish we came here sooner! Plus it's super close to us, so that is great! We came close around 3:30pm on a Saturday, so it was close to quitting time (they close at 4pm on the weekends btw). The lady, however, was super nice and told us that they were still preparing food. Since they have a large selection of sandwiches, soups, and salads, it took us some time to decide what to order. After a few minutes, we ordered: Pastrami Reuben ($8.95) and the Herbed Turkey Grill ($7.95). The portions are decent for the price, but the standout of the two was the Herbed Turkey Grill sandwich. Served on Pumpernickel bread, the sandwich consisted of thinly sliced roasted turkey, baby spinach, tomato, cheddar cheese, and a thousand island-ish sauce. Since they were closing, the lady apologized for the smaller amount of turkey in the sandwich and only charged us $4. We appreciated her honesty. :) The Pastrami Reuben sandwich was pretty lean and had a nice flavor, but we still prefer the texture of the one from Stage Deli. However, for the price, it was still yummy and the portion was good. Chips were served with it, but were a tad too salty, so we didn't eat all of them. I'd be curious to see what their soups and breakfast items are like here, so I'll come back another time and give another update. I highly recommend coming here if you happen to be visiting the North Oakland County area!

Pretty good place to eat in Holly. Some good choices of sandwiches and salads. I like the different daily soup selections to choose from. I wish some of the portions were a bit larger for the price point. BUT other than that I enjoy everything else about this establishment.

Just okay. Somewhat overpriced for what you get. Staff is friendly. Wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Coffee was weak & biscuits were microwaved. Eggs were great. Hard to find a meatless breakfast. I wasn't looking for drinks. I see blackstone is closed across the street. Nobody ever very long.

This place was really neat. Very small, but the waitresses seem to know everyone in there and treated them like family. Food was great! Service was great too!

Really good food and friendly service! It's small, so prefer to go during the week when it's not as busy. Definitely a great local business that I like to support.

Good food, fast service. A little pricey but it was good and it's really a quaint little place. Very pleasant, nice downtown business. Will return if I am back in Holly again. Had the traditional pastrami with coleslaw. A little messy an the coleslaw was strange, but the sandwich was a nice change of pace with the yellow peppers

Ding. Ding. Every 30 seconds from the microwave. Nothing is actually cooked. I don't even think they own a stove. Seriously. Don't waste your time or money. Jimmy Deans freezer meals is what you'll get.

One of my all time favorites in Holly. The best food and employees makes this place a great cafe. Now they server beer and wine and the Friday night crowds are getting larger every week. Next time you are in Holly, Michigan make sure you stop by this cafe it's well worth it.

Quaint town in central Michigan with a unique downtown and this great little restaurant. Food was very good. Service was great and the building was vintage. Would definitely return.

We spent the night at my brothers in Holly MI after a fun night at DTE (Pine Knob). In the morning we were looking for a good breakfast place nearby. We found this little hole in the wall in the quaint "downtown" area of Holly. Boy am I glad we did. They had gourmet coffees and juices (those hit the spot!) and an extensive breakfast and lunch menu. Everything we ordered was very tasty. Notable dishes- Ham and egg on a croissant and the open faced veggie omelet (the special that day). If you find yourself in Holly, this place is definitely worth a stop for breakfast or lunch.

I have had several great experiences at Bittersweet Cafe! My church and family are in the Holly area and it is such a treat to go there. I am a creature of habit and am absolutely addicted to the roast beef sandwich with aged cheddar - This sandwich is huge and will fill you up! They have a vast menu where anyone can find something to eat and drink - A perfect intimate place to have lunch with friends!

This place is our favorite place to have Breakfast. The Herb Turkey Grill is my favorite sandwich and their fresh house-made coleslaw is amazing. Lots of drink choices and service is always fantastic. Cozy atmosphere and a quaint patio for the warmer months.

I really like this place and I think they serve great food! My only complaint would be that it's a bit pricy and I can't stand places that charge $5-$9 for a sandwhich and you get chips as a side. I think they would benefit if they did different types of salads. Overall great food! I think they also need more of a breakfast menu.
