One of the best tavern burger and sandwich spots around. Great sports viewing, home town friendly locals and a great upstairs deck for the warmer weather.

First, I've only sat in the upstairs patio & I must admit I like the setting a lot. Sitting above any foot or motor traffic (which isn't much as it is located on a road which dead-ends into Lake Lansing), there is an "away from it all" feel with a great view of the park across the street & the lake at the end of the road. A fine selection of beers, including craft beers, and wide selection of burgers make this a fine gathering place to relax & swap stories with family or friends. One caveat, the buffalo fries were swimming in hot sauce & not served hot. While it sounded good on the menu, the execution was under whelming. And by the way, why is it called Lake Lansing instead of Lansing Lake ??? That was the essence of our table's IPA enhanced discussion ...

The best burger in town is made here. Forget Red Robin. This place is absolutely the best. Hole on the wall bar, local crowd, but excellent friendly service and amazing burgers. We do not order anything else. Any burger and we are happy. Give this place a chance, and you will never think of a burger the same.

Have only been there once for a short time but the food was good and service was decent. If your in that area and want decent food go here instead of the Bluegill Grill. If you JUST want atmosphere maybe give the Bluegill Grill a try.

Local crowd relaxed and fun I was there last summer and this place definitely has the feel of a bar for "locals". Seems like the crowd at this bar is a little older in the mid-twenties to forties. They played a fair amount of county and it was a fun relaxed atmosphere. If you are looking a local bar with a friendly, fun, atmosphere then check this place out
