The new location in hartland near read olive and the dollar store has truly shown me the meaning of awful service, if i could give it less than 1 star i would. After waiting the discussed 15 minutes for a half cheese half everything medium pizza i walked in only to be told it was going to be another 10 minutes, no problem at all. 10 minutes later its going to be another 5.. still ok. after waiting 30 minutes I am presented with a pizza box that literally has sauce spilling out the side of it, curious to say the least i lift the damp cardboard lid unveiling the sloppiest pizza i have and probably will ever see, it looked like it had been carried sideways all the cheese was pushed over to one side so i had a half cheese and a half marinara sauce with none of the toppings i ordered. Obviously this was unacceptable and i wouldn't spend a dime for it, so it was sent back to the sickly looking chef that was constantly rubbing his nose while cooking. I waited another 25ish minutes for their next attempt at a presentable pizza in front of the building. when i walked back in no one said anything i stood their waiting then finally i asked if my order was ready, the cook personally handed me my box and sent me on my way i happily paid and left. When I thought my journey had finally come to an end I sat down in my car anxiously waiting for that first piece, out of curiosity i opened the box only to show the staff had sharpied' a note inside my box, It read " Dont come back high, were always watching" with a poorly drawn Illuminati Eye looking at me, Outraged i stormed into the store demanding to speak with whomever thought it was a cleaver idea, the manager refused to speak with me, hiding in the back of the kitchen she sent the pizza boy up to take care of me, i asked him what the hell it was, he played dumb, " i dont know, what do you mean" i opened the box, pointed at the Illuminati eye and said "what the **** is this?" the cocky basterd had the nerve to say " half cheese half everything, isnt that what you orderd?" there was only 3 people working i assured him he knew who wrote it and that i would like to speak to them, he wouldn't tell me who did it so i cut my loses and demanded my money back. Of course the cook had no idea how to run the register so the incompetent manager who couldn't even look at me directed him on how to do a refund from the back of the kitchen behind a wall. not to mention every minute i waited in there i had to listen to these 3 talk to each other in the most unprofessional way imaginable, N word this N word that, talked about coke heads and all sorts of shit i didn't want to listen to before i ate food they prepared for me. Needles to say never going back, Never recommending it, sharing this story every chance i get. Many friends tell me they also receive horrible service from the same crew, charging them for things that they didn't order and leaving out things they did. AVOID if at all possible, check your order if you do go there tho.

I have been going to Gus's and tomato brothers for years. My experience today with this location was cause for this review. My breadsticks were under cooked. So bad it was raw dough. My slice was over cooked so bad the crust was rock hard. I will stick to the Howell store from now on!

My family has ordered everything on the menu over the past few years and love the food. I would recommend them reading back your order when ordering fried chicken. If the miss it, it's a 20 minute wait. Happened 2x before i learned that lesson. Chicken, ribs, salads, and breadsticks are the best.

Gus' has the best carry out food, hands down. I have had the pasta, the salads and the ribs many times. Everything is excellent. We have used them to cater parties also. They never disappoint. No mater if you are feeding. Two or twenty two, Gus's is the place to go. Their pricing is also a plus. Lots of food, for a VERY reasonable price. Oh yeah, breadsticks. Get an extra bag, or you will be sorry.

Understaffed and unorganized. Had an awful experience and food was not cooked as well as I expected it to be.

If you're in the mood for ribs, go here!! They are always hot and delicious. And the bread sticks??? Just like the old Hartland Pizza!! I have yet to try the pizza since I can't seem to get anything other than ribs. I did try half a bbq chicken, which was ok, a little dry. Last order was also the stromboli, which was yummy. I assume the dipping sauce for that is also their pizza sauce. It made me want to order pizza next time. Oh and if you order the rib or chicken dinners, they come with sides of pasta, greek salad and bread sticks. I know I will be back soon!! I would give 5 stars, however, I do not care for their pasta sauce and the strong red onions included on the greek salad are too much for me to eat it :(

My family and I have always loved the food, regardless of what we order. We were just really disappointed with the service we got on a busy Saturday night; we had to wait a little longer than expected, which was no problem, it was just watching everyone else who came in several minutes after we did get their food first. When I approached the counter, the employee was confused and had no idea what I was waiting for. When I told her the name, she panicked and asked for the rest of our order that hadn't been put in. When she handed us our food, she grabbed a pizza that had been sitting on the counter for longer than we had been there. When we asked about the chances of the pizza still being warm, she offered no apology and looked more surprised than we were.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
