So let me start off by saying that my experience was definitely partially my fault in this matter. We ordered delivery to Fowling which is cool that they deliver there, but unfortunately they forgot silverware, napkins and plates which is difficult at Fowling Warehouse, because you don't have anything available. So we had them go back for the stuff, which they did. Unfortunately, when they returned all of our food was cold because we had been waiting. Also, we were in the middle of playing games the second time around, so the food was even colder. It was my cheat meal, so I was starving so nothing is that bad when you're hungry. We had two of the gluten free specialty pizzas *which again* had I gotten regular pizza it probably would have been better. The hot tots were similar to fried mac and cheese bites and those were decent. The antipasto salad was good and had tons of vegetables. Also, everyone who ordered the Flipster - Calzone type items seemed to enjoy them. I wouldn't recommend getting the gluten free, but I'd also try it again when it was warm. Maybe next time Amicci's. Give it a try for yourselves. I've seen some good reviews, so I might have just had a bad experience.

Great pizza and really good service. This stuff is better than the fast-food pizza chains and still is priced competitively. I can't figure out why there any bad reviews for this place, my experience was great!

I've ordered food for delivery from Amicci's several times. Only once did they make a mistake with my order, and it wasn't a big one. I called and they gave me 25% off my next order. The Flipster is AWESOME, and their lunch deals are really reasonable. I would recommend Amicci's to anyone in the area!

Not very impressed. Jerk wings were cold and soggy. I ordered hush puppies but got two orders of bread instead? The manager did refund the money for the hush puppies thankfully. My food is currently in the oven getting warm :/

Well Amicci's, you have stepped up your game! We have tried you again, and ordered twice in recent months, and everything was great. Food was good, AND order was CORRECT Delivery driver was nice and did not smell of smoke. Keep up the good work and we will continue to order!

Strictly a hit or miss pizza place. Employees are all pretty friendly but the food is alright. It works in a pinch. Look to the Entertainment book for an annual sweet coupon BOGO up to $15. Scrimps all around.

Good pizza. I like the old fashioned spicy pepperoni (you've got to ask special). Wish that every time I ordered I would get it right, but if they goof they give a great discount for next time. Love that if I go to Baker's Street Car and/or Whisky in the Jar and they call it in I get a discount! Beer and Pizza yumm!! Employees are friendly and they are really good on delivery (and fast)!

I'm surprised to see all of the negative reviews about Amicci's. I have ordered from them many times and my order has always been correct and delicious when delivered to my door. Maybe my time is coming but it hasn't so far. Last time I ordered was two Sundays ago. I had family over for cards and we ordered pizza, wings, and salad. Only my roommate and I had eaten Amicci's before, but the whole group commented that everything was very good. I should add that we are typically told it will be about 40 minutes for delivery and it's always spot on. I'm a fan!

The pizza and wings are great. I have had some difficulty using the online ordering system.

Pizza is decent. Delivery times are not, regardless of what time of day it is. Have been waiting 1hr and 19 min for current order.... called 10 minutes ago and they told us the delivery guy "should be pulling up any second!" after they first told me, "We don't have an order for that address," then after a few seconds of shuffling around "oh, wait, here it is!" Unfortunately, this is like, the third time it's happened. I've never heard of it taking so long for a pizza to travel such a short distance :( EDIT: ...And inspecting our order, (which arrived 10 or so minutes after the review was originally posted making for just about a 90 minute wait) they've sent us the wrong salad AGAIN. So now I guess we'll be waiting another 90 minutes for the correct one. :( It's cool though... who doesn't like eating dinner at 11pm. Pizza also arrived pretty cold. Thanks Amicci's, it's been fun, but I think I'm breaking up with you. Any other recommendations on pizza delivery in the D, hit me up. I'm all ears after tonight.

I don't know what happened, but I'm starting to understand the other bad reviews. Our last couple of orders, they have totally screwed up our food, and one time they even dropped our entire order (accidentally, but still) on our front porch. The portions are also extremely inconsistent - some nights the meatball sub will have four meatballs, other nights nine or ten. Our food has been cold a few times, which makes no sense considering they're less than five minutes away. Step it up, guys.

Good, cheap pizza. It's not quite Buddy's, but then again, what is? My wife and I live in Hamtramck and this is our go-to pizza joint. We've even turned a few friends into fans. I always get a sausage and onion and they never miss.

This place constantly gets our orders wrong and the food barely counts as nourishment. Skip it if you can.

Without a doubt the best pizza you can get in Detroit for your money. I live in Midtown and my roommates and I always buy from here. Their pizza always tastes so great and fresh. I love their prices too, you can get a medium with any one topping for just $5 carryout. I usually drive out to get it, but I've never had a problem using their delivery service on lazy days. If you're going out, they also deliver for free at all the great local bars in Hamtramck. Good times!

The pizza here is terrible! Do they use real cheese? The sauce was bland the Supposedly "spicy" pepperoni was bland, and crust soggy. A mouthful of nothing. I will never go back here again.

I am a huge fan of Detroit style pizza. While this isn't my favorite pizza place (buddy's or shield's are still my top choices), it's only a few blocks away from my house, and fulfills all the requirements I want when looking for pizza. First of all, their standard pizza is round. They're fine. The greek pizza is good. They get less good when they're not hot. I highly recommend the "deep dish" pizzas, though. they're actually rectangular pan pizzas. The hawaiian is my favorite. It comes with extra cheese, ham, bacon, pineapples. There's just enough burnt cheese on the edges to give it some crisp and a contrasting texture. You can get a small deep dish for about 7 bucks. It's six slices, and could easily feed two people. After a major pizza craving a couple weeks ago, I ate the whole thing, and was far too full. Their wings, nachos and salads are also decent. Everything I've tried there is not bad. If you're at whiskey in the jar, they'll bring it over to you for no extra charge (but tip the people that bring it, please). I haven't ever had a need to have them deliver to me, but I am wary of it because the drivers are insane. They hang outside the restaurant, yelling into their phones. some of them have their families with them. It's rather shady. don't get me wrong, a couple of them are really nice, and everyone inside is great as well. I recommend Amicci's for value, deep dish, wings, and proximity in Hamtramck.

Had it delivered to Fowling and our delivery guy set it up like we were fine dining. So nice! Love it. And it tasted delightful!! Perfect with beer.

It is in bad taste to publish coupons in the Entertainment Book and then not honor them. So much for trying to shop local. I find that type of conduct to be reprehensible and very telling of the type of ownership Amiccis is under.

You can order Amiccis when you are at the Fowling Warehouse! DO IT! We were there for a party Friday night, fowled from 7-11 and instead of going to Mexicantown for dinner a friend recommended ordering Amiccis! So glad we did! Two pizzas, one supreme, one cheese, they were MONSTROUS! Tons of veggies and meat on the supreme. Will be fowling again and will order Amiccis!

Extensive menu of mediocre food. Fried mushrooms are wet, doughy and undercooked. Other apps (boneless wings and cheese sticks) were obviously frozen. Thin-crust thai pizza sounded great but was bland and covered in canned mushrooms- a culinary pet peeve of mine. My spouse's Detroit style pizza was better. It's probably the only think I'd recommend. The "highlight" for me was our delivery girl; who showed up at the wrong door (we'd included instructions in our order), swore ("J---- C-----!"), and forgot to bring everything. When I called them to let them know, she called me back and became very rude and belligerent with me. Eventually, I told her that if this is how she speaks to customers, I would prefer she not return. We would call the missing items a loss, and would simply never order from them again. Sometimes, extraordinary food makes poor service worth it. This is not one of those times. You can do better than Amicci's.
