Usually the service is SPECTACULAR although it was slow for breakfast. Well worth the wait! The Hawaiian scrambler was one for the record books! Yum!!! The water is of well variety, so you might want something from a bottle. The decor has some nice local thriving artists. And in case you were wondering they do have keno!
The food was decent and it's family friendly bar / restaurant. Lots of wood and kitch, and if your a vegetarian, like my girl, you may get freaked out by all the dead animal heads mounted on the walls. Everywhere! It's a hunters paradise. I sat in the original building (which is a log cabin), kinda cool.
Great food with the atmosphere you'd expect for a local country bar. We visited here with my in-laws and I had a hard time selecting dinner because there were several appetizing choices but ended up deciding on the Fire Clucker sandwich (chicken breast, jalapeños, pepper jack cheese and spicy ranch). It was hot off the griddle and exactly what I was hoping for. My husband had a burger cooked to a perfect medium as ordered. The fries were the kind with the crunchy coating and we enjoyed them. I think the kettle chips are also made in-house and delicious. The menu has a great selection of regular bar-fare while remaining interesting, including wraps, grilled subs, calzones and pizza. They had at least 3 soup selections and some of the dinner salads also sounded pretty yummy. The service was friendly. When my mother-in-law's sandwich came with the cheese she had requested be omitted, the correction was made with apology and quick remedy. She had a brand new sandwich in less than five minutes. Overall, this is a great local meal for a decent price. We look forward to future meals here with our family that lives nearby.
