Oh why oh why don't they have you Timmies in Arizona? Seriously the only reason I come to visit Michigan is to get my fix. Caffeination is my drug. When I can't make it I order tubs of Timmy's online and have them sent to me UPS next day! Try it but warning: you may also become an addict!

Reviews:
Just opened up in Garden City. Seen on IG that they're opened till 2AM so we called last night at 11:30, they were indeed open!! Score!!! We ordered a tawook pita sandwich and it was great. Store was very clean. Sandwich had garlic paste, and pickles and pressed on a panini press. Yum. This afternoon we ordered there for lunch and got the same sandwich again but tried the tropical cocktail. I wasn't sure what to expect. It had fruit and mango juice and kashta. Kashta is cheese.... It's a weird combo but good. Definitely not like anything I've had before. My hubby loved it. We ordered there again tonight and got the tawook and shwarma pitas. Both good. They have some unusual choices on the menu so we'll stick to the Middle Eastern food. It's a bonus that they're opened late and serve healthy food. It's pretty cheap too. See you there tomorrow.
Awesome Middle Eastern Sub Shop. Steak and Cheese is Great The Louisana Sub is a must try If you like spicy chicken. The falafel Sandwich is to die for also. They don't toast the pita or put so much Tahini that the sandwich falls apart. I used to go to Al Basha but this is my New fav, Place is clean and they will deliver locally. They are on Ford rd next to Platos in Garden City. I stopped in thinking they were a jersey mikes or tubby's type sub shop. Glad I stopped. gave a carry out menu to a gas station near me and they ordered 4 days in a row from there. Highly recommend the steak and cheese. I order mine w/o mushrooms and it is Juicy tender and the bread is toasted to perfection. A bit slow on getting the food but it is by far THE FRESHEST YOU WILL EVER TASTE. I re wrote my review from a 4 to a 5 star if there were 10 stars they would get it. Also open til midnight
Great service, well mannered and took care of all my needs. The food was great I will definitely be back. I have told many friends to try this place. I'm sure they will have the same to say in regards to their experience with original subs. Family owned, have been in the industry for quite awhile. They know what they are doing!

Jennies Pierogies

6659 Middlebelt Rd
Garden City, 48135
Reviews:
Jennies Pierogies was just pointed out to me the other day as I was driving down Middlebelt so I made a point to stop in the next day. I wasn't sure what to expect when I inside. So here is the skinny: Nothing is served hot. The pierogies are served refrigerated and ready for frying at home. (Once you do fry them up they are delicious by the way) They also sell pre-cooked frozen meals to-go. I snatched one of those up as well and it made for a awesome lunch at work.
Overall, very good food. My friends and I split the kielbasa (Dearborn brand), the potato +garlic, potato +cheese, and potato +bacon pierogies. One thing to keep in mind is that you have to cook the food at home. I would have liked to see some larger chunks of bacon in the potato +bacon pierogies since the flavor was lacking a bit.
Very good pierogi! I would not have found them here except for my local friend. I figure if she liked them I was safe as her gran is Polish and I have tasted her gran's delicious homemade pierogi. It is a friendly mom and pop type shop. The pierogi run between $6.50- $8 bucks per dozen. They have an excellent selection but I must admit it is all about the farmer's cheese or the kraut for me. My husband is a fan of the potato, cheese and bacon. For something different you can get cherry which can stem my vareniki cravings in a pinch. They also sell stuffed cabbage, soups and various other items but I have not delved into them yet. Easily turned into a tasty dinner. Great for the non chef, like myself.

Good Burger

849 Inkster Rd
Garden City, 48135
Reviews:
With all the reviews I was excited to try Good Burger. In the end, it was a sad burger. The burger patty was bland, dry, and overcooked. I know they claim their burgers are "fresh and never frozen," but this was the most frozen-looking "fresh" burger I've ever had. I guess I was expecting a more hand-made patty, especially since the Garden City location is literally right next to a meat market. It seems the sad burger is hidden underneath deep fried, tasty toppings. The sauce is good, but that's about all. The fries were nothing special, even with the Cajun seasoning. And although the decor is nice, the place was extremely cold.
I've never been to the gas station location, but I did vist the one on Inkster road. It was a very good experience, the food was awesome. Very delisciouse and I do recommend giving them a try.. I've been there a few times and the food was always good. Consistency in food quality is a key to success, and consistency they have, give them a try and you will not regret it.
I really wished they never changed the meat. It was a weekly thing for me than they chafed the meat up I asked for medium well and got well done the services is really good but I wish they would go back to to original meat, However the burgers are still good and the service is great.

This place is really great! The food is good, the service is good & the place is clean. My wife & I go there a couple of times a month and we are never disappointed.
Absolutely excellent. Staff is super tentative. When I asked what a certain tea tasted like the manager sent me home with 3 tea bags to try with no charge. The food is amazing. Probably the best sweet and sour chicken I have ever had. Only hope they get more business because they are awesome!
After reading other reviews I decided to order for my family. First of all, the online ordering was a plus, then they called me to ask how spicy I wanted the food, also a plus. We went to pick it up and the restaurant was very clean. They were very polite and asked if it was our first time there, we said it was and she threw in some almond cookies. We got the food home and served it up, and it was ALL delicious! The best was the General Tso's chicken. We also got Kung Pao Chicken, Sweet & Sour Chicken, and Almond Chicken. The Crab Rangoons were AWESOME, and the egg rolls were good. I will DEFINITELY return.

Food was good for a Typical Coney Island. However The Service SUCKED. Our waitress spent more time talking with her friends Than paying attention to her tables. Had to explain to her That a Kid's meal came with a scoop of Ice cream. On a 24.00 tab i did tip her a buck should of been a penny.
With as much business as this place has, I'm surprised that the gyros meat is not carved, but preformed slices, and at the small serving of meat on the gyros. Good fries. Service is great when business is brisk, but if you go in when it's slow, so is the service. Interesting.
One of the best coney islands to eat at around the area! The food is great and the staff is always friendly! Love it!

Excellent bread with chicken noodle soup, love the General Tsao chicken. Huge portion sizes.
Excellent Singapore noodles- I still think Red Ruby on Telegraph makes this dish the best but this is #2. The portion size is ridiculously huge and I'll be eating this until next week but it's a great value. Nobody ever seems to be eating inside - they do a bustling carry out business and it's really difficult to call ahead to order because the line is either busy or just rings and ring. Fortunately, if you order upon arrival, they are pretty quick and there are chairs to sit while waiting. If you like spicy, you need to order EXTRA hot because hot is mild. That's not necessarily a bad thing because it allows you to actually taste the curry. I also love the home made rolls they include here - they are soft, fresh and slightly sweet. I'm not one who appreciates bread or dinner rolls at all but these are other-worldly. I always devour it before I even get home.
This Chinese Restaurant is amazing hands down one of the best around! The Sweet and Sour chicken, Almond Chicken & Shrimp Foo Yung is some of the greatest I've ever had... Oh & they prices are fantastic, they serve very big plates food a nice price.

Rogala’s Bar & Grill

31831 Ford Rd
Garden City, 48135
Reviews:
I visited last night for the fourth time. Always consistently delicious. Their specials are fantastic. Thursday night is Polish, which is my favorite. Pizza is great as well as the burgers. The place is divey, but with food that good, who cares? If you want a great, unpretentious meal, check it out.
This is a review I did NOT want to write!!! My wife and I have been to Rogala's 3 times now. It started out with a 5 star the first visit, 4 star the 2nd visit, and now a 3 star!!! The 5 star visit was awesome, then they started running out of things like cheese sticks, etc... Let's focus on the 3 star.. Friday night, 8:30pm... We went in and it was 65% full when we got there. The waitress was quick, but you could tell she was having a bad night as she seemed flustered. We ordered our drinks, which came very light on ice and barely cold to which we were informed that the power went out earlier, and the ice had melted. Ok, that's fine, we completely understood and placed our order. We ordered the cheese sticks for an appetizer and this time they had them - awesome. I don't know what it is, but Rogala's has some great tasting cheese sticks, I don't know if it's the accompanying sauce or not! Then the disappointment came. I ordered the fish and chips for my main dish as I was told the fish was great. The waitress returned to the table and said they ran out of French Fries?!?!?!? WHAT?!?!?!?!? Come on now!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wasn't going to settle for Fish & Baked Potato, so I ordered the cottage fries she mentioned with the fish. Well, they absolutely sucked and the fish was deep fried a bit too long! The batter was over cooked and tough and the fish was tiny little pieces, they gave me 3. Then someone must us squeezed a lemon on each one cause it was overly sweet. The lumpy tartar sauce wasn't a hit either. :( I was completely bummed. My wife got the Club Sandwich and wasn't happy with it either. :( So, needless to say, if and when we go back, we'll stick with what we know, their cheese sticks and pizza. If they have the cheese sticks that is... I think next time the power goes out, they should just close for the night, would of saved me $30.
I had the "Oak Park" which is corned beef, coleslaw, Swiss cheese, thousand island dressing on grilled pumpernickel. It was very good. Awesome onion rings for only a buck more. I will be back.
