This Place is phenomenal! Everything is made fresh, it's delicious. I always stop by when I'm in town for an egg crest sandwich, they are really great. The decor is pleasant, but it's a no-frills type burger joint. The fries too, really addicting, so be careful there. really crispy, cooked to order, which is something I don't see much. Overall, the place is an assuming burger joint, and just really tasty!

I actually grew up in Fruitport, MI, so when coming back to town I knew exactly where I wanted to stay. I had never known anyone who stayed at this B&B, but it's the most beautiful house in the town. When I arrived, the staff (husband and wife) were extremely hospitable and friendly. They laid a special towel out for me each night so I could go out and use the hot tub. Before I went to my room, they let me know when breakfast would be served... Each morning the breakfast was mouthwatering. Multi-course, homemade food. It was so much more than I expected. My room was adorable and they refreshed it every day! Overall, this B&B was so much more than I expected. I will definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in west Michigan.

Love this local place. Good food , fast service and the staff is great. Breakfast and Lunch only. Different specials everyday .
Good food. Fast, friendly service. Huge portions. Try the home made sweet roll. It's big enough to feed 4. I can see why they say this is one of the best kept secrets in the area.
Today my wife and I ventured again to a breakfast joint we'd never visited before, the family restaurant and diner-style Suzi's Village Inn. A small/medium size place pretty well filled with folks for a weekday morning, we didn't have to wait for a table, the wait staff was quick, accurate and very friendly, and the coffee was not bad. I ordered a basic 2 eggs, hashbrowns, sausage links and toast, while my wife ordered the more interesting looking "stacker" -- an open faced sandwich with eggs, potatoes, bacon and whole wheat all covered with sausage gravy. Our eggs were cooked perfectly (mine over easy and hers over medium), which I find to be a very important sign as to whether the cooks know what they are doing. "How good are you? Cook me an egg." Potatoes were ok, gravy was better than average, bacon and sausage links were charred just enough and had great flavor, and what is listed on the menu as "homemade" bread was even better -- highly recommend paying the $.50 extra for the homemade bread option, totally worth it. Portions were hearty and large. Very few negatives here: I forgot to ask about their potatoes, which is what I usually do, so I'm just guessing that they are frozen GFS/Cisco style rather than hand-cut -- a little too uniform, and the American fries in cube form are clues there, but again I could be wrong. Bacon and sausage seemed salty to me, but again, I'm maybe more sensitive to salt than most, and I can see people saying that they are actually perfectly seasoned. There was too much sausage gravy on the stacker, overwhelming the dish, but I suspect that this is the kind of local place where they cater to what the regulars love, and in West Michigan we do love big plates of food! Overall atmosphere was quiet -- even with a couple of small children in the house -- with no background muzak, which my wife and I found very enjoyable. Dining room seemed pretty recently updated and painted. Pricing was very reasonable, and as long as you remember CASH OR LOCAL CHECK ONLY, it's not a nuisance to pay the bill. Definitely recommend this hometown style place for breakfast, and Suzi's Village Inn will go down on our list as a place we will definitely visit again.
