I enjoyed a wonderful Mexican scramble today. The portions are ample and very tasty. However today the cook was in a bit of a rush maybe, because the American fries where more just warm, than crispy. I'll ask for extra crispy next time. Nice variety of breakfast and lunch items. On of my favorites here is their pancakes. They are thin and eggy. Yummy! One down side for me is paying more for an extra fajita, salsa, sour cream. For the price of the meal seems bit of steep to charge more for condiments. All in all I recommend and enjoy the food and most of the staff.

The bisquits and gravy were lousy. The food was mediocre. I wouldn't return to this place. The sign was falling down as we came in. The entire restaurant is dilapidated. The service was OK. I think they survive on the local population. The food was gross. The vegetables were under cooked in the omelette. It was just bad a place that doesn't try.

I typically dont share my negative experience so with that in mind i have to say you better hope that you are a regular here if you want good service. I come up here every summer and i would return and send people but my server was ridiculous. I own a business, and if i was as rude to all my new customers, i would have no new customers.

Classic small town diner, conventional menu, interior could use some updates. Our food was very good, fresh ingredients, cooked and seasoned just right. I had the egg white scramble, which was tasty. Our server was very friendly, but not so attentive. We had to ask for a coffee refill several times before receiving one. I got white toast instead of the wheat I ordered, she didn't return to our table until my scramble was gone so at that point I didn't bother asking for a replacement. The food was solid so we'll definitely go back next time we're in town.

Great place for a classic breakfast and good service. They also offer some healthier and lighter choices now. Don't look for wifi, soup in bread bowls or fancy coffee choices, it is just not that kind of place! Which is great!

Limited seating, but an old-time counter to sit at and eat if the tables/booths are full. Great service, even though they were very busy. My wife had the Quiche which had a bowl of fruit & their homemade orange bread. (yum-see pic). I had the 2 x 2, which was excellent. Recommended for breakfast in the Spring Lake/Ferrysburg area.

Good food decent prices. The food tastes like someone cares about it. i have eaten here over 20 times and i have not had bad food. i have seen a number of people who mention it has limited seating. That is an asset if you are friendly. Just talk to them you may make a new friend.

Ate here for the first time within the past month. Service was fast and the food is excellent. Breakfast menu has a nice variety. Will definitely return. I agree with the other reviewers that the hashbrowns are great and so are their pancakes! Thanks for the good service!

Excellent local hangout. Serves just breakfast on Sundays. I had the stuffed hash browns and my partner had some kind of omelet. Check it.
