The layout is very nice, a bit small, but they are in a shopping plaza after all. I had the salmon fillets, which was cooked well but for $18, I expected more than four shrimp and over-cooked risotto. The wife had the steak and potatoes, which is essentially sliced steak atop over-seasoned fries. The steak was good though. It sees to be trying too hard, on one hand, the ambience and presentation of the food is well done but then you have a VERY attentive (read: creepy) waiter bringing you homemade potato chips with reduced vinaigrette while waiting for your food. They just opened a few weeks ago so i hope they figure out what Raymo's is exactly. We both agreed that we probably won't be returning anytime soon for dinner - maybe to meet up for drinks.

This was my first visit and the only real complaint I had was the menu was to small. I would have to guess about 10 or less entrees! No steak, no chicken, no pork and not much else to pick from. Some of us at the table could not find anything to eat at all and had to pick a appetizer as a main course. I might go back but only after I see a few more positive reviews here on Yelp !

We had guests from Toronto where fine dining is plentiful so we wanted to have a really nice meal and entertainment. We were seated right away, our drinks were brought quickly, but that was the end of the good service. Service was SLOW. The drink my husband ordered was wrong so the waitress said she would take it off the bill; she did not. Three of us ordered the whitefish over linguine. The fish pieces were about 3" x 3" but fabulous. The linguine was bland and boring. No bread, salad,or anything else. The drinks were $10 so each round was $40. For $17 a dinner, two small pieces of fish is unacceptable. Our other choice was The Cork in Flint, nothing here to bring us back - wish we would have taken them downtown!

First trip to Raymo's & was suggested to me by friends. Love the intimate, well decorated location. Found the prices reasonable for the high quality food (delicious combination of ingredients cannot be found in many places). Tried the avocado bruschetta, roast pork, crispy tofu stir fry and the burger.... all were shared & all were delicious! Timing of food coming from kitchen could be improved a bit & attentiveness of servers (refilling our drinks) could be better, but minor for a startup. We'll be back! Best of luck. Liked the entertainment venue & how they addressed comments about tough to see the entertainment by putting in a tv screen with camera of band.. nice touch.

The food was excellent. I enjoyed the tapas style dining, the dishes were served one at a time, which kept things interesting. The service is great and the wait staff is attentive. The atmosphere is very nice and stylish. The food all had a unique taste, even the house salad! We had the lasagna (it was on special), the burger, the shrimp basket, the avocado bruschetta, and the chocolate pudding. It was all delicious! I would recommend Raymo's to anyone looking for a unique dining experience. I look forward to dining there again.

I had high hopes for Raymo's, but was really disappointed. It is super loud in there and it was hard talking to the people at my own table. My Mom ordered soup, salad and then entree. The salad came AFTER the main course. She didn't eat it. I ordered the filet and crab cake. The filet I ordered medium-well was bleeding and the crab cake was gross. My [arents entrees (steak and steak tips w/fries) were no better. They also charged $7 for a beer. I lived in Washington, DC for the past 8 years and drinks weren't that expensive. The manager did give me a free dessert for the steak being cooked wrong and I ordered the chocolate mousse. That mousse was hands-down the best dessert ever- only positive about this place. We didn't stay for the music, but the place is set up in a weird way, where there is a wall in between the dining area and the stage, so if you are eating, you can't see anything. Our bill (for 3 people) was over $125 with tip. Maybe it's just because the place is new and they are working out the bug,s but I would never go back here.

I LOVE RAYMO'S. They have a great menu, great bar and the live music is a great change here in Fenton. Marc has taken a concept from his head and made it a reality. The service is friendly and professional. I think it's great to see the chef/owner come out from the kitchen and meet his guests. I will be going to Raymo's whenever possible. I also like how active the FB page is. Thanks Raymo's for giving Fenton something we've needed for a long time.

The reopening of Raymo's Dining & Entertainment is definitely exciting for those of us living in the Fenton area. This establishment has been known for its gourmet style food and its relaxing atmosphere. The new Raymos offers a twist on the old bar burger. Actually taking that burger up a notch to uniqueness. The chicken burger and shrimp burger were definitely a pleasant surprise to palate and there are more to choose from!! Thankfully, Chef Marc knows how to keep his loyal patrons happy and has kept some of his original masterful creations on his new menu! Thank you Chef Marc and welcome back!

I met some friends there for some very tasty drinks and good food. While I enjoyed my time there (food was great, drinks were great, service was great), there are two things to criticize: 1) The music was VERY loud... like 87 decibels loud. That's just crazy. Live music should be in the background of table conversation, not pounding into my head. 2) When we got our bill (ours was for just 2 people), there was a 20% tip added into the bill AND a tip line was provided on the receipt. Unacceptable. I know that large parties sometimes have a tip built into the bill, but we were just 2 people! Also, if you're going to build in a tip AND provide a tip line on the receipt, then only include a 10-15% tip so that I can add in what I feel is appropriate for the level of service I receive. Our bill for a total of four drinks and a plate of french fries was $47 (including their 20% tip). My companion paid and added another 20% tip because he didn't see that the tip was built into the tab already. I heard about this error later. Now he doesn't want to go back because he feels (rightly so) that this is inappropriate for a party of 2. It's a shame. So, if you go here to enjoy their nice food and tasty drinks, be sure to bring some earplugs and make sure you read your bill carefully. UPDATE (6/19/2013): The owner contacted me to follow up with these issues. It is NOT their policy to include a tip for small tables, so clearly there was an error made. I'll update this review after another visit. I really enjoyed the food and drinks, so I'm hoping the volume level can be brought down to a more enjoyable level. I'm impressed by his thoughtfulness and timeliness in his response.

Italian sausage pasta was good, very flavorful. The chicken curry dish was a decent stir fry, would not order that again. Portions were small, left us wanting more. Wish we had ordered an appetizer. The service was good, friendly.
