Diabetics at Whataburger

Diabetics need to be a bit cautious while dining at Whataburger. Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. Great Bloody Mary's, great place stop after the winery and cider tours on Sunday's! They have great mimosas for a buck, $2 for the Bloodies.

Food was mediocre. Perch was severly overcooked. Only 3 pieces in basket. Cole Slaw was only a 1oz cup, but I did get a lot of fries. $10.95 is over priced for that. My wife had a Portabella Burger. That looked good and was a reasonable portion. Service sucked. Very slow. 2.5 hours on a Wednesday night when restaurant was not full. No appetizers, no salads, no desserts, just slow. Could not even get water

Not like it used to be, had the fried chicken, awful. Burnt over fried and greasy! Very disappointed

Great Patty Melt! Perfect. Onion Rings made exactly the way the should be. Bite into a ring, the onion does not pull out. Cold beer. Waitstaff friendly and fast. Got our food in no time. Steady customers in and out while we were there. Everyone left full.

Food is good, staff members are great, but prices are high for what you get. Mostly older people in there when we went. Get the feeling that the people who rave about it are the locals that have just been going there forever so it's just what they know and love. We just didn't think it was worth the prices.

Cute place! Probably more like 3 to 3.5 stars on the food, but we bumped it up to 4 for the charm. Crowd skewed heavily geriatric, and most were longtime locals, including the quaint live band that started up just as we were leaving. The kitchen was a bit slow, even during off-peak hours, so the What Not definitely wouldn't be a good choice if you were in a hurry, but it was perfect for a leisurely early supper on a foggy, gray Sunday. The decor has kind of a VFW or Lodge vibe that probably hasn't changed much in 40 years. There was nothing remarkable about the entrees or sides, but all our meals tasted good, and the vegetable medley was surprisingly colorful and al dente, in an environment where you might expect veggies to be bland and boiled. Also, our personable waiter managed to keep his cool and stay out of the weeds like a pro, despite the fact that he seemed to be covering a double section.

Overall, I like this restaurant. When I was told to go here over 5 yrs ago, friends recommended the fried chicken. So, every time I revisit this place, that is all I order. My friends ordered the same thing as well. Apparently, everyone loved it as there were only bones left on the plate. I don't know what it is but the chicken is cooked perfectly. Love the batter used to crisp up the chicken. Getting two sides is quite nice. I ordered a baked potato and zucchini. Having the live entertainment really helped provided that local flavor to the experience. If there, definitely try the Fried Chicken!!!

The place to go to feel young and pretty. I don't think the place has changed in the last hundred years but that's part of the charm. Good food and drinks and great entertainment on Saturday nights. Great for families.

I had the salmon which was excellent with fresh vegetables. It was excellent and reasonably priced. It was Saturday night and they had a band. Everyone I dined with like their meal too (including the fried chicken). This is country cooking in rural Michigan at its best. And a great bargain and great service.

Went in for a late lunch. We were one of four groups in the entire place. We did not see our waitress much, our food came out cold and the clam chowder had sand in it. On top of that it was expensive for how much food you got. There are much better places to eat in the area.

Good casual dinner spot. Love nights they have music, always nice tunes, nothing over the top. I do love their greasy fried chicken, but yes it has grease. Coconut cake is definitely worth saving a bite for. Lovely local flare in a touristy area.

The food is so-so, but it looks so cool from the outside that you might want to go in and eat something fried anyway. It seems like mostly locals eat here, so at least you're not with the (other) tourists.

My partner and I went here for breakfast after Kalico Kitchen fell way short for us. Breakfast wasn't spectacular, but it was good--I got the impression that they only recently started doing breakfasts. Our server was friendly and took care of us quickly. Next time, we'll try dinner there.

This place talks about being known for their burgers, so I had to try one. We were there on a Sunday afternoon, and they weren't too busy. The waitress was friendly and attentive. However, the burger didn't live up to the hype. My first sign of trouble is that they charge for basically ALL toppings on the burger. By the time you've built a deluxe burger the price has climbed to where you'd expect something great. However, there wasn't anything special about it - it was still just a greasy burger. OK, but I've had much better. Skip this place, there are much better places to eat around Fennville and Saugatuck.

The What Not is a great little spot where many locals go to get away from the tourists. You can usually get a table on a friday or saturday evening and the food is always good. We went again last night, my wife had the pulled pork, I had a patty melt and my daughter had the chicken strip basket. All were excellent! Dinner was topped off with a slice of chocolate coconut cake which was just as good as everything else. My only complaint is that they get groups of smokers and there is no real seperation between the smokers and the non-smokers. If you are lucky to be seated on the "porch" the windows may be open to allow some fresh air in.

We went there for breakfast on a Sunday. They had an ok spread for their buffet, but nothing amazing. The food was a good, basic, cheap breakfast. It has an ambiance that reminds me of many food places in Western Pennsylvania. I enjoyed the simple breakfast, but probably wouldn't go back again. If you are looking for a cheap and simple breakfast in the area, this wouldn't be a bad place to stop into.

We have been there for lunch twice and both times the food was excellent
