I was impressed when I walked in. Very nice, cozy, almost romantic atmosphere... I ordered fish and chips, which looked fantastic. I had a very nice salad, with a bright, piquant italian dressing. The fish and Chips were... how do I put it... "meh." Not bad, but not great. You can get better fish and chips in downtown Farmington for much less. Which sums up my feeling of this place. I was basically "meh" when there was no steak on the menu. My Dad was finding ads in the local paper and flyers on the fence for "prime rib @ Page's!" constantly for the last several months, which was why we went... yet... no prime rib on menu. So what the heck were they advertising? Not nice! The wait staff was helpful and friendly. (UPDATE - 6/6/12) I visited Page's again on Wednesday, they day they have prime rib. It was quite excellent and gets this place another star. It wasn't the best prime rib I've ever had, but for the price? It was excellent. $7.95 for a prime rib dinner... dude! (UPDATE 2-5-2013) It's just too darn loud in here. There is a buzz from the TV sets that is so annoying, it left me feeling ill. Just to make the point concrete: I am deaf. I have a cochlear implant. I can barely HEAR... but the sound created by the mass of TV's set on "NUCLEAR OVERDRIVE" overrides any of the food notes above. Too bad. I won't come back unless the volume issues are solved...

Was greeted at the door by one of the cooks having a cigarette right in front of the door. Waitress was very pushy to get out order even though we had already ordered appetizers Appetizer came out minutes before our dinners My wife got the correct food while i received nachos when i ordered a burger After getting the correct food my burger was raw in the middle. Took forever for waitress to come back to check on us even though we where one of maybe 5 couples at the restaurant. Then seemed upset when we asked for change back when the meal was $29 and we paid with 2x 20s (we are not giving over a 30% tip on horrible service) Food was decent but i wouldn't recommend this restaurant due to their service.

I love this place! I have yet to have anything off of the menu that I didn't like, I enjoy the dark loungy atmosphere & the staff is mostly very friendly. Their burgers are fantastic & my friend just adores their prime rib. I tend to get the filet tip caesar sandwich when I'm here because it's just so damn good! I like the fact that their menu has everything from pizza to Mexican so it's a good place to take a group of people. You can print 20% off coupons from their website that are good every day but Friday & they also have a frequent diner card as well. I suggest it to anyone in the area!

We go here for lunch and sit at the bar because we like Barb, the bartender. Their food is hit or miss. Hamburgers are good and they sometimes have a 6 oz. on special. The clam chowder is tasty but gritty. I had a porterhouse steak last night that was disappointing, but the salad and baked potato were fine. The vegetable was surprisingly good: haricots verts cooked al dente. The carrot slices that came with the beans were a little too underdone for my liking. Stick with the burgers, pizza or Mexican and the drinks and you'll have a good time.

Page's was probably 3.5 stars. Nothing blew us away but it wasn't bad either. It's a good place if you and your dinner company are craving different things as they have a pretty wide array of types of cuisine (American, Mexican, Italian, pizza). Overall I would probably come back but it's probably not a place that I'll be craving.

Not bad, very busy on a Friday night but service was good as well as company. Typical bar food. Live music is decent.

I've been in here a couple of times, and have had pretty positive experiences each time. It seems a bit dive-y when you walk in, but the place is pretty damned good. I REALLY like their burgers - can't speak for anything else because that's all I've ever ordered here! The service is always super quick and friendly, the other patrons also seem to be having a good time, and I like that people don't look at me weird when I yell at the TV during the Wings game....

I"m not a fan of sports bar restaurants with a kazillion big screen tvs but thankfully the sound was turned down on these when we were there. The big claim to fame seems to be the art work on the walls (pencil drawings of old time movie stars done by a local artist). We had burgers which were pretty decent and the fries weren't bad.

We frequent Page's rather often (and we're younger: 29 and 31)-- and here's some things you need to understand about the place: 1. It's an old-school bar and sorta dive-y (but we think that's part of its charm). Get over the decor. If you can't get past it, this place isn't for you anyway. 2. If you want an authentic "Page's" experience, sit at the bar and ONLY at the bar (sorry, servers, but it's true). 3. The food is usually pretty great -- we can vouch for their burgers, pizza, salads, and fish 'n' chips. 4. If you're not an asshole, people are nice in return. Oftentimes we'll ask the bartenders to turn on a hockey game or turn up the volume, and they don't so much as blink. The problems with Page's? It can be wildly inconsistent. Some nights, the food is REALLY good, and some nights, it's mostly "meh." (Which sucks, because we constantly recommend this place to friends who can appreciate a bar like this.) Some nights the place is open as advertised, and some nights it closes several hours early. More consistency, please! Don't make us look dumb in front of our friends. :) The other problem? Page's has a GIANT screen up front which COULD be used to their advantage for sports-watching. Instead, there's a table right up against it, and it's used for servers to hang out at, wrap silverware, and otherwise stand around. And you know what? No one wants an up-close-and-personal look at server sidework blocking arguably the best TV in the place. Please move your staff! It ruins the atmosphere and patrons feel uncomfortable and in the way, when in fact it is the other way around (meaning the staff and thus management should feel uncomfortable for being in the way and making us watch them roll silverware and drink out of styrofoam cups all night). If these things could be addressed, I can guarantee people would change their mind about Page's.

Actually worse than cowly's. The decor has been compared to a strip club with a wall of mirrors in a dimly lit room with 70's swivel low rider chairs

My wife and I went to have salad and a pizza. We split a Greek salad. While I was eating my salad, I found a dime at the bottom of my plate. My wife and I were so disgusted, we told the manager and left the establishment. We will never go back to Pages again!

A friend and I sat up at the bar, had some fantastic martinis and the seafood bruschetta. It was a fantastic night to start bar hopping!

I had been to Page's many years ago and was not excited to go back but when I saw that they have $9.95 Prime Rib on Wednesdays I thought I would give it a try! HUGE mistake! This is only the price if you purchase a beverage (which I did not want) and the cheapest beverage is $2.50. In addition, the side that comes with the prime rib is french fries. If you want a veggie instead, it's gonna set you back $3. So, the Prime Rib was no bargain at all. On top of that, the Prime Rib was small and fatty. False advertising is reason alone to not support this business. In addition, the ambiance is non-existent.

It's got potential. The food is always good and the burgers make me very happy, but the pop is flat for my liking. The complaint for me is that the service is really slow and for lunch rush I would think the waitstaff would be a lot more attentive. They were too busy sitting at the bar chatting and this is not the first time this has happened. The food does seem to take a long time to come out, but like I said, it's always good. Atmosphere is questionable. It's clear that the retired locals love this place. No shame in that. The bartender knows the names of her customers, but just like the soda, her personality falls flat. I just don't feel that they cater to a faster paced crowd perhaps.

For those of you whom are not regulars at Page's... let me give you the low down: Monday's are half-off. Wednesday is PRIME RIB WEDNESDAY. Yes, there are advertisements in the papers - but I'm almost 100% positive it says WEDNESDAY on it. It's a special run for $7.95 plus purchase of a beverage. Thursday is Mexcian night. They run specials on Coronas and Margaritas as well. Friday is fish, as well as the start to Steak Out Weekends. Saturday and Sunday currently because it's the summer is Backyard BBQ. Tuesday's are Asian specials, and currently during the Tiger's season you get triple rewards and a chance to win Tiger Den tickets.

The place is alright. Its nothing special. I think the food is average, but way overpriced for what your getting. They need to do a better job in cleaning there beer lines.

I have been to Page's a few times, mostly to catch a game with friends. I have been a fan of the all-you-eat fish and chips (friends ask me where I put it cuz I'm so petite...lol) as well as the pizza. The service is good but it does get a little smoky at times. Good for the old and young alike. If you're looking for a band here, keep going. It's an old-fashioned Sports Bar with good food.

I've been going to Pages for years. The food is good and the service comes with a smile. The best Nachos I have ever eaten come from Pages. I thought the pizza was a bit bland but the salads , soups and the chicken are excellent. I would go there more if it wasn't quite so smokey.

"Eek! Methinks not", sums it up. I live and work in Farmington/Farmington Hills, and I was really hoping this would be a good place to eat and have a few drinks. There are so few restaurants in the area, but unfortunately, Page's is not worth visiting. We decided to try it because of a 20% off coupon that came with a local newspaper. The "20% Comp" was not worth it! I stopped in a few weeks ago for dinner with a friend. The interior and decor were okay, the seats were comfortable, and I don't mind TVs (it is supposed to be a bar, after-all), but the food wasn't good, the service was slow, and everything was very over priced. We had the chips & salsa appetizer, and the chips were way too salty, and the salsa was bland. Our pizza wasn't very tasty, either, but I would have been more forgiving in my review if the the overall experience at Page's wasn't ruined by the INCREDIBLY OVERPRICED drinks that we had. We came in on Mexican night, and a sign advertised that house margaritas were $2 off. I have worked in bars, and have had my share of margaritas in my day, and if you would have told me that this nothing-special-restaurant normally charged $9.75 for a house margarita, I wouldn't have believed you - but, sadly, it's true! That is ridiculous for a house drink. When we got the check and I realized how expensive the drinks were I was astounded and asked our waitress. Her solution was to offer us a frequent visitor card that collects points to use toward future purchases after you've spent a certain amount of money. Why should I need to drop $100 in this place to get $10 off the next visit? Why can't they simply provide great food for good value? I am a member of some other restaurants rewards programs (Max & Erma's, for example), and not only do you get what you pay for, they offer special treats each month. It doesn't feel like a chore to earn rewards at Max & Erma's. I got the impression that this was a family run type place (the staff weren't very good at their jobs, and there were teenagers wandering around doing random things), and that the only reason Page's is able to stay in business is because they charge the few regulars that they have an arm & a leg. The crowd for dinner was definitely older, so maybe Page's has become complacent with their efforts to make flavorful food at reasonable prices. Please, please, please - do yourself a favor, and if you are thinking of eating here, go down the road to John Cowley instead. The food is priced similarly, and at John Cowley's you'll get great flavor, creative dishes, and reasonably priced alcoholic beverages.

Stay away! This place has been going down hill for last few years. The menu probably has a third of the items crossed out. Atmosphere is so so. We swore off this place a year or so ago but heard they remodeled and decided to give it another try... What a mistake. It looks like they got new chairs and flickering candles but that's about it as far as we could see. They were out of 4 of the 6 features for the night by 8pm. We ordered one of the remaining items to find out that was also not available. Unfortunately, I bet they will close their doors soon.

Pizza, burgers, Mexican, fish and chips...all are excellent. Great full service bar. Lunch, dinner or appetizers will all satisfy your appetite. Just don't drink all the Absinthe.
