What an incredible find (thanks fellow Yelpers)! We ate breakfast here this morning and everything about this place is awesome. The food was delicious, the servers were friendly and the entire concept of the restaurant is remarkable. These folks are a true example of being the hands and feet of Christ. The prices are suggested donations. If you are hungry but can't afford to pay, it is okay. They'll even give you additional food to take home. Of course, if you can pay - you should. And as a fellow Yelper suggested, maybe give a little more to help cover your brother or sister in need. Keep up the great work!!! Oh... cash only!!

Awesome breakfast at this small cafe. Excellent food. Large portions and great variety. Homemade cherry jam is a trademark at this establishment. Menu has "suggested donations" for dishes served. If you cannot pay the suggested price, the cafe will take whatever you can afford. Also, if you'd like to contribute more than the suggested price, that is greatly appreciated as well. Fast service and courteous staff make this a must to dine at when in Ellsworth, MI.

This is a nonprofit that was opened by the local ministry when the local for-profit restaurant could not stay opened. Only the cooks are paid, the rest of the staff are volunteers. And the food is great! Lots of locally-sourced food (great wheat English muffins) and fair-trade coffee! Donation request is incredibly low and affordable as well. Great food and for a good cause to boot. We drove 25 miles to get there and it was totally worth it! Would not hesitate to make that drive again.

Very well prepared food and in large quantities all for a donation. Their suggested donation amounts are very low too. If you're in the Ellsworth/East Jordan area you don't want to miss this place.

This place is a community restaurant that is a non profit. The idea gets five stars. The food is above average and gets 4 stars. Food portions are generous and get 5 stars. The servjce only gets 3 stars though you can wait 30 mins to order for no reason. Still a nice average of 4 stars.
