Such a great place to eat! I have been for breakfast several times and never let down. Prices are fair and the staff is so friendly. Eating in, or grabbing a quick breakfast sandwich on the go, you will not be let down. Very friendly to kids too. Oh and their bacon, is BEYOND DELICIOUS! Gotta get the bacon!

Waited over an hour and food was still not there. Kept blaming size of the grill as a reason. Never an apology. Left before food arrived. Don't go there on weekend mornings. They cannot handle the crowd.

Good friendly service. Regular decent breakfast. Good coffee. Had a olive burger and it was good with a decent amount of fries. Fries cost a little extra, but worth it they where good. And they did have Heinz ketchup. That is always a good thing.

As other reviewers have reported Vicki's is a small town diner with friendly service and good prices. The interior is your standard family restaurant, basic tables fill the space as well as a counter. Two deer hang on the wall to watch diners as they eat. I went with a friend and her young daughter for breakfast. The waitress brought us a small kids bin with cards and crayons/coloring book for her daughter to use which was thoughtful. The menu is what you would expect, standard breakfast and lunch items. Our table had eggs, hash browns, bacon, biscuits and gravy and pancakes. My eggs came over medium as ordered. I think that the pancakes were a bit better than average, otherwise everything was standard good. I noticed another reviewer said that their bacon was greasy, which was surprising as ours was not. In fact we thought it was baked as it was flat and there was very little grease. This may be a change or a different cook.

A hidden gem! I stumbled upon Vicky's by chance and so glad I did. Great food and friendly service at an amazing value. If you're looking for "where the locals go" this is the place - for good reason!

Great food and service. Opens earlier than most but they're ready for you. The man making my food came out to say hi. I'll be back!

I would not recommend this place, even though the staff is very friendly and the locals love it. The food took over 20 minutes to arrive (scrambled eggs with bacon, country potatoes and pancakes) the eggs were okay, but the potatoes were drenched in grease and lacked seasoning and the bacon was soggy and dripping with grease. The pancakes were thin, flat and tasteless. It was not worth the wait, but very affordable if you are on a tight budget. Would I return? Definitely not. Sorry Vickie, but local flavor or not, the wait was way too long and the food was disgustingly greasy.

Fresh food, modest prices and great service make this a go-to place for breakfast, lunch - and during the summertime - dinner in Saugatuck-Douglas, where most restaurants concentrate more on aggressive pricing than the quality of their fare. Unpretentious and down to earth, Vicki's serves all the comfort-food classics with uncommon elan. The food here is special, because it is real. :: Breakfast: A spinach-feta omelette was prepared with quality cheese and fresh baby spinach. Sunnyside-up eggs arrived sunnyside up. Pancakes were light and fluffy. :: Lunch: The patty melt, which I consider to be the gold standard in calibrating a diner's bona fides, was perfectly executed with a hand-formed burger and the right balance of onions and Swiss cheese. It was accompanied (for a modest up-charge) by must-have, crunchy, melt-in-your-mouth, sweet-potato fries, which were served in a basket lined with a reproduction of the help-wanted section of a newspaper in Lancashire, England (see pic). The basket liner tickled my fancy as a former ink-stained kvetch. But this is a place that even iPhone lovers can love. Go. Eat. Enjoy. P.S. If you are nice to Vicki and her mom, they might even give you a few newspaper liners to put under your sandwiches at home.

A local favorite place for breakfast and lunch. Two of my favorites is the olive burger and the breakfast tacos.

If they are busy and you are in a hurry go somewhere else. Sorry your grill is so small. Maybe not so many tables if you can't cook for that many people. The woman who appeared to be in charge was beyond rude and very dramatic.

I frequent this area for the past 28 years and have eaten in a lot of places. It was about 11: 30 on Sunday 8/3/14 my first time in. It was packed and 1 table left. The staff was accommodating and attentive during the lengthy wait for food. The food is good for the price paid and thats about it. I would go back but I may check out something else before?

Was in the area on vacation and stumbled upon Vicki's Diner. The service was friendly and very pleasant. I got an omelette with country fried steak inside. It was outstanding. Everyone on our group was very happy with their food. The prices are also very reasonable. I highly recommend Vicki's if you are in the Saugatuck area. It was soooo good that we returned 2 days later before we left town.

Great food, amazing service, and very affordable! What more can one ask for? On our way up to Holland for the Fourth of July, we stumbled upon this little gem just outside of Saugatuck. Everyone was very welcoming and the atmosphere was small town friendly. I had the french toast, and my boyfriend the bacon, eggs, toast, hash browns, and pancakes. All was fresh, delicious, and just what we were looking for. If you like cosy Michigan beach towns with that classic homestyle diner flavor, this is the place for you.
