I couldn't use Yelp's directions to get here the other day. I was sitting in the restaurant, but unable to check in because Yelp shows the restaurant too far away. For the record, it is located between Michigan Avenue and Marvin, across the street from Truck City and just north of Gold Star Market. This is a trucker's diner, complete with a dirt parking lot for everything from straight trucks, to 8-leggers and Michigan Trains - it is an industrial diner, pure and simple. The inside is dated, windows are sometimes clean (but honestly, with the truck traffic going by outside, it's nearly impossible to keep them clean). Cash only. It's been a while since I visited, but the food has always been good here. I wanted to order a featured dinner from the daily specials, but when I asked if the mashed potatoes were real, the answer wasn't to my liking. Instead, my quarter-pounder with cheese - deluxe, really hit the spot for me at lunch. I can't speak to the condition of the women's rest room, but here's a hint about the men's - don't venture in there if you don't have to. 'Nuff said. With not many places in the area available to park a truck during mealtimes, this restaurant fits the bill. Breakfast serves, starting at 0430 during the week.

This is a little diner on Wyoming across from the plants. The owner cooks everyday, the waitstaff is great - and you just can't get a better value for your Dollar. The chicken fingers are REAL chicken, and come enough times, they'll have your order waiting for you on the counter. My husbands a truck driver and never leaves hungry when he stops in. Don't expect anything fancy, but do leave happy!

I love this place! But let's not make it out to be anything that it isn't - it's a truck stop - but it's good food at an amazing price. This is the real deal, nothing fancy, cash only, semi's idling outside and waitresses from central casting, and right in the middle of Dearborn! I get the hot meatloaf sandwich - you get greenbeans and mashed potatoes and gravy - it reminds me of high school - and $4.75 out the door! So good comfort food.
