I work right around the corner and I've visited this location on MANY occasions. The service is always stellar and lightening fast. They truly have a great bunch of Waitresses there! And the Manager though intense, is friendly and truly aims to please! The restaurant has nice lighting and is super clean. They're always packed and their meal deals are of great value. Their Lemon Rice soup is ALWAYS plentiful and full of chicken. I get their Kerby Melt and substitute grilled chicken for the fried tenders. It's amazing! Don't forget the ranch, it's so good that you may want to drink it out of the (syrup dispenser) bottle. lol! Do yourself a favor and skip the Leo's around the corner, that is unless you like getting a beard in your sandwiches! YUCK!!!!!!!

Pretty good inexpensive restaurant. The service was quick. The yero salad was massive and easily shared between two people (which we did) It had the most feta cheese I have ever seen on a salad. It included a warm pita which I made a gyro for my hubby. It had beets, chick peas, cucumber, red onion and tomatoes. The dressing was served in a self serve canister similar to what most places serve maple syrup in for breakfast pancakes. I thought it was a nice touch since I usually feel like the dressing is lacking on salads...i like lots of dressing. My only complaint is the dressing was not home made. We also shared a delicious strawberry sundae. Not a bad lunch Date for only $15

It's a Coney island, so four stars for Kerby's doesn't mean it's a nice restaurant. It means it's a four star coney island. My Coney dog was good. They use hotdogs with skins, which are my favorite. The chili/coney sauce tastes good. The chili cheese fries weren't my favorite because the fries they use aren't very good. They're small, with many of them overdone and chewy, and those that don't fit that bill are greasy. As long as you put on enough chili and ketchup, they're edible. The floors are greasy, like most places of it's type. The bathrooms at Kerby's were well-maintained. Finally, the wait staff provided great service and were friendly with customers and their fellow employees.

Ordered a small Greek salad to go for $5.25. What I got was a bunch of wet lettuce sprinkled with a miniscule amount of feta, and topped with literally two slices of tomato, two beets (no thanks), ONE black olive, and ONE pepperoncino. I'm sorry, but if I had wanted virtually nothing more than a head of iceberg lettuce, I could've purchased one at 1/6 the price from the Kroger across the street. I even told them to keep the accompanying pita since I'm gluten-intolerant. So, instead of, perhaps, compensating me by going a bit heavier on the toppings, the cook decided to go light on the items worth eating. I will say this, though, the lettuce was fresh! I guess the cook thought a big dish of soggy, albeit fresh, lettuce served with bland Greek dressing was what this customer came in for. Is it any wonder people don't eat healthy when $5 can't even buy you a decent salad!!

If you are in the Dearborn area and are looking for a quick in and out lunch but want to skip the drive-thru, I recommend Kerby's. The prices are consistent with other Coney Islands in the area and the staff is pretty friendly. Food and service is usually pretty quick, so again, if you are in a pinch Kerby's can get you on your way.

Ok place. Good enough food, efficient service. It is very noisy though.

Haven eaten here many times with no issue, but this time... well, I'm without words (and nearly losing my lunch at the same time). Went out with my co-workers for lunch and ordered a blue cheese & bacon burger with fries and everything came out ok. I'm not a fan of the extras they offer (lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, etc) so I left that to the side. While I was busy answering some emails/texts on my phone while I was eating, I thought all was well. After finishing up my meal/texting/emailing, I was finishing up my fries when I looked over to the pile of extras (lettuce, tomatoes, pickles) and I immediately froze and felt nauesous to my core: there was no less than 2-3 strands of 12" dark brown hair laying amongst the toppings. Now let me be clear. Nobody in the dining group of ours (4 people, including myself) had dark brown hair, let alone LONG dark brown hair. I immediately called the server over and asked her if she could look at my plate. She took about 5-8 seconds before she realized what had happened and took it away. In hindsight, I should have taken a picture but at the time I was so nauseous that I just need it OUT OF THERE. About 5-6 minutes later, the server came back out and requested my check that had been previously laid out on the table. Obviously, the meal was comp'ed. As I walked out, I noticed three things: the first was that NONE of the cooks had long hair... and they were all guys. So it wasn't a cook. Secondly, there was one woman working near the line/kitchen drop off (where the food is passed from the kitchen to the servers) who was not only giving me the hairy eyeball (pun aside, totally appropriate), but seemed to be taking repeated sips out of what appeared to be a condiment/ranch cup. I have no idea what she was drinking/eating/whatever, that that was more of a side note to the fact that she was glaring at me SPECIFICALLY. It could be a complete coincidence, but given the layout/location of the hair on the sandwich, I think that I had SOME right be even remotely suspicious. The point was this: at NO point did the manager EVER come over to apologize, explain what may/may not have happened, or to personally comp the bill. While I understand that this is not Opus One by any means... come on. REALLY? At this point, I will be contacting whatever official agencies/entities that may exist and spreading the word about my experience. Was this an isolated event? Yes. Have I eaten there at least 50 times before with no incident? Yes. Does this single event change my opinion about the chain, will it prevent me from ever going there again and will I know dissect every part of my meals at restaurants from now on? Absolutely. Sorry, Kerby's... you're 100% dead to me. (Lastly: The 2-star rating is not a 1-star rating only because I've had no problem with them before and because I don't feel that everyone will share this same experience that I have had today. But you know what? I wouldn't WANT anyone to have it, either. It's just... disgusting. Period.)

This was my first time at this location, and I found it alright. My mom and I went for breakfast to check it out. It was very clean and nice and the service was acceptable. I got a breakfast wrap and my ma got the breakfast plate. My food was tasty, but my mom's standard breakfast looked boring and slightly greasier than needed. Mom and I also shared a plate of pancakes and I think they were the highlight of the meal. Yum.
