This place went from 4 to 5 stars to 1 star... I live literally right down the road and our family has owned this house for 30 years and never had we gone to this restaurant and had the worst portion size and been lied to. So I normally order the pot roast. This time not only was there barely any meat or gravy but there was a half cup of potatoes the cheapest food to make since it is made from a box obviously. Oh and did I mention there was barely any gravy on Pot Roast... Then I made an to go order the cinnamon roll French toast and a side of corn beef hash hoping that maybe this would be better. Guess what they brought out... Only 1 slightly old and dry cinnamon roll cut in half not battered not cooked with no syrup and the portion of corn beef hash was at best 1/4 cup size. Did you know they use the kind from a can that you can buy for about a $1 at the store across the street? So they tried to charge $2.99 for $0.15 worth of food. The so called "bigger cinnamon roll", which I was told why they do not give you 4 pieces like it says on the menu, you can also buy those for less than a $1 else where. So they tried to charge me $6.99 for $1.00 worth of food because it was NOT battered and NOT cooked but sliced and placed in a box... I refused to take the food or pay that outrageous price. I can already tell this place will be closing soon as I was told "We are sorry there is a new owner". Anyone who knows business knows that if you rip off your customers they will NOT come back. My whole family will NEVER be returning again!

This restaurant is a decent place to go to for a late night dinner. I got the cod fish dinner, cajun style. I got the chili that came with it and it was pretty good. The cajun seasoning was kind of light so I added some salt and pepper, which developed more flavor. It was cooked just right, not overcooked or under cooked. The mash potato with gravy was pretty good as well. Not bad overall for a first time experience. Will probably go there again.

Great breakfast here! Great service! The owner "Eddie" even came over and chatted with us for a few minutes. The service was a little slower than we anticipated but everything came out perfect.

As I pulled into Archie's parking lot around midnight on my last visit there, the signboard out front read "Seniors Night". However, entering Archie's any time after 11pm and this is no longer a welcoming to a 60+ crowd -- it's more like a personal invitation to every high schooler with a car. My friends and I came in for some drinks and dessert, and at 27 we were easily older than everyone there, including our waitress. Tangents aside, Archie's is a solid late night spot and just generally a solid diner. Their menu is huuuuge, food tastes good/great depending on what you get, and there's lots of cushy booth seating. Awesome omelettes and yummy pie!

Horrible service, Waitress never got refills, manager had to come and grab them for us, Tiny portions. $10 for a kid size stir fry and they didn't have neither blue cheese for a salad dressing not sweet and sour sauce for the tiny stir fry. Second refill never made it to the table either, the waitress was too busy txting!! I will never go back to that place...

This place has definitely made a change for the better! Updated menu with new food to try. Loved the new deli switzel sandwich along with the pretzel sticks and cheese. They are definitely cleaning house when it comes to staff. I was greeted with a friendly host and had exceptional service. This is not the same archies i went to last year. Would definitely recommend trying one of there many breakfast, lunch, or dinner specials. Will definitely be back for more good food and great service :)

Been here a few times. Usually without a problem. Tonight I ordered the cod fish dinner with lemon and pepper. The cup of soup that came with the dinner was only half full. It bugged me a little bit but oh well. The fish was quite good. Flavor full and not overcooked. I got to the baked potato I ate the inside first. When I got to the outside, I took a bite and it was obvious it was never washed much less scrubbed. Gritty and dirty. In fact as I was explaining it to the waitress, it was still gritty and could taste dirt. She replied "Do you want another side?" I said no its dirty I have grit in my teeth. She asked what I want and I said I wanted it taken off. She said she would go get the manager. I could hear her talking in the back. Then she said the cook (manager?) couldn't come out because they were in their full cook's uniform. (huh?) I said ok. She set the bill down and they only took off the baked potato. I still have grit and crunchy dirt in my teeth and they made me pay for the rest of my meal. On top of that, the manager didn't feel like I was worth talking to. Plus, this is one of those restaurants that make you declare your tip to the cashier. This is a little uncomfortable since sometimes its your waitress who is ringing you up. Just a little tacky. Avoid.

Shocking toast incident. While my boyfriend's was well toasted, mine looked like it had not even been put in the toaster. Rest of the breakfast was ok but I could not get over the traumatic event.

After living in Davison for 34 years I have never been a fan of Archies until recently. The food AND service has improved greatly.

They are open 24 hours and there is seemingly ALWAYS someone here. I don't know how they do it, but they are great. Good food, good service, cheap prices, no complaints. Overall a nice family diner. 4 stars.
