Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

The pizza was great! Not greasy and the crust was great. I will definitely order from them again. A good alternative to the regular pizza places around town.

So when we moved, we had to replace our local pizza place, and we decided to try Pizza Dolce. Now this review is slightly over due, as we have been coming here now for well over a year, and we are never disappointed. Great tasting pizza, good price and very friendly staff! We haven't really strayed to far from the pizza offering, because at the end of that day, they are a pizza place. The pasta are ok, but we come back for the pizza. Nicely balanced sauce (some places cover their pizzas in sauce to cover for their lack of fresh ingredients in my mind). Not here. And love there specialty pizzas! Sorry it took so long to give this review! If the waist line is a measurement of succes, then my belt holes would say, you deserve the five stars.

We gave it a third try and the regular crust pizza was better than the deep dish we had the first time. It seems to be the only place in town with gluten free pizza. It's still a bit pricey and always check the bill because they sometimes double charge for ingredients or don't subtract coupons. They've been great about correcting these mix ups when they've happened.

Discovered Pizzeria Dolce thru Groupon...and love them. Much better alternative to the fast food pizzas in the area. The pizza is delish. Have tried on two different occasions and could tell they use quality, fresh ingredients. I had a panini last time I went...fabulous! I can't wait to try the stromboli and calzones.

I didi go back, thanks to the company contacting me. We tried their calzone and stromboli and they were great. They were priced decently also. I didn't retry the pizza but we will eat there again with the quality of calzone and stromboli's they have.

We have lived out here for 3 yrs & have been seeking a really good NON-CHAIN pizza place. And....we've found it!! Now about the pizza. It was great. Wonderful. Yumm-tastic. If hubbin (the pizza "snob") likes it you know it's good. Sauce was not overwhelming- just the right amount. They definitely do not skimp on the toppings. The right consistency of cheese so it stretches when you take a bite (you know, the cheese bridge). The crust could have been a tad crisper (for my taste) in the center. But none the less tasted fabulous (I'm a carb-o-holic). Pizzeria Dolce has now become our pizza place

Great pizza, very fresh ingredients. We love that they have specialty pizzas AND deliver! We've tried almost all of the specialty pizzas and we haven't been disappointed yet.

Had a problem that I felt I always got stuck waiting for an extremely long time well people were in the back. The past couple time I have ordered they have been there and attentive. Easy in and easy out. Also stayed in and ate it was a solid experience. The Stromboli and the pizza is solid every time. I highly recommend this place.

Since my last review I've ordered the pizza and garlic bread again and it really is incredible (I had the flamethrower pizza). The owner apologized for my not being 100% satisfied with my previous meal and has gone out of his way to make sure he doesn't lose a valued customer. I'm impressed! This is now my go-to place for pizza and delicious garlic bread. I highly recommend!

The pizza is very delicious. I did delivery today 2/12/15 and the delivery guy was very nice. I deferentially think I would have to stop in one day.

Garlic knots and BBQ Chicken thin crust were both excellent! Just moved into the area and this was the first delivery we tried. Pleasantly surprised and hoping the rest of the local options are as good or better. Delivery was fast ordering was simple.

Very very good food. All of it is fresh and it shows!! Homemade dough feel and broklyn style cannoli. This blows away any pizza chain resturant. Great food and amazing service!

  • Kate G.

This is pizza for the foodie. Beyond "basic" you can get the more exotic pies like BLT and ones with feta. And they have tiramisu! The quality of the pizzas are always top notch, they don't skimp on ingredients and everything is super fresh.

  • Kristopher S.

I had an issue with some burnt Calzone's here a while back and the owner here went over and beyond in making things right. I went back tonight for the first time being there since getting the burnt Calzone's and the food was phenomenal. The owners wife told me that they received several complaints about burnt orders and found that it was one employee that was burning all the food. He is no longer there, so there shouldn't be any more burnt food! I was very impressed by the great owner that went over and beyond and the food tonight was excellent. I will definitely be coming back.

So delicious you'll have a hard time deciding what to order! Pannini's are great and the antipasto is 'not to miss'! Ravioli was done just right and the bread is addictive! It's our new favorite place!

We also discovered Pizzeria Dolce through Groupon - what a find! Salads are fantastic. Veg lasagna and calzones were delicious. Can't wait to go back and try something else.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
