Shut the front door! This is by far the best soft serve e-ver! Not low sugar, not low fat. Nuff said! One of life's little pleasures. It is definitely pricier than DQ, but you get what you pay for. DQ takes like sweet, frozen, milk compared to this.

A kitsch-lover's DREAM!!! The kind of place I spot while driving and have to pull over to catch my breath from the sheer thrill! Yummy frozen custard, mini-golf, and friendly staff, sure. But the jewels in their crown are the STATUES! Who doesn't need a giant chicken in their day? How 'bout a huge hippo? Wonderful! They even have a re-purposed vintage Muffler Man statue that holds not only a golf club but also my heart. Don't forget to look for another large golfer statue at the far end of the driving range!

This place has a lot to offer people. Banana Splits, Hot Fudge Brownies, Dipped Cones, and more. My major gripe is that there never seems to be enough help for the line that they have. That, and there always seems to be a plethora of dirty looking kids that touch everything and the bugs are outrageous. The bugs are probably due to the bright lights of the signage, but the kids? UHHHHH!!! Well, what can you expect from an ice cream joint? On the plus side, I've never had a bad dish and the girls at the counter are always congenial. Now if only they'd deliver!

I have been coming to this establishment since I was a little girl. It's had its share of owners but not much has changed. The place is outdated and not kept up well. The play ground and putt putt area could use a makeover, facelift and be reprinted. I don't think the sand has been changed out in over 10 years. Tons of menu items. I will warn you that the menu is tiny font and printed on computer paper. Perhaps they could have more pictures, larger fonts and be more bold. A few older ladies had a hard time reading the items even with glasses on. They have weekly flavors of the week. I'm more of a chocolate/vanilla twist girl. Custard is a lot richer than regular ice cream. Portions are pretty large here and I often get baby cup of just twist. Very filling for me. Only cash is accepted here. No cards. No checks. They have weekly/monthly specials and on Thursday you get a few cup, cone or slush with a purchase of putt putt. Prices go up every year. More expensive than Ermas. Best hot fudge around though!

World's finest custard? That's a big claim, I can't disagree though. This is great stuff. Creamy and flavorful. Of course it's kinda pricey, well over $3 for a large cone but compared to Dairy Queen's frozen dreck created in a laboratory, it's worth it. Lot's of menu choices but IMHO the best is the custard in cone form, vanilla, chocolate or twist. Don't ruin it with sprinkles, toppings and other assorted goo's. Think simplicity. The charm of this place is the kitschy feel. Old time signage, quirky miniature golf props, dirt parking lot, everything is kinda beat up, lopsided and worn down. The setting is in a low area adjacent to the Salt River. Skip the Dairy Queen, come here for the character. Remember no credit cards allowed here, CASH ONLY.

What's better than frozen custard in spring? Frozen custard in the summer. Obviously. Their menu is pretty extensive here. The line moves fast. The employees are friendly and efficient. For those who know the area, it is no Erma's Frozen Custard. However, it is a very close second. This joint is worth the stop. Plus they have put-put golf! I've never played but the course looks fun.

Really disappointed. The flavors of the week this year were all weird and definitely did not appeal to the "majority ". I posted that review on their FB page and I was blocked! Then tonight we went to get custard at 8:50... They close at 9:00- the kids working were mopping the floors and refused to take our order because they "closed". Small businesses that treat customers this way all fail eventually.

Everything is delicious! Have never had a bad item! Only negative is they only accept cash, which is a little old fashion and inconvenient when u have a large family. Put put is fun, they have statues from all over, each has its own story :-)

Honest to God I count down the days they open the doors...err window...to this place from when they are closed durning winter....lucky me because of the mild winter they opened up a few weeks early!!! MUST TRYS: Turtle - Pecans, carmel to die for, fudge and creamy vanilla custard..CAN'T...GO..WRONG!!! Irish Cream Custard - Now, you won't find this every time you go but if you hit the mother of all jackpots! This amazing goodness taste like frozen baileys...sometimes I think i'm getting drunk off the goodness! Strawberry Sundaes - Fresh not too sweet strawberries paired with vanilla...how can you go wrong?? PS. I suck and mini-golf!

Mini golf and custard - How can you go wrong? This place is just down the road from my sisters new place - and good thing, because she and I love a good ice cream run. This place has all sorts of frozen treats - they are delcious, they are a good size and they are reasonably priced. It helps that they are also extremely well staffed! Beyond the regular standard custard flavors, they have rotating special flavors. They also have hand-dipped ice cream if you're not a soft-serve kind of person. This hit the spot - I'm sure I'll be back. :)

The best frozen custard you'll ever have... I can pretty much guarantee it. Although the prices of the custard cones are rising every single year (A baby cone was $1.50 a couple years ago ... now it's $2.25), it's worth it. The best part about it though, is that every week, they cycle two flavors. Vanilla and chocolate are both fine and good, but they're always available, and wouldn't you rather have Wild Cherry, Blue Moon, Pumpkin, or Caramel Cappuccino flavored custard instead? Highly recommended.

I've never had custard before and decided to give this a try after a round of mini-golf with the boyfriend. Got strawberry custard in a waffle cone and it was delicious. The boyfriend had a chocolate cherry sundae, which he said was great. There are benches and tables to sit down to eat your goodies too. Reasonably priced.

I usually go to TCBY for my frozen treats and have for years until I was introduced to The World's Finest Frozen Custard in Chesterfield, MI. This is a very pleasing environment with the children laughing and playing on the swings and taking turns at mini-golf. They have giant statues all along the course, which is well kept. Next door there is a driving range were you can get your practice in for golfing season. I really like winning a free game at the end with the hole in one try. The price is reasonable and I will return there again and again because I have always had a good experience. I recommend this place to my family and friends. Expect friendly employees and the best smooth, creamy frozen custard in all of Michigan! I always look forward to when this place is open! This is way better than ice cream or yogurt. They have tons of flavors, a variety of frozen products, smiling employees, and the line is never long. I love the different special flavors they have every week, like German Chocolate Cake and Irish Cream which you have to try! For a good family time out this summer, I highly recommend The World's Finest Frozen Custard. Keep up the good work there, never stop smiling, we appreciate your friendliness!

There are very few places that I recall finding "awesome" (actually, I probably said "neat!") as a five-year-old, that I still find awesome. The ball pits at Hardee's? Yeah, they're awesome until you try to reclaim your youth and find a used band-aid on the bottom. But this place is an exception to the Hardee's rule. This place has not only maintained its awesomeness, but it has accrued further awesome points for the following reasons: 1. The Big Man. I don't know if the big man has always been there, but it's hard to miss a 30 feet tall and hideous statue of a golfer. 2. The putt-putt. The "krazy" course has improved in craziness over the years - the Big Man is not the only statue here. He's got a bevy of friends, including swans and some other woodland creatures I'm forgetting. and last, but certainly not least: 3. The World's Finest Frozen Custard. No, seriously, it's very fine. Chocolate, vanilla, swirl - there might even be flavor twists now - custard in a chocolate dipped waffle cone and served by a pimply high school student? BRING. IT. ON. This place is a local gem, and it would be a lonely life if I never had the World's Finest Frozen Custard again.
