This place is aptly named. The food was average and the interior was typical modest price dinner. My two star rating goes to attitude. The wait staff are interested in delivering food to the table but little else. We eat out often at a variety of restaurants but twice at this place was enough to know that friendly service isn't a priority. If you want good pizza try takeout at Mickey's Mini Mart, across the parking lot.

Great pizza. Highly recommend the deep dish! Lots of cheese and delicious caramelization on the crust. Split pea soup tasted very homemade. Cup of soup, 2 soda pops, large 2 item pizza for $22 (including tax). A steal.

Excellent Pizza! Not too thin, not too thick. Crispy chewy crust browned nicely. I have ordered it to go several times over the years. Always Consistently good. It is definitely the best Pizza in Cheboygan. Stick with the Pizza on this menu and you won't be disappointed.

Came into town on business and was craving a good pizza. I looked on Yelp and this place had great reviews and I believe those reviews were spot on. I ordered a small pizza with homemade Italian sausage, mushrooms, onions and green peppers. Excellent pizza. I don't know about the other fare, but locals seemed to be ordering lots of different items and they all looked good. The building won't attract you from the road (or even from your table) but the food and service were top notch. The place was clean, the staff nice, service fast and I have no complaints. I knew I was on to something good when I pulled in and the parking lot was full. It was a good find and the next time I'm in town I'll be stopping again.

Passing through town on our way from U.P. camping to Au Sable river camping, we asked a Walmart employee where some good local pizza could be had. Her eyes instantly lit up and she blurted "Pizza Hut!" We asked if there was a local place instead. She tilted her head and asked "Little Caesar's? I guess I don't quite know what you're looking for. I heard Old House pizza is something..." She admitted never eating there, though. We thanked her and walked out. This place is delicious. Awesome crust. Good cheese. Perfectly greasy. Generous toppings. Fair prices. Pleasant service. Did I mention the crust?

It's not a big place and the atmosphere isn't all that engaging, but the people are nice and the pizza is great. Been there many times and this is the best pizza up north.

I have been a customer there since it opened and the pizza is always the same; perfect! This mom and pop type restaurant has maintained the quality of the ingredients for their famous local pizza over the years. They do offer more than pizza on their menu with moderate prices to be competitive with the times. They offer both beer (some local) and wine on their menu. The service is both friendly and attentive.

It's just alright. I want to like this place but twice we've been burned. We arrived at 7:30 pm for dinner and before the woman said hello, she immediately told us that they close in 30 minutes and the pizza oven has already been turned off. All we could order was cold subs and salads. I think I was more turned off than the pizza oven was and we promptly left and went across the street to Pizza Hut. I try to keep my money with small businesses but who wants to be greeted like that? The place is cheap pizza joint and overall lacks genuine quality. Everything is just A-Ok per my rating. I feel that way about most pizza places but it's quality and customer service that sets places a part. Cheboygan only has about 6 pizza places in the downtown area and This Old House is in the bottom two. If Mickey's is open next door, order a pizza pie to go and grab a picnic table on the river or head over to the marina picnic area 5 minutes away Otherwise B.C.'s might just be a better choice as well. Also, worst IP address ever: cheboyganpizzarestaurant…

Pizza for lunch. The pizza, especially the crust, was outstanding! The whole place is fireman themed. We found out the owner is a firefighter. They desperately need to replace the carpet and update the bathrooms.

We love the round pizza. The sauce is tasty without the overly sweet or weird spices many pizza places like to add. The crust is always cooked just right. The wait can be long during the supper hour, but we do not mind because we know that a good pizza cannot becrushed. The staff is friendly. We do like to eat in the dining room to the right as you enter. The dining area to the left of the entrance can be cold. The bathrooms are in great need of an update. So important for a restaurant. Definitely looks like they clean them, but an old public bathroom does not give a customer a pleasant clean feel so important to the dining experience. As a matter of fact, the whole place could use a remodel job. We love the pizza and drive 25 minutes for it, but I hope they remodel soon. Please!

In town for a night, This Old House is right down the street from the Best Western. Chef salad is all iceberg lettuce (which I guess is to be expected) but otherwise very good. The pizza is surprisingly good. The crust is a little bland but I love the chewy texture. There were plenty of toppings, and while the sauce was a little sweet for my taste, I would definitely choose this over Pizza Hut any day. Fast, friendly service, good food, good deal. FYI, they do NOT deliver. Whoever posted that on Yelp lied. Great for takeout.

We've been living in Lansing for six years and have been consistently horrified by Michigan pizza. We went to Cheboygan for no good reason and were delighted by the pizza at This Old House despite the decor. Now if only Cheboygan was closer to Lansing.

One of the only places open late in town on a Sunday night. Friendly service and a good selection of food.

The sever was slammed but we still got our food and refills. I would definitely come back here again.

This place surprised me. The interior has a firehouse motif and is dark with red pleather booths. The menu has a lot of offerings and we weren't expecting much and boy where we in for a treat! My wife had the spaghetti with meat sauce and I had the whitefish dinner. Now, mind you the salad was iceberg lettuce with a tomato wedge, dried out cucumbers, and red onion and probably should be skipped but the entrees were fantastic! All in all it was a nice dining experience with better than expected food. It is a bit pricey but I will go back.

Cheese! The best pizza in town - make that any town.If you are within 40 miles of Cheboygan and in the mood for pizza you should make the drive. Round and Square are both outstanding. Rest of fare is pretty darn ordinary so stick with the pizza and you'll be back for more.
