I refuse to ever go here again. I grew up going here in the summers. Food was always good but always over priced. But at least the service was good. Since joe died and his kids and wife took over it has gone full force downhill. The waitstaff and kitchen staff are the laziest people I have ever laid eyes on. Not to mention the slowest. They just sit talking and visiting instead of doing their job. Take out or dine in does not matter. You will wait 3 times as long as any other restaurant and end up w just sub par food. But a HUGE bill. Save yourself the stress of being treated like crud and steer clear.

The order took 43 minutes to fill. Staff was very full of negative attitude and seemed like they did not want to feed their public. Appetizer took 20 minutes to fill. We got cheese sticks, two soups, pizza, cup of sprite and cup of milk. We paid $47 for all that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cheese sticks tasted like they were bought at Kroger frozen and defrosted; soup was over salted and the portions were super small. We ended up leaving after waiting for such a long time. The meal was coming in as we were leaving. This place has lost our business forever.

Over priced, processed garbage. Almost $30 for two salads, and that's without the meat I requested. Half of my salad consists of the inner yellow bitter section of the lettuce. A giant thick exterior leaf that they couldn't be bothered to actually cut. 2 oz of lunch meat, that I had to pay extra for. And, no apologies. The guy sitting at the bar behind me had been waiting on his take out pizza for over an hour. There was only one table being used in the entire restaurant. Save your money and your time. Both are wasted there. Instead, head up to the Bay Port Inn in Bay Port. Their food is great, ample portions, and they're friendly. Should've went there. We used to love Joe's, but the place has gone downhill in a major way.

One waitress, overwhelmed by 2 tables including ours! Dropped off menu and left. After 10 minutes of waiting for her return ( she has only one other table!! ) we left. On the way out. We notices the kitchen staff sitting on a chair at the end of the counter....doing nothing. Good luck!!

Took an hour after ordering to get our food . While the food was good, it was not worth the wait. During checkout, a customer picking up their take-out was waiting for their salad to get made. The waitress preparing the salad touched the food with her bare hands and did not wash her hands. The customer rejected the salad and requested a refund. I had a hard time giving this restaurant 2 stars. Only the food here was okay.

Excellent pizza. Restaurant quite dated considering the high-priced pizza. Restaurant needs remodel including chairs and decor.

I don't know how this only has a few stars. Not only is this pizza fantastic but we just had a couple pieces from four months ago and it is still fantastic. The crust is gnawy and yeasty. DELICIOUS!!! You've got to try it.

This restaurant experience offered a poor ending to a weekend away. When we arrived, we were told to seat ourselves. After waiting at our table for about 5 minutes, a frazzled "waitress" zoomed over, threw menus down, and said "that girl over there is your server. I'm way too busy to handle another table." Keep in mind, there were only 3 other occupied tables, none of which appeared demanding. We proceeded to wait another 10 minutes for the girl who was previously pointed out to us to finally come over and ask if we had been helped. Obviously there was no communication between the wait staff, since she, herself, had no idea our table was her responsibility. We ordered an appetizer and a medium pizza, which took 45 minutes to arrive. We asked for a side dipping sauce; extra. We wanted to add one topping to our pizza; an extra $3. Excessive nickel and dime-ing. Not only were we there for an hour already, but our bill had been immediately dropped with the food delivery. The pizza was good, however not worth the wait. Our hopes were to grab a quick bite before making a 2-hour trek home. "Quick" would be the last word I would use to describe our experience. It was unnecessarily expensive, and not a venue I would recommend.

My family and I were staying in Port Austin and decided to go to Caseville for dinner. We thought the menu at Giuseppes looked decent so decided to give it a try. My husband ordered the italian sub and thought it was really good. My Mom and I ordered baked pasta which was decent. The pizza bread that comes with the entree's is outstanding. My two issues with this place are 1) the meals are way overpriced. I paid $12.99 for my pasta, $2.79 for a drink, and $2.29 for a salad. The pasta should come with the salad and the value would be better. For a family the kids meals are also way overpriced. My kids spaghetti was $5.99. It was just a bowl of pasta, no where near worth $5.99. 2) The service was very slow. We actually saw two tables get up and leave in a matter of 10 minutes because no one was coming to their tables. Although our table didn't get the pizza several people ordered it around us and it looked good. My suggestion would be to get pizza as a carry out and you will probably be much happier.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
