A unique and delicious dining option if you are a vegetarian or in the Canton area. (Don't worry they have chicken if you are a carnivore!) My parents loved this place so much after it's discovery... we had take out from them 3x that week. A little too much, but that's just how my family rolls. If that doesn't deserve a 5 star, I'm not sure what will. I mean you made my dad happy and he NEVER try new things. I can't say that I've tried most of the flavors, but what I can tell you is that if you are unsure about what to order, the staff is very knowledgable. Just tell them what you typically like, and they'll direct you to something you may enjoy. I thoroughly liked the Garlic Chicken Pizza. A safe option with: Garlic & herb sauce, cheese, chicken, green pepper, onion & fresh garlic. The dining area is small and if you can't get a good seat, their take out service is pretty fast.

Over rated on all counts from service to product. Service is awkward and they seemed confused Ordered the Chicken -Tiki Pizza which was fine and passable The smell of the curry on crust is hard to get used to unless your Indian- which I noticed many of the positive reviews are from In other words its a niche product... not for everyone, like me

Been wanting to hit this place up with my bro for a long time and finally got the chance. We ordered two veggie puffs and a large pav bhaji pizza. The food aspect of the experience was on point. The pizza was delicious and the puffs were all right as well. The confusing part was the set-up and ordering process. With multiple tables, it's assumed that it would be a "sit-down" and wait-to-order but that was a little confusing. Customers had to get the plates, utensils, and napkins. It obviously isn't a big issue but it operates like a sit-down and a fast-food place at the same time making ordering and stuff more confusing than need be. The bigger issue (that stems from that confusion) is they don't offer water and cups for free. In my opinion, tap water should always be available for no charge. They have bottled water, some soft drinks, and Hawaiian Punch. Since they all seem to have been the same price, it was appropriate to get something other than water. One of the cashiers were a little less than friendly. Overall, the food was great but some of the other aspects could be considered like the set-up and identity of the place (fast food, restaurant, etc). But, the food that we had was really good. Still a place to check out given all that is written here.

It might seem odd, but the combination of pizza and Indian food works really well. It's pretty unique, and all the pizzas are delicious. My only criticism is that the crust isn't the best, but the overall package is good enough that it doesn't really bother me. I don't go to Canton very often, but when I do, I try to swing by for a pizza.

I went with a few friends and we shared 4 potato puffs, 1 small Chicken Tikka pizza, and 1 large Eggplant Paneer and Mango Masala (half/half). The pizza was good but I wouldn't say I was mind blown. However, it was quite cheap. All that came out to $32 and we were able to bring home lots of leftovers!

As my first meal in Michigan while I was visiting AA and UMich, my friends and I made the drive to this interesting mom and pop restaurant. We called to order before coming in and the pizzas were ready by the time we got there. We ordered 4 smalls, all different flavors and toppings. My favorite was mango chicken pizza because it wasn't as spicy as the other and I thought it was pretty flavorful. We also go garlic chicken, paneer tikka pizza, and tikka chicken. Honestly, I can't really differentiate the last two types, they have a slightly difference but from the looks, they both looked very similar. They don't offer water since they only have tap water so we bought a bottle of orange soda and ate there. Between 4 people, we still had 1.5 pizza leftover. After 2 slices, I was pretty full! It is an interesting twist to pizza but it did get a bit overload of curry flavored and dough. This would definitely be a good thing to have at parties!

Really good food. Something different. It was really hard to decide what we wanted - pretty much everything on the menu sounded delicious. So I guess my only complaint is that it's so far away from home! Seriously, if I lived here, I would be eating here All. The. Time.

Was nearby at ikea and heard good reviews so decided to stop in. Tried the butter chicken pizza. It tasted great. Good option when you want pizza but not the same traditional toppings.

Why had I never heard of this before...not just this restaurant, but the entire concept?!? It is BRILLIANT!!! A friend and I each got a large pizza and we each did ours half-and-half...meaning we had a total of four different kinds of pizza. We got varied sauces and toppings and I can legitimately say they were all phenomenal! I am so glad I had more than half my pizza left over. It is SO incredibly flavorful, complex, perfectly doughy but not chewy...I can't say enough good things about it...except that it is not close enough to where I live! ABSOLUTELY worth a visit, even if it is out of your way!!!

Slam bamn on the crust!!! Exceeded our expectations and going back next week. Freshens full of flavor.

This place has a concept that I had never seen before. It takes a spin off on Indian cuisine and puts it all on a pizza. We took home Chicken Tikka Pizza & Chicken Malai Pizza plus some Chilli Chicken Wings. The experience consisted of authentic Indian tastes bursting out of the pizza slices. This food goes great with fine wine as well.

Very good and very unique. I can't remember the name of the two that we got but one was yummmmmmmy and left me wanting more and the 2nd was ok. Your pizzas aren't going to be overloaded with toppings. They are light pizzas. Service was nice.

I get the Roasted Garlic Pizza with extra chilies everytime. It is out of this world and the staff are vert welcoming and nice.

Unfortunately, my family won't eat Curry on Crust so I have to eat the pizza all by my lonesome. Well...maybe that's a good thing since I love the combination of pizza and Indian food! Yum yum yum! They can stick to their regular pepperoni and cheese...psssh. I can't ever decide on what to get so I usually split my pizzas. This time I got half butter chicken and the other half aloo gobi. Both pretty tasty but a bit salty. At first glance I didn't notice the chicken. It was cut into tiny tiny pieces and I could hardly taste it. I think next time I will stick to the vegetarian only pizzas. Not a fan of the crust. The crust seemed so lifeless in comparison to the rest of the pizza. The parking lot is not tiny and there is adequate parking spots BUT the majority of people in the lot drive like they have no idea what they are doing or where they are going and slam their brakes in the middle of the lot for no apparent reason. They also drive in the middle so no one can get around them on either side and stop! Just be CAREFUL in this lot!

So its different, but different good. Its in a small strip mall, north side, way past all the other national chain restaurants and burger joints. Its basically Indian food on a pizza. Its not hot and ready, its pick your toppings, veggy or chicken, and wait 20 minutes - either at the pizza place or explore the other stores in the strip mall. The are exactly 4 tables and 17 chairs - 4 each at the tables and 3 against the wall. And it was crowd, many people picking up their orders.

They not only have a wonderful concept of Desi pizza but the food is so good. My husband and I tried chicken tikka pizza and chilli chicken pizza with veggie curry puffs. I highly recommend this place to everyone. The pizzas aren't really spicy which is is perfect for folks of all ages.

  • Vikash K.

By far the best Indian pizza ever. They basically take your favorite Indian dish. Veg or meat and make it into a pizza Get the chicken tikka pizza. You'll definitely love it. I enjoy the food here, so does friends and family I have taken here. Small seating area so it's not ideal to go during regular dinner or lunch time. As you won't have space or will have to wait. Great for carry out

I came to this place with high hopes after seeing all the positive reviews about their pizza. We ordered two different pizzas - the butter chicken pizza and a mango chicken pizza and a garlic bread appetizer. The garlic bread was delicious, but the pizza left much to be desired. In my opinion, both of the pizzas tasted pretty similar because the curry tasted the same. Usually when you go to an Indian restaurant, each entree tastes different because of the various curries and spices used, however, the butter chicken didn't even taste of butter chicken that I've had at authentic Indian restaurants. I believe this place would taste better also if they used a thin crust pizza. The regular crust was way too thick and took away from the pizza's already lack-of flavor. The pizza lacked sauce. Overall I don't think I'll be returning.

  • David B.

We ordered a large with half masala eggplant and half achari veggie, and my boyfriend ordered chilli chicken wings. The pizza was good, if a bit too salty - lots of fresh veggies and cilantro. A great pizza restaurant for vegetarians, with lots of choices I'm excited to try next time.

  • Friend of D.

We got a Chicken Tikka pizza and a Chili Paneer pizza, both with regular crust. The sauce on the Tikka was quite thinly applied. Next time will order on a thin crust or ask for extra sauce. The Chili Paneer sauce was sweet, but very flavorful and probably more flavorful vs. the Tikka. As others have noted, - For most of the time we were there, there wasn't anyone at the counter. - For dine-in patrons, it would be nice if they could put out a big cooler of water for guests to take from - The small pizza is cut into 4 slices. They should be cut into 6 slices. At 4, they were just too large. We will come by again when we are in this area. Very unique flavors and fresh toppings.

Oh my gosh, this place is amazing! I never would've thought to combine pizza and Indian food, but for some reason, it just works. The paneer pizza with manchurian sauce is literally the most delicious pizza I have ever had in my entire life. Seriously - I ordered it nearly two weeks ago, and I've been craving it literally every single day since then. The restaurant itself is small and tucked into a tiny strip mall, so I wouldn't have noticed it if my friend hadn't found it on Yelp first. It is very clean inside and the atmosphere is nice, although it seems more carry-out oriented and there are only four or five tables to sit at. If you love Indian food, you absolutely need to try this place. I suggest getting a pizza for takeout on a movie night in with your SO... or you know, a whole pizza just for yourself wouldn't hurt either. :)

If you miss pizza from pizza hutt in India, make a visit. It is not that good as in Pizza Hutt but you would definitely like some of them. We really like it and would definitely keep going. We live in Ann Arbor but visit this everytime we go there or we go there to eat pizza from there. I saw lot of good reviews so never believed it till I visited there.

Novel and good. Treat yourself to something different. Curry is not my favorite spice-- actually I really don't like curry, but don't let that stop you from a great experience. So many distinct tastess. There are only like 6-8 tables, so carry out may be the way to go.

Small shop with about 4 tables that seat 4. Came here pretty late on a Friday night ~9pm (they close at 10pm). We arrived and the lady there was really nice about everything. We ordered two large (14") chicken pizzas ($14 each) and they were ready in about 15 minutes, and we were finished eating and out by 10pm! Fast, excellent service. We got the chicken tikka pizza, which contains tikka chicken and sauce with cheese, onions, green peppers, cilantro, etc. We also got the Methi pizza which is a spinach based sauce with chicken, cheese, onions, and red pepper. Tikka - My favorite. It was very well spiced and flavored. I'm not a big fan of crusts, but the crust didn't overpower the spices and the overall flavor of the pizza. Methi - not bad, but tikka was definitely more flavorful and had a better well rounded flavor to it. You could really taste the cumin they added to the chicken on this! Water here costs a dollar a bottle. Splitting a pizza (i.e. Half chicken tikka half something else) costs an extra dollar. I'm definitely coming back. I've already recommended this place to friends, and it hasn't even been a day since I had my meal here! Next time I'll probably try the chili chicken pizza and some of the Masala potato wedges... If there's one thing they could improve on, it would be looking to expand their menu. I can see myself getting tired of this place quickly if they limit themselves to the select few chicken options they have. (I did notice that two of the chicken options were the same, except one had garlic listed separately in the ingredients and one didn't...despite the fact that they still both listed "garlic and herbs."

Nestled into a small strip mall on Ford Road (one of the first you'll hit coming from 14's Ford Rd/M-153 exit) Curry on Crust has 4 small tables where you can sit ad eat, or wait for your takeout. They do not have waiter service in the sense that you order and pay at the counter, but they do bring your food on a metal pizza tray if you are dining in. We dined in last weekend and were floored by the quality of the pizza, friendliness of the staff and brilliance that comes from the unassuming space. We tried two pizzas, 14 (Saag Paneer) and 15 (Paneer Tikka) and also the masala potatoes. Honestly, the potatoes are something we will never order again. While the flavor was nice, they were just soooooo greasy. But, who cares, because the pizza is what you need to focus on. Last night after getting home from a night on the town Kris and I were kicking around dinner ideas for tonight (we usually eat out on Saturday night) and I said, "I gotta tell you, I think I might just drive and pick up pizza from Curry on Crust." Good thing I was driving because he would have gone off the road. I never want to even answer the door to pay the delivery guy, nevermind drive someplace. I drive A TON for my job so getting me to drive on the weekends is not easy. Especially after a week like this last one, and especially after driving close to 200 miles yesterday throughout the day. But, I digress. This morning I woke up thinking about the pizza and I also mentioned it when we were driving home after picking up some groceries this morning. If I am willing to drive 40 minutes (round trip) for pizza, you know it's good. Tonight we got two smalls, a Saag Paneer (again... we figured stick with one you know) and also a Chicken Tikka. I called a few minutes after getting in the car and was told 20-25 minutes and when I arrived about 20 minutes later they were both ready and hot. They were hot even once I got back to Ann Arbor. We also got Veggie Puffs (2) that are HUGE but we haven't tried those yet. We each had one slice and will probably snack a little later on. The boxes (which are not generic, a very nice touch) include reheating directions although the pizza is great room temperature. From concept to execution, there is nothing bad to say about pizza covered in all of my favorite Indian combinations. Can't wait to get it again!

Came here on a visit from Boston. Delicious food, and a very unique spin on Pizzas. Not overly greasy or oily, and while probably not the healthiest, was not overindulgent (plus, some of their pizzas also have great protein compared to your standard chain pizza fare) Also, lots of options for vegetarians!

  • Prasun R.

Great twist to pizza. Loved the sauces and the toppings. The curries they put on the crust is much much better than what some of the expensive so called Indian restaurants serve. They could very well sell the curries with naan and have people line up outside the place. We had Chicken Tikka and Gobi Manchurian pizzas and I was shocked to find that the veg pizza was the better of the 2. Coming from a non-vegetarian that says a lot. I can't wait to eat here again.

  • Matt G.

Best pizza I've ever had in my life. Disregard the irony that the best pizza I've ever had is the least traditional pizza imaginable. I got the chicken tikka pizza. The flavors were EXPLOSIVE. The chicken was perfectly marinated and perfectly tender. It clearly stole the show. The tikka sauce base complimented the pizza well without overpowering the other flavors. I swapped out the green peppers for hot chili's, which gave it an extra spicy kick. I love cilantro, so the garnishing of cilantro on top just added another fantastic dimension. Its been a while since my last 5 star review, and if I could give curry on crust 6 stars I would. Can't wait to go back and try all their other iterations!

    (5)
  • Vic J.

I like a good pizza and better yet to find inspired, non-traditional toppings. I've tried several pizzas and can't decide which one is best... I guess I better go back

  • Smrithi D.

A yummy innovation to traditional pizza. I mean if you like indian flavors AND pizza, which are 2 of the best foods in the world, why not combine them! Can't go wrong with ordering anything on the menu. Great for vegetarians! Small shop so dont expect alot of seating.

  • Deb M.

One of my new favorite pizza joints. Pizza is so diverse its really hard to compare one type to the other but if you're looking for something different give this place a try! If you're a cheese and pepperoni kind of gal or guy then you might want to skip curry on crust because the only meat you will find here is chicken. They have many vegetarian options and not all pizzas have curry flavor so don't worry if that's not your thing. My favorite is the garlic chicken pizza which has an amazingly strong garlic sauce (in place of traditional sauce), diced chicken, onion and green peppers. Best part, family owned and operated! Closed on Mondays.

  • G N.

I tried this pizza first when it had just opened and wasn't too impressed. IMO, the crust was more like a naan. I understand people being impressed with the concept of fusion food but if I want Desi food,I don't need it on pizza dough and vice versa. Maybe if they made pizza on thin crust, it may be okay. I wouldn't go back.

I wish I could eat here daily. This pizza is seriously tasty, and is clearly freshly made. I got the Palak Paneer pizza, my fiance got the Chili Chicken pizza. We each got a small and it was plenty of food. The prices were fine, the ambiance was sweet, and again, the pizza... so tasty! I wish it had even more spice to it, but loved it nonetheless. Regrets: - The service was iffy at best. For most of the time we were there, there wasn't anyone at the counter. Thus when we didn't get the water we had asked for, we couldn't really find someone to ask about it. - On that note, water. Often counter service establishments will have a big cooler of water for guests to take from; this would be a great addition to Curry on Crust. - Let's keep going about the water. My cup of water, once I got it, had black dust in the bottom. - The small pizza is cut into 4 pieces. This is an awfully picky suggestion/regret, but I wish it had been 6. The slices were just too large, and somehow having 6 slices in the same pizza might make it feel like you were getting even more.

We were introduced to Indian Pizza while recently out in California. Started with an order of Somosas (Veggie Puffs). They were excellent. Very light and puffy. Next we tried a large 1/2 Aaloo Methi & Paneer Tikka pizza. I particularly enjoyed the Paneer Tikka. I would recommend this place to anyone how enjoys Indian, but is looking for something a little different. Place is very small with room for only 16 diners. It appears that quite a bit of their business is take out. Only draw back is that they busy and it took about 30 minutes to get our pizza. Drinks are limited to can pop & water.

  • Isra N.

This pizza place is definitely worth checking out! If you're a fan of Indian food and pizza (who isn't?!) this place combines the two deliciously! They usually take 15 minutes to make a large pizza, so ordering ahead helps. I would recommend the chicken tikka and the garlic chicken (which comes with a white sauce, yay) pizza. This place never fails to disappoint. The staff is very friendly and efficient as well. Check out Curry on Crust if you're in the area!

Ya know, the paneer pizza and masala potatoes were pretty fantastic, but I couldn't realize that until I got home and into air conditioning because inside this tiny restaurant, it was literally hotter than f*cking Bombay. Turn the AC on, people. My eyeballs are melting like the bad guy in the last scenes of Who Framed Roger Rabbit. ( youtube.com/watch?v=MSTL… ) I know, the cussing is a little graphic, but so was sitting there in a pool of my own mustache sweat trying to eat spicy desi potatoes and fresh baked pizza. I was having a total David Berkowitz moment in there where I swear sh*t was talking to me, telling me to behave even more unreasonably than normal. I couldn't even finish my food in there it was so hot, plus there's no fountain soda thing so if you just get a cup of water it's only a little larger than a thimble and not enough to cool your core back to the point of sanity. Me in Curry on Crust on a hot day and you can forget about the Son of Sam, Psycho on Pizza is about to be the new rage in Canton, Mi. I took my boo here because I'm a HUGE fan of Neehee's just up the strip with all their frggin' outstanding Indian vegetarian street food options, but of course some jerk off (probably in delusion from the Michigan summer heatwave) drove their car into the Neehee's while parking so they were closed for construction... but it's probably for the best (as long as no one was hurt) bc as much as I love Neehee's, it could use a little something as far as atmosphere... and same with Curry on Crust. At Neehee's, there was also this dud working who was super friendly and helpful and really knew the menu, but at CoC (oooh, dirty pronunciation alert!) the ladies behind the counter just didn't have the same touch. They were kind of hiding out in back and you had to go up and ring this stupid annoying bell that made you feel like a jerk off whenever you wanted to order or had a question. When I asked about the number of things on their menu as far as popularity and what they thought was the best thing on the menu, I kind of got a lackadaisical response and she basically just read the menu to me instead of giving any suggestion which only fueled my monster heat exhaustion more. We ended up doing the Masala Potato Wedges as a side and they on f*cking fire and fantastic. Sure, I was sweating my balls off already because Canton, Michigan has pretty much no shade in the entire town and on top of that it seems like someone just came in to blacktop everything to torture you and make it as hot as f*cking possible everywhere. People of Canton, you live in an oven and your town is killing me.How do you do it? Lizard people? Are you guys lizard people? Because that's the only reasonable explanation I can come up with. ... anyway, get those masala potato wedges. And try to ignore my crazy rant... I'm having flashbacks to cooking in my own skin while sitting in CoC. For pizza we got the spicy veggie pizza that was just okay. It wasn't that out of the ordinary and honestly not too memorable or spicy. Just tasted kinda like a regular old veggie pizza so I was a bit disappointed since this was one of the items the counter girl recommended as her fave after it was like pulling teeth to get a suggestion out of her. Maybe I would've thought it was better if it were my first time eating pizza, but my days of pizza virginity are loooong gone and it's gonna something a little more kinky to satisfy this pizza ho. Our next pie was the Chilli Paneer Pizza, I believe, and let me tell ya, that was really something. The only thing better than getting a paneer pizza from Curry on Crust is getting a Paneer Pizza from Curry on Crust and taking it to the comfort of my own hyper air-conditioned home and eating it. I would drive back to Michigan to for this, for sure... but then I'd probably sit in my car and eat it because the conditions inside here were barely fit for a demon. Curry on Crust, I love what you do, but I hate a little for making me realize what it feels like to have it be so hot my ear canals actually sweat.

Tried the Butter Chicken pizza and it was delicious. Good crust, great sauce and ingredients. The combination really works. The dining room is small, so you might want to do take-out. Dinging the review one star because you have to pay a dollar for water. C'mon.

Auntie A: If you were ranking Curry Pizza out of 5 stars, how many stars would you give it? Nephew: 4.5 Auntie D: You can't do halves. Nephew: 5 Auntie A: Why? Nephew: You always round up.*** Auntie A: Why is it a 4.5? Nephew: IT IS SUPER GOOD! I have to agree with my Indian food loving Nephew. Curry pizza is "SUPER GOOD." Our favorite is the Chicken Tikka Pizza with tikka sauce and on top there's cheese, pieces of tandoori chicken, onions, garlic, and green peppers. A great combo! I wished it was a bit spicier though and I'm not in love with the crust. Of course there are plenty of veggie options like the flavorful Achari Veggie Pizza that also had tikka sauce and cheese but was topped with potatoes, tomatoes, onions, green peppers and baby corn. Others liked the Palek Paneer Pizza but I thought it was kind of bland. There is also a basic cheese pizza option for the picky eaters. Truly desi-licious! ***Apparently the Nephew pays attention in math class. :)

This place deserves 5star or maybe even more higher rating. It was our first time here and the pizza was Xceptional!! I have had desi pizza in california ( where i recently moved from) and this pizza was far more falvirful and delish. Loved the Paneer tikka pizza n masala potato wedges. The order didn't take that long and the girl at the register was friendly. Their menu has a number of options to choose from. Will try more when we are in the area. The girl at the register also told us about another restaurant , Neehees , in the same complex as this Pizza place run by the same owner. Though the restaurant is under some renovation since somebody rammed their car inside the restaurant... Pretty amusing!!! Definitely a must try and you will craving for more!!!!

This is a great concept, especially if you are a fan of Indian fare. The store is modern and clean, and I've never experienced bad service. In the past I have really liked the chilli chicken pizza, heavy on the chillies, while my wife is a big fan of the butter chicken pizza. This time we went with the butter paneer pizza and a side of chilli chicken wings, as spicy as possible. The butter paneer pizza was really good, with a nicely blended combination of tastes. The chicken wings were a bit tough, a similar experience I had when I ordered the masala wings in the past.

Pizza is great. Bathroom is disgusting. They have a round seat on an oval toilet so there's a layer of dried pee on the part sticking out under the round seat. Seriously, how hard is it to get the right seat? Did they get the round one for free? Did they find it? The bathroom doesn't look like its been cleaned for months. But my biggest gripe is that you can't have a glass on water with your pizza. You have to buy bottled water. And no beer obviously. Given all that, this place is essentially take out only. Too bad I don't live closer.

    (3)
  • Mike C.

The chicken tikka pizza might be the best pizza I've ever had. I've ordered here about once a month always getting the tikka and ordering 1 I haven't had yet. The only negative I can give is twice I have called and kept getting a busy signal. Both times after redialing for 15 minutes I just went up and ordered. It's a minor annoyance to have to wait the extra 15 minutes and order in person but the Indian grocery store next to it is an easy way to kill the time. If you're looking for a traditional boring pizza I wouldn't go here. But if you want something amazing and new this is your place. I always order from here when we have out of town guest staying with us.

Hard to describe how much I love this place. I just wish it wasn't so far away. You guys should put a location up in Farmington Hills. Lots of hungry Indian people up here! I'm a huge fan of the Palak Paneer, but the Chicken Tikka is also delicious. This restaurant was a brave concept that I think is sheer genius. The bold flavors of Indian cuisine work very well on pizza. I think they should also try calzones. If you haven't tried this place yet, you really need to.

I love this place. I was hesitant at first; I love Indian food, I love pizza, but I was skeptical about how well the two would go together. I'm glad I gave it a chance. I've tried several different pizzas: Chicken Tikka, Butter Chicken, Palak Paneer, Paneer Tikka, and Achari Veggie. All have been excellent. I usually order extra sauce on my pizza since it is so delicious. The restaurant is just a tiny place, but they can get extremely busy. Expect to wait 20-30 minutes for your pizza.

Unique pizza. I enjoyed the chicken tikka pizza. The masala potato wedges are great. You should definitely give this place a try if you enjoy Indian food. It takes maybe 20 minutes to make your pizza, so be prepared for a wait.

Three stars because the crust is ok. However, the choices of toppings will blow the mind! Great for vegetarians. Pleasant and prompt service for both eat-in and take-out experiences I had there. P.S. I am not really a fan of pizza as a meal.

Mmmmmm tasty. I am not huge into pizza as a general rule but this place is one of my exceptions to the rule. Its totally fun fusion. The chilli chicken pizza is quite delish. The garlic definitely makes its presence known which adds to the complex spice. Really dances across the tongue. I liked the texture too. My friend is veg only and went with the aloo gobi. Hmmmm, not really working for me in the same way. It was ok but nothing I need to have again. Just too much and yet oddly not enough. Sorry for the description but that is really how I felt, texture odd, flavor just not as exciting as the other choice and therefore disappointing. Sadly my husband has declared this to be the one place he will not partake in pizza from. Ever. He needs to stop the hate on Indian food already. Boo. I will come back without him.

did not like their pizza. crust seemed very Boboli (like in the grocery store). got the roasted garlic and all i tasted was green and red peppers. so little flavor, and no garlic. cheese i could not identify, but who cares, it was tasteless. finally threw the leftovers out. you can find a better place in canton.

If you like Indian food and pizza, you'll love this place!! We were admittedly a bit reluctant at first, but so glad we finally tried it out!! Great taste and left me wanting more! We will definitely return! **Make sure to call in/order ahead of time or you'll be waiting in a crammed, hot restaurant for 20 mins.**

Was so excited when I read about this place in the newspaper. Had to rush right in and try it, and we were not disappointed. The pairing of two of my favorite foods = tastegasm! We tried 3 of the chicken pizza's: Chicken Tikka Pizza was very tasty, Butter Chicken Pizza tasted like butter chicken and was really good, but the Chilli Chicken Pizza was phenomenal. Hooray for manchurian sauce, yum! I think this place will have a very busy future, it's brilliant.

This is the best creation ever, you will be amazed and instantly addicted. Freaking FANTASTIC, every time. Very very casual dine-in. Super friendly staff. Needs a better/healthier beverage selection.

Pizzas are really good. I dont recommend sitting and eating there, the establishment is clean but eating off of paper plates was college for me and I am long past those days. Will def go back to try other items on the menu.

Great concept and deliciously made. Just as home we spread some veggies on bread...or made desi pizza...but here its the real deal professionally created. All menu items are well thought and mouthwatering.

Great idea, but IMO the execution is somewhat lacking. We got the butter chicken and the chili chicken pizzas. My fav of the two was the chili. The sauce is really good and a little spicy. I asked for extra sauce, cuz I love my food saucy and wet ; ). But.... Unfortunately, didn't get it = (. The crust is really not that good at all. It's almost like those refrigerated take n bake pizzas you pick up at the grocery store. Although, other ppl have said they like it? And the pieces of chicken are really small and fairly bland.... All in all, it's ok. I'd like to give them another chance and try some of their other pizzas. If you've never been, give it a shot.

3.5- they lose a few cool points for not offering free water. Seriously, you gotta buy a drink if you eat at this joint. Came here with two buddies of mine on a random Thursday. I'm pretty sure the people that own Nee Hee's own this place too, as their awning and design looks the same. AMBIANCE- tucked away in a little strip mall type area, this place is right next to an Indian Grocer (totally makes sense). The inside is very clean, though not very large (about 4-6 tables, total seating for about 20 people or so). Nothing flashy or catchy, unless you count the big TV on the wall. SERVICE- you order and sit down. The person working the counter didn't appear to be too helpful, so if you don't know Indian food all that well, you may struggle a bit with ordering. MENU- Pizza, pizza pizza. They also had appetizers such as vegetarian puffs, chicken wings, and bread sticks. Sure these apps had "Indian" flavor, but you might as well walk down a a few stores and get Nee Hees if you want an appetizer. They divided up the pizza into vegetarian, paneer (type of cheese), and chicken specialties. The specialties looked appetizing, ranging form butter chicken pizza, to tikka masala pizza and even Aloo Ghobi pizza. FOOD- My friends and I tried the chaatpatta veggie crunch pizza and the chicken tikka pizza. The chatpatta came with a makhni sauce, while the chicken tikka pizza had, you guessed it, tikka sauce. We had a coupon to try free veggie pastries which were pretty tasty. Basically phyllo dough with a curried potato inside. We certainly enjoyed them. The pizza had a nice amount of spice to them, and surprisingly, I enjoyed the chatt patta pizza more than the chicken tikka. The chicken tikka was good, and my friend REALLY enjoyed it. They only have pepsi products (LAME) and like I said, you gotta buy your drinks because they do not offer water. We bought a 2-liter of Pepsi to help wash down the pizza. OVERALL- dig the "fusion" of two great foods. Probably better to take it to go, but certainly worth checking out. I hope this "fad" lasts. CELEBRITY RATING- Aaron Sanchez ("We represent THE FOOD NETWORK!")

This is a brilliant idea, executed brilliantly. Seriously, curry is my favorite thing in the world. Why NOT put Indian cuisine into the form of pizza? Whenever I get curry, I always order flatbread anyway - this just cuts out the middleman (or, in this case, bread). I'm vegan but this place offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy a curried vegan pie. It's awesome. Just. Delicious. It is unique and memorable in all the best ways. If you're not vegan, don't worry, they have a whole host of meaty options to take advantage of as well.

Really delicious fusion of Italian and Indian cuisine! I brought home the Chicken Tikka Pizza, Malai Paneer Pizza (cheese), and Pav Bhaji Pizza (veggie) and they all tasted authentically Indian (if not a little too similar to each other). The interior is small but very clean and quiet and is not really designed to be an dine-in restaurant, it's a take out place. Side note: I used to frequent this place when it was called Dhaba and served typical Indian dishes. I actually miss Dhaba and wish they hadn't closed even though I really like Curry on Crust now too. The owner/manager is very friendly and explained to me why they closed Dhaba (not enough space to accommodate the increasing number of diners that wanted to dine-in). If you're adventurous and like to try new foods then this is the place for you! I can't wait to go back and try some different pizzas!

You guys need to expand a bit on your indian cuisine, the butter chicken pizza is ok, but has no right to call itself butter chicken. That is not anything the average cook couldnt make at their house! I very easily could beat that at home. Besides that it is fairly average level food, not worth more than an occasional visit

Butter chicken pizza was outstanding! Just the right amount of spice and the pizza was fresh and hot upon pick up. The woman was so nice in explaining sauce choices. We will definitely be back.

Yum! What a great idea, combining my loves of pizza AND palak paneer. The crust was buttery and crispy, while not being too thick but not being floppy. The paneer had a little bit of char on it from the oven and was absolutely delish. I added mushrooms, since its my favorite pizza topping and had to restrain myself from devouring the whole thing. I also ordered the masala potatoes which were very undercooked, unfortunately. I cooked them some more once I got home but didn't really think they were anything special. For the price, I'd rather just get a second pizza for leftovers!

Flavor explosion! First visit. Chili chicken pizza was out of this world. The combination of fresh, crisp ingredients are refreshing. Not your typical experience after eating pizza. Your palate is cleansed and you leave feeling light vs. exhausted from an extreme cheesy, doughy mess! The naan crust is fantastic! Bottled water is a buck. Buy 2. You will feel the heat!

Easily the best pizza I've ever had. Friendly service and great fresh food. Indian pizza! Seriously I never even imagined it until I drove by but once I tried it I was hooked. If you like pizza and want to try something different this is your place.

We were excited to check this place out. We walked in and the lady behind the counter was assisting a customer. We made eye contact and after she failed to acknowledge us we awkwardly took our seats. She then proceeded to return to the kitchen and we assumed she would be returning to help us. After a solid 10-15 minutes of waiting including stading at the register in clear view of the kitchen (we still didnt know how ordering worked), we just left. This is the most disrespected i have felt in a resturaunt in a long time. Not so much as a welcome. We were excited to check this place out. The chilly chicken pizza was awesome. The Malai Paneer Pizza was not good at all. I definitely like the place for the variety they give to the usual pizza. And they have done a great job with the fusion! The services and prcing are the same as in any other pizzeria.

Indian food on pizza, a creative twist. It tastes pretty much exactly what you think it might taste like...your favorite Indian dishes on pizza. We've only been here once, had the chicken tikka masala and saag paneer. Both were very tasty. People are friendly, and price is very decent. Can get a bit crowded if you dine-in. Definitely a fan.

Not a huge fan of Indian food, but the spices on the pizza...amazing. Probably my favorite ever or top 3 for sure. Def the best in the area. Chicken Tikka for the first time. The second time, I forget the name, but it had chili powder in it. Great pizza

Let me start out by saying this place would have achieved all five starts if it weren't for two simple things: 1. The place is clean but small and doesn't appear to have air conditioning. It's best to call ahed and pre-order your meals. 2. Service is definitely without a smile. I like happy servers and the people working here remind me of sullen teenagers that rebel against the world. Ok, now for the good stuff.... 1. The masala potato wedges. These spicy thick cut potato wedges are lovingly rolled into a somewhat spicy masala sauce which provides a bit of a kick. I devoured about half right away. 2. Manchurian paneer pizza.......makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Probably one of the best pizzas in my life. 3. THe spicy veggie treat pizza. Veggies and a kick, need I say more? I plan to try each pizza on the menu and believe it may just happen this weekend. :)

I'm a big fan of their wings & the chilli chicken pizza. What I like the most (besides the toppings & sauce) is how they get the crust super crispy with out burning the pizza. Requires a little reheat after the drive but you HAVE TO stop by if you're in the area!

I love this place...this 'za is wonderful (I'm not a big 'za eater mind you) -- enough to make us drive from Ann Arbor every two weeks to get a couple of them (and make a trip to Randazzo's for produce, but I digress!) We've tried 5 varieties now, the butter-chicken is awesome so is the Chicken Tikka...Saag Paneer was great - loved the red onion, and with a shake of hot pepper it really hits the spot. We tried the garlic bread and it was garlicky-good, and cheap for 5 huge slices....yum. Not expensive for the high-quality you get. Staff are really friendly, seating room is small - is mostly a carryout place. If you do want to eat in, it's spotless, cute decorations, and lots of paper plates :O)

Go ahead... sing with me: I ate Chicken Tikka Pizza and I like it the taste of its sauce made me forget about chapstick, I ate Indian Pizza just to try it, I know my husband don't mind it. It felt so wrong, it felt so right. I do think I'm in love tonight. I ate Chicken Tikka Pizza and I liked it (I liked it)... Bad song parodies aside... Curry on Crust its super. After hearing about this place at the Yelp Newsletter, I dared my husband to taste this Frankenstein-like mix of his favorite food: Italian and Indian. The place looks like any average pizza takeout joint: brick walls, wooden chairs, a fridge filled with sodas, and piles of pizza boxes on the side. The counter is manned by the usual teen staff, no complaints there. The menu is divided in three categories, veggie options, chicken options and build your own. They also have some appetizers such as masala potato wedges, vegetables puffs and chicken wings, but on this occasion we decided to skip the fluff and go straight for the pies. We order a 10'' Chicken Tikka Pizza and a 10'' Butter Chicken Pizza. The flavors were perfectly balance, a tat spicy, a tat sweet and a whole lot of savory delicious. Both pies were filled with chicken bits, parsley, onion, and green peppers. The sauces did not overpower any of the other ingredients and complemented the cheese well. The crust was more bread-like than the one you usually find in a italian style pizza, and I like it. I am glad we try this quirky place, and although I don't think we will be coming often I will make sure to stop by whenever I feel like buying something at Ikea.

Curry on Crust is a refreshing change in the pizza world. I'm not a big fan of pizza to be honest, but this would be the place I would go to for the occasional pizza night. The pizza here was great! One thing I really dislike about pizza places is when they are dripping with grease. Compared to your average dominoes, pizza hut, jet's etc etc...it was better in my opinion, less greasy. There was also just the right amount of cheese, and plenty of toppings. The crust was average. It is significantly pricier, we ordered two large pizzas and our total was ~28 dollars. The best part about curry on crust is the fusion of indian food and pizza of course. The two pizzas we ordered were the Butter Chicken PIzza and the spicy veggie treat pizza. As soon as I walked in to pick up the pizza, I could tell that this truly is indian pizza by the strong aroma of curry. (warning, keeping this pizza in your car for 15 minutes will lead to your car smelling like curry for at least 15 hours) Both pizzas we got were very good. The spices were definitely indian. Out of the two I got I actually preferred the spicy veggie treat, it definitely had a lot more flavor than your ordinary pizza place. The butter chicken pizza was great as well, much better than pizza with chicken from other places as those are bland in comparison to the indian spices. What I liked was the balance between pizza and indian taste, the spices weren't over powering and there was just the right amount. I didn't give this 5 stars because only places I could go to all the time would get 5 stars, and it's a pizza place. Can't get 5 stars since I'm not a true pizza lover. Also I have yet to determine the consistency of quality at this place, first experience was good though! Overall I would definitely recommend this place if you are wanting to try pizza, but are sick of other typical pizza places.

I have been eating Indian pizza when I visit San Francisco for the last 15 years, so I was excited to find out about Curry on Crust opening near me in Canton. The Indian pizza choices in SF were either vegetarian or chicken, and that's it; 2 choices only. Curry on Crust has 25 different pizzas to choose from, plus the option to build your own. They are also a bit cheaper here as well. I have tried a #8, #13, #21 and #23, and they were all excellent. If you like Indian spices, you will like this pizza. I wish they offered whole wheat crust and were open later like a regular pizza joint, but those are my only complaints. Beware that they are closed on Mondays. This is a very unique place, and quite a treat to have it right here in metro Detroit. I will definitely be bringing out of town vistiors here for something they won't be able to get back home...

The folks from Neehee's have expanded into the world of pizza with huge success. I ordered on the second night they were unofficially open, so the place has to be stress tested for consistency and service under higher demand, but the food was EXCELLENT. I got a paneer pizza with chicken marinated in yogurt and "all the white spices": garlic, ginger, white pepper, etc. The veggie flat bread was out for sampling and it was fantastic too. I really hope this goes well for the owner, because it is an innovative addition to the growing diverse food offerings here in Canton.

I've only tried the Chili Chicken Pizza and the Eggplant one but both were delicious, fresh, inventive, and full of flavor!! I also tried the veggie puffs which had an amazing pastry like crush and ground veggies and seasonings inside. Very good. I love Indian food and I love pizza... who would have thought this would be the perfect combination! Hopefully they can expand and get a bigger dining area. Definitely good for take-out.

we got the achari veggie pizza to go, and it was really delicious! an interesting, unique, and well-balanced blend of flavors. and it was very reasonably priced. i wished i lived closer, so that i could try more of the many different pizzas. especially since they have so many vegetarian options. =)

What a cool concept! We tried a couple of pizzas - one with paneer and one with chicken. Both were delicious and (hurray!) adequately spicy. Also tried the masala potatoes for a side and those were delicious as well. I like my food to have flavor and Indian food sure delivers on that front. The chili cheese bread was sliced white bread with a cheese and chopped chili topping, which was tasty if a bit boring, but the cheese stuck to the wax paper separating the slices. It's counter service, like Neehee's. I ordered my food on the phone and came to pick up and there had been a mix up (which has also happened to me more than once at Neehee's, go figure), and one of the pizzas hadn't been made. So I waited another twenty long, hungry minutes. Finally I went up to the counter to ask, and even though I was sitting right there and was the only person waiting for carryout, my food had come out some minutes before but they hadn't bothered to tell me. I was annoyed and that's why they are getting three stars from me instead of four.

ahhhh!!! I shared a pav bhaji pizza with my sister, and we liked it so much that we each brought home another pizza (chicken tikka) to share with our roommates (and my roommates loved it too! When I woke up the next morning, they'd already beat me to leftovers for breakfast). They have their own secret recipes for the sauces, which are buzzing with flavor. The pizza CRUST was delicious even though it wasn't advertised as some special crust ($$$).

I should have reviewed this place a long time ago, but never got around to it. Curry On Crust is AMAZING. This place is so unique with what they offer. Where else could you find an Eggplant Pizza? They have toppings i can guarantee you won't find at any other pizzeria's in the Plymouth-Canton area. My orders always come out right, always get cooked right, and the list goes on. The only minor criticism i can even think of would be some of the side items. I didn't find the cheese chili bread or the potato wedges to be all that great. However, the veggie puffs are amazing. I've tried just about every chicken and paneer pizza they offer, along with many of the veggie ones. I highly recommend the masala eggplant pizza for any of you eggplant fans. They add some of the most delicious seasonings. They have ingredients such as mint leaves that add a ton of flavor. This entire concept of taking the traditional Desi recipes we all know and love and giving them a modern twist... just brilliant. This place deserves all of the good publicity and reviews they have received. When you walk in, you can actually see some of the Free Press clippings. Friendly staff and clean building to top it all off.

Whatever dude signed up on yelp just to give this place a one-star is weird as hell. Cmon dude you've never forgot about something in your entire life? I forget at least like 5 things a day! Even for a guy who likes both Indian food and pizza, this is a successful fusion that is hard to pull off. But they did it for the pizza I had (sorry can't remember the name). Perfect to-go pizza because the place is not that pleasant of a place to dine.

Called and tried to order pizza before heading down to Ford rd. They answered the phone and set it down on the counter. After 10 minutes of listening to the goings on, I hung up. No wonder they are always slow and the orders are messed up!

I was always of jealous of those hybrid pizza places always mentioned in American city drama shows or even Japanese dramas. This place knows what toppings work together to perfection. Tried the tikka chicken pizza it was great. Also tried their spinach curry with chicken pizza and it too was nice. Highly recommend, I can only hope what other topping set-ups they can think of with time.

I'm normally not a fan of fusion but this exceeded my wildest expectations. We had the tikka paneer and aloo gobi pizzas and they were absolutely amazing. The flavors were bold, complimentary, and never overpowering. They have perfected cooking diverse toppings without burning them, the crust, or the cheese, which really is quite challenging. I will definitely be taking out of town friends here. What a gem!

the malai chicken pizza is alittle salty for my liking, was expecting it to be alittle spicy hot. not sure if they provide chilli peppers to go. The masala wings are good. i love that amount of spicy and hot. This can 4 stars if they speed up take out. my wait is like 35mins for a take out. for a pizza place this needs improvement.

We tried this place out because nehees was closed. I'm glad we did. We ordered the paneer tika, spicy veg and those puffs. The puffs were not that great. The pizza was pretty good, kinda expensive though. I would go back again, and this time just stick with the pizza! The only problem i have is the price!
