Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Loved the food! Service was excellent. Prices were fair. A bigger menu is the only thing I would suggest.

We had a play to go to at the theater next door. Made the server aware we were on a tight schedule when we ordered a salad and two grilled chicken wraps. After 40 minutes and no food, we had to leave. On the plus side, they didn't charge us for the two sodas and one water we had. If you have a couple of hours to kill and you're not hungry, this is your place.

Last night, my friend and I stopped in for a beer and a snack. I really like the decor of this establishment, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. That being said, they could use a host table with a person to greet and seat you. When we walked in, the bartender told us to have a seat, and we waited to place our orders. We both waited for well over 15 minutes for someone to come and talk with us, so we could order some drinks and food. I was craving chicken tenders, while my friend wanted a nice cold beer to start with. After sitting there with no service for that length time, my friend and I decided to walk out. The place wasn't even half-full with people when were there. At the very least, one of the waitresses could have acknowledged our presence instead of making us feel like we were invisible. I don't think either one of us will go back there again anytime soon.

The menu online has a lot of vegetarian options, but when we got to the restaurant it was a different story. Besides the appetizers of mozzarella sticks, etc, there were no vegetarian options. When I asked the waitress if there were any more choices for vegetarians, she said they could do a salad with any type of dressing, or fries. Very disappointing. I got the mozzarella sticks which were just ok. Also they have outdoor seating but you can't have a dog with you, which knocks another star off for me.

First time here and the food is excellent and service great! Eclectic menu and good Martinis. I had the vegetable Wellington (fantastic) and my wife had the fresh fried perch (large portion, lightly fried and perfectly seasoned)! We will be back!

Will not return to eat. Checked out their website prior to going and sadly 1/2 of what was on there was not actually on menu, and then when I ordered something which was they did not have it. We had perch, which was good and chicken (slightly dry). Honestly I could have made it, and truly not sure if there was bacon on it. The mashed potatoes (did not want rice..thank God, since looking at my husbands "pilaf" it truly was not) were bland. I gave two stars because since there was no one in there (Im assumming by reading other comments) we received good service and they had a seasonal beer which we love.. made us wonder how they had it however since it wasnt in Season. I did tell waitress I wished I ordered simply a bowl of their seasonal veges. Those were yummy! Me and my husband did say that if we ever simply wanted a beer and watch a game we would return... they do have a nice big bar... not beer selection though

We have been here a couple more times and unfortunately I'm finding 502 to be unpredictable. Service has been mediocre, food has been inconsistent, and on one occasion, they accidentally served our four year old a very spicy bowl of macaroni and cheese. At this point, I'm sad to say I'm not compelled to go back for a while.

They are getting better every time I go. Service and food was rocky when they first opened, but I just heard from the new owners that they are going to FINALLY change the menu and setup to be more like a sports bar. Cheaper beer prices. A more manageable menu. Bringing in bands and specials. Perhaps dartboards, even, Since I can walk across the street to this place, I can't wait for these long overdue changes. Go in for the $1.50 sliders during games. Super delicious and a great deal! Plus friendly wait staff and owners. I'm rooting for you guys!

My fiancé and I decided to check this place out on the 2nd day of being open. Before we walked in, we walked to the wrong door...a sign or some indication of where the entrance is would be nice. Once we found the entrance, we walked in and about 7-8 employees look at us. Can I just say...AWKWARD. there was no host table and one person finally said 'hi' to us. I was taken aback by the setting because right when you walk in you see the bar and a whole lot of room and tables/chairs. There are at least 10 T.V.s throughout the place which is a plus for sport fans. We were told to pick a seat and given menus and water. I ordered the slider sampler(buffalo chicken) and my fiancé ordered the stuffed bacon and blue cheese burger. After waiting about 20 minutes, our food came out and after about two bites of the burger, my fiancé realized there were olives in the burger(which is a choice of stuff burgers but not what he ordered). When we told the waitress she was really nice about it and apologized. So finally when the burger arrived, the burger patty was smaller and chard well-done. I never knew a medium burger came out black and chard. The bun was soaked with grease and probably 1/3 bigger in size than the burger itself. My fiancés true opinion- "This taste like an average burger you fry in a frying pan at home...that I burnt." My dish was pretty good. The chicken was deep fried and their buffalo sauce/blue cheese was pretty good. It wasn't too strong in taste, which I like. Our dishes came with shoe string fries which were standard. In my personal opinion, McDonald's definitely has better fries. We both felt like this restaurant was more like a martini bar/club. I'm sure this place can be fun at night with friends...assuming they play club type music. As for the food, it's mediocre. Btw...the owner did not come by to apologize for the mess up. Or come up to us or any one else there grabbin a drink (mind you, there were only four customers total) to introduce himself and be personable. One would think if you are opening up a place, to say hi and get to know the customers. And when we paid, they brought back the receipt without my card. Once I wrote in the tip, they returned my card. Awkward.

Never heard about this place till I drove past it -- literally -- when dropping my daughter off at play rehearsal (at the Village Theater). Since I had a couple hours to kill I thought I'd check it out ... and I am GLAD I did! The place has more of an upscale feel and is very clean (bathrooms, too, which is my litmus test for a clean restaurant). I suspect that it wasn't very crowded is because I was there on a Tuesday around 7:30 p.m. I ordered a Fat Tire, which they had on tap (always a plus), as well as the chicken fingers with fries. Both were far better than your run-of-the-mill pub food. Wait staff was very attentive and very nice. They also mentioned that they have free Wi-fi, so next time I have to wait for play rehearsal, I know exactly where I'm gonna park myself! Looking forward to sampling one of their entrees.

There was two people in my party and we were here this past Saturday. We walked in and the first impression we got was that it's an awkward, understaffed place. It's connected to a small performing arts theatre and that was our reason for the visit, to have dinner before the play. The entrance is not clear and you will try a few doors before you find your way inside. When you do get inside there is a TON of empty and awkward space with no host stand of any kind. The bartender did greet us and we sat at the bar for dinner. The place had a ton of tvs which makes it great for sports fans. The menu was smaller but had a good selection and their draft beer selection was fairly impressive as well. There was no music on the first half of our visit which made the place even more awkward. (Music eventually came on). Now on to the food which took almost 45 minutes to get but they were busy with the theatre crowd. Regardless, They were still understaffed. I got the village chicken which was absolutely amazing. The flavor this entree had was extremely impressive and I'm already craving it again. My other half got the steak and no complaints there either. I will definitely go back to this place for the village chicken the next chance I get. I just wish they would step up the dining room a little because right now it's just a giant room with tables and chairs. All in all, amazing food in an awkward environment.

The dry rubbed wings are the best around! The other food is fine. Nice to have something close by. They have great deals during the week too.

Horrible experience, waited for far to long for our food and when it came out, my fries were cold and my hamburger was raw. Not worth walking in the door.

Nice happy hour prices and daily food specials. Service is very good. Nice quiet location (compared to the heavily congested Ford Rd. corridor).

So disappointed to have to give this a two star review. At first we were very pleased. They took a reservation on Saturday night and we were greeted pleasantly by one of the owners and led to a saved table. The waitress seemed a little frazzled when she took our drink orders but we were enjoying the games on the many tvs. Drink service was a little slow but she finally delivered our drinks and took food orders. After that things went really wrong. We had to ask more than once for simple things like sweetener and iced tea refills. About 20 minutes later we had to request the salads that came with our entrees. An hour after we arrived we asked about our dinners and the waitress started arguing about how long we had waited and said our food would be a few minutes. 10 minutes later we flagged down the owner who first apologized and then told us we were wrong about the wait. We finally got our meals 75 minutes after arriving at the restaurant. It is a real shame because the food is very good but we had to wolf it down or risk being late for a play next door. The owner came by to ask about our food, apologized and said to come back and he would give us a discount. For a moment we thought we might give it another chance but then he immediately negated his comment by trying to excuse the terrible service because "next time be aware that stuffed burgers take an extra 5-7 minutes." Ok so what were they doing with the other 60 minutes they spent preparing the meal. 2 rules of customer service. Don't argue with your customers and service will trump good food every time.

$15.25! 15.25! Yes, 15.25 was the total for our bill today! (2burgers, 2beers + dessert! Oh Yeah! On Sunday's they have this AWESOME special called Burgers & Beers for $5!!! We were concerned that that the deal was too good to be true, but was 100% true! Not only was the price outrageous the food was on point! They offered a half pound beef burger with traditional fixings and your choice of cheese. Plus they offered a wide range of draft beers to choice from. We upgraded my hubby to French fries instead of the homemade chips (extra $1) but the chips were nicely seasoned. Living on the edge we decided to order the turtle brownie alamode and it was huge, warm and decadent! The service was friendly but professional, the atmosphere was fine and there were a few families and couples in there hanging out. It had a nice neighborhood feel but you can tell it could be a nice relaxing ok place for professionals after work. We live in the area and this was a place we have been wanting to try for. 2 years! We plan to go back on Wednesday and a few other days to try out their other specials. This is our kinda place! Go 502 Grill! We are rooting for your success send welcome to The Village! Keep up the good work!

My wife and I just moved into Cherry Hill Village and wanted to try out the grill since it was so close. The place is large on the inside and not very well set up. There is a neon back-lit martini bar at the back of the room, and tables and chairs spread around up front. It's all just one big room with no divisions of space and no intimacy. The food was mediocre. We both opted for the stuffed burgers and both felt that the stuffing was mostly missing and lacking in flavor. I ordered a side of mayo for the burger and was really put off by the sickly yellow color it was. The fries were unimaginative standard bar fare. I picked a hard cider on tap from the menu, but they were in the middle of switching to something else so it was unavailable. We probably won't be going back. There are better options around.

Kudos to the owner who is keeping this place alive. My husband & I live in the village and we're excited to try this place. At first we were disappointed that the branding was so obscure. We are in advertising, so we are harsh critics. We felt it could be a solid upscale sports bar. The food was great, husband ordered the burger and I had the quesadilla. Another time we dined there I was not impressed with the lettuce wrap, it tasted like something I could whip up at home. We tried it several times and always we're greeted well and food seems consistent and tasty. Seems there is some weight to the booth comments. Would love to see some private seating areas. We will be there more often now at they have dart boards, live music and a juke box!!! The best part is we can bring our son with us.

Decent food. I've been here a handful of times, but never on a weekend night. I have never seen it very busy. Seems to be having a slow start.

Stopped in for dinner with my boyfriend and son the other night. The place is ok but nothing that really jumps out. I wanted to give this place a four star rating but a few things hindered my decision to do so. We ordered the fried green beans with wasabi sauce for an appetizer and I've got to tell you they were pretty good. Especially the wasabi. Just the right amount of spicy/tangy/creamy. For our main course my boyfriend ordered a burger and said it was fantastic! My son ordered a grilled cheese and fruit cup he didn't really eat the grilled cheese, partly because he wasn't that hungry. I ordered the "grilled" chicken and veggies. It also comes with a rice pilaf I believe but I swapped those for extra veg. My chicken is one of the reasons I couldn't add another star here. It says it's grilled on the menu but what I received was definitely CHAR GRILLED! I order chicken quite frequently while dining out and when I order it grilled I expect it just grilled. I'm not a fan of the char on my food so it would've been helpful to know how well done it would be before ordering it. This is a matter of preference and it could've even been a particular cook that night. I didn't send it back because it was getting late and I really didn't want to have my family wait for my dinner. Aside from that, the veggies were delicious. Outside of the food, there were some other great qualities about this place. When you walk in, it's has a very open feel to it even though it's on the smaller side. It's tastefully decorated. The bar area looks very nice. Not cluttered but crisp, clean and modern. I did wish they had booths instead of all tables, I like the cozier privacy of a booth. I was surprised that it wasn't busier given that we visited around 6pm on a Saturday evening. Prime time for weekend dining yet there were only 3-4 other tables and 2-3 people at the bar. Maybe the place gets busier a bit later. The only other thing that bugged me was the service. First let me say that on one end our waitress was prompt and courteous...but watching her and the other servers it just seemed like they were either bored out of their minds or just not very happy. I didn't see smiles or laughs or anything. There was no personality there. Ok, I know it's not a servers job to have some spectacular personality, but when you're dealing with customers it's a giant plus to show enthusiasm and positivity. It gives a place a much more energetic and fresh feel. I'm a stickler for great customer service so this stuck out to me as a negative. I'm sure there are plenty of others who didn't think so. I am still interested in going back here. Maybe on a weekend date night. It would be nice to try again and order another menu item.

Meh. This place is okay. The food was good, but the service was below average. It also seemed like they left tables dirty for longer than I am used to seeing. I might return but probably just for carry-out.

I visited 502 within their first week of being open and had a great experience (no waitress or ordering issues like some of the other reviews mentioned). Upon first glance, I was impressed with the trendy decor and varied menu. I'm a pescetarian and there were a number of fish and vegetable options for me. I tried the calamari appetizer which was very good (not too greasy, not too seafoody) and had red peppers and aioli sauce. For my entree, I got the vegetable wellington which was kind of like a veggie and cheese puff pastry. It was tasty and much more food than I could finish in one sitting. It came with rice pilaf that had grilled portabellas in it and even though I don't normally like portabella mushroom THIS PILAF WAS THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD. Like period, I would go back for the mushroom pilaf alone. My date liked his entree as well so we will definitely come again. This grill is in a great location for downtown Canton and I was really excited to hear they were going to offer music and dancing on the weekends. There is enough style and space for 502 to become the next big "club" in the area and I hope it brings more 20 somethings and activity to Cherry Hill Village.

First of all, we live in the village and are very excited to have a new restaurant in the neighborhood and were eager to try it out. I have to say we were pleased with our visit this evening. The kids chicken tenders portion was huge and it was real batter breaded chicken, not frozen tenders!! They came out with fresh and hot fries. My husband and I couldn't resist helping the kids with their dinner. I ordered the chicken piccata with veggies. It was cooked perfectly with a light tasty lemon butter sauce. My husband ordered the buffalo chicken sliders and he was very happy with his meal. We both ordered side Caesar salads. The dressing was homemade and very tasty but they were a little small. That would be my only beef. Overall, we were very happy with the meal and service. A couple of words of advice to the owner..I don't think people know you are open!!! Send flyers, put a sign outside, etc. A few tables outside would be great for a quick drink. Maybe they are still working on getting the word out and working out the details. We will be back!

Oh boy. Friday night, big night out right? Well, not here. I'd like to walk to a place but the 2 minute walk may not be worth it. It took 10-15 minutes with a basically empty place to start. Then the group of performers "Jessie James" started up. I hate to say it, I know they want people to like them, but a jd would do better. Hey, maybe a jukebox. It's like the engineering on their set was off. The treble cut huge gouges into my head. The only reason I'm here is that I can walk home. Once again, they will close their door. Not sure if they get it. I have a reason to come here, I live 2 minutes away. I'm thinking a small plate joint, hire an actually chef to do the food other than a line cook. Give me some quality food to eat here. Not left over chicken for the day before in the wrap. Per cooked chicken becomes dry and nasty. That's the review. I may not like it, but it's the only place to try to get some trim that's walking distance to my place. So I'm stuck here drinking ONLY! Meh!

Finally, A good place to eat in Cherry Hill Village. Good atmosphere that is nice and easy to talk in but with a couple of TVs on (not too loud). Good wine and beer selection (hope to see even more Michigan beers soon). The flavored butter that came out with the bread was really good. Heard some of the bread is from Holiday Market. They have grilled or deep fried mac and cheese. Both good, I liked the deep fried better. The menu looked good, I tried the stuffed burger (I believe most restaurants can be judged by their burgers). The best burger I've had since "The Pub Burger" at CMU. Chef Kevin came out and talked to us. Food is all fresh and will have lots of flavor.

I also am puzzled by the negative reviews. Went there last night, bartenders were nice and attentive, beers were relatively cheap. I personally didn't eat but my buddy got the sliders and they looked pretty good. Only negative would be that the fries came out kinda cold, no big deal though

Wanted to check out this place as a potential place to come for a few drinks. It is very nice inside, modern trendy decor. The bartenders were attentive and made decent drinks. The bar was very dead for a Friday night. Seemed like most of the people in there were friends of the owner or bar staff. The owner did not appear to have a clue about how his bar is run. Overall it was an ok experience. We had a few overpriced drinks and left. If I came back I would drink beer, as a shot costs 7.75 and a rum and coke costs 6.25. I can get better drinks and more fun atmosphere elsewhere.

I debated between three and four stars for this review. I think I recall coming in to the restaurant when it was a martini bar... It was pretty empty (I came in on a Tuesday evening) and I sat at the bar. The bartender informed me they had a special on Taco's ($1/piece) as well as a few new appetizers one of which happened to be mini tacos. Given I was hungry I ordered the mini tacos. Despite the small number of patrons, service was pretty slow but after awhile I received a large platter of mini tacos that were covered with cheese and served with an ample amount of sour cream and salsa. I have a sneaking suspicion that the taco's were not made at the restaurant (I could be wrong) but they seem to be the kind that you can purchase at Costco, GFS, etc. They weren't bad, they just weren't anything magnificant. I can't complain about the price during happy hour prices. Two glasses of wine and the appetizer wsa $15. Not bad! They have a lot of menu options. Sandwiches, burgers, fish, pasta, wraps etc. They also have a few vegetarian options (vegetable wellington, portobello mushroom sandwich). The restuarant is large with a "Night club feel" to it. They also have a lot of TVs. Parking is ample along Cherry Hill and near the condo's. I hope it does well and I will be back!

I am writing this review as we are about an hour in the wait for dinner. The waitress did the best she could do but seriously, our group did not necessitate this long of a wait for really basic fare. One member even showed up 30 min in and received his food almost immediately while we continued to wait. We saw other tables come in, get served well before we have any service. Poor. Side salad took approximately 45 min to table.
