I know Brian's Family Restaurant isn't a Michelin star rated restaurant, which I probably couldn't afford anyways, but it has wonderful comfort food for a very reasonable price. The waitresses are fantastic! After asking how your food is, the waitresses are consistently watching their customers to make sure they are satisfied with what they ordered and that their beverages are filled. For great comfort food at a very reasonable price, Brian's Family Restaurant is the place to go.

Omg... so bad. Getting 1 star only cuz i have to. Food was bland and visualy unapealing. Waitstaff, all 3 of them, were less than cordal and seemed flusterd even though there was only 6 tables seated in the resturant, including our family. By the time we got home both my wife and i felt less than awsome. Now, the next day, we are both spending a large amount of time in the bathroom. At least the kids didnt get sick, probably cuz they had fried food. Wife had grilled chicken and i the meatloaf. There will not be any returning for us.

OMG I wish I Yelped before walking in here. I had to take a wicked wiz so I figured I'd have to buy something. The clientele was all singular super elderly men and women nearly all unresponsive. All picking slowly at their food, expressionless and no conversation in the place. The waitresses were skanky and counting tons of cash on a booth table near the exit. Why worry of robbery? Mr. Tudball wouldn't get but to the front door before getting tackled by one of the waitresses! But I actually ordered a cheesesteak. Then I used the bathroom. Ugh. Urine on the floor and just a little more disgusting and old than the front of the store fixtures and design. I now have my bagged cheesesteak on my front seat but I'm very very scared. I opened and ate...pretty lamo cheesesteak but I compare all to real Philly ones. Grilled chicken sliced in strips with cheese sauce, tomatoes, lettuce, very little peppers and onions? Sacrilege.

Great home cooked food at reasonable prices. Quick and friendly service. Large portions. Extensive menu plus well priced daily specials. Breakfast all day!

The service was horrible. The attitude of the management was terrible. Even though they were requested, no manager ever showed up at my table to address my concerns. The quality of food was very mediocre. They seemed much more concerned about filling a take out order from GM than the customers in the place at the time. Our server even mentioned this to be the reason it was taking so long for food to come out. I will NEVER eat there again and I encourage others not to waste their time and money there.

I gave this place a second try after having a bad experience the first time. Unfortunately it was no better. Interestingly they have invested in a lot if technology (waitresses use headphones, HDTV scrolling menus, etc). This does not mitigate poor quality food or service. The meatloaf I ordered was like mushy dog food. In fact, I took it home for my dog.The cucumbers in the salad were mush and lettuce wilted. They did not bring me the vegetable or bread that was supposed to go with the meal. They waitress only showed up twice: to take the order and to bring the bill and she was slow at that. I never got any refills. When I left multiple employees were out back smoking behind the place which is not something you want to see with people handling your food. If anyplace could use a chef Ramsey turnaround this is it. I usually root for the survival of these local non chain restaurants but this one is definitely off my list. I do hope they can turn things around.
