The Best neighborhood bar in town. You can always find a good time in this bar. They offer 3 nice pool tables for you to get your game on. They host 8ball tournaments every Wednesday night and 9ball tournaments on Sunday evenings. On Sundays and Mondays they feed you for free during the football games. The crowd is always interesting and friendly. The bartenders are all very nice and know how to pour a mean drink. Its Old Elk Grove's version of Cheers.

Nice clean Mcdonalds! New large clean tile. Very sharp.
This was the greatest McDonald's I've ever been in. Full of handsome men and fresh fries.
I hate fast food, but is was traveling all day, and I just wanted something of substance. Grabbed a southern style chicken sammy with extra pickles. Crunchy fried chicken taste of perfection. Popped an antacid tab immediately after, and the rest of the evening was awesome. I can't attest to the inside of this place, but the drive thru was quick and friendly and well lit.

Sought out based on Yelp reviews. Glad I did! Great sandwiches. Fresh salad. Delicious beer. Don't want to judge a book by its cover - especially this one. Glad we stopped in instead of eating around the outlets at lame chains or going into the touristy Frankenmuth downtown. Easy on, easy off of the highway.
This place is easily accessible, but just off the beaten path where you are not fighting with outlet mall traffic or Frkmth visitors. This place is inexpensive, but the food was not great. It was good enough. Definitely a place for locals, 1/2 dozen loud and drunk locals that swore a lot were outside where we sat. Not a problem for us, but I can imagine some parents having an issue with it. I don't think I would visit again, but I'm not mad at the $24 bucks we paid.
I have been to Beamers quite a few times now and have not been disappointed. I love their nachos and how they pile them high. Ingredients are always fresh. They stock Boars Heads meat and fancy cheeses so the sandwiches are top notch. During the week they always have dinner specials, drink specials and even events like trivia night and karaoke. My favorite is when they offer the brushetta appetizer, which is like a little pizza. It is not a menu item, only a special they offer once in a while. My husband loves it when they do all you can eat pasta because then we can just drive down the road instead of heading into Saginaw to Olive Garden. You should really stop in here if you are in town. If you need a drink, they stock a full bar - many of which are Michigan craft beers. If you ask nicely, they'll even let you have a sample taste if you are unsure of which one you'd like to try.

I get tired of most fast food joints because they hire mindless teens that could care less about you or your dinning experience. But I found a pleasant surprise here. The staff was mostly older and take great care in making sure we were happy. Plus I think Mr. Sanders works here. He has shaved off the goatee, but ya it might be him!

The staff was very quick and courteous and patient. The food came out quickly as well, and it was the best Culver's I've had. The fries were very crisp and fresh, and my chicken sandwich seemed very fresh as well. The food is a little bit more expensive than other fast food restaurants, but you get what you pay for as the proportions were larger than other restaurants. My only complaint is that our concrete shakers were too melty and grinded, and my Twix were hard/stale.
Yum! Culver's is a great stop while traveling. The burgers are tasty, everything is served hot, and refills are free. You order and pay, get drinks and they bring your food to you. The kids meal cost a bit more than typical fast food but are good size portions, include custard, and can be ordered with applesauce instead of fries. My husband and I like the single butter burgers. We both got meal deals that included fries and drinks but upgraded one to onion rings and it was worth it!
Good chicken tenders,but pretty expensive.

Good pizza and much more.
LOVE Uno! Their deep dish pizza crust is the " BEST" ever! This is ALWAYS our Birch Run/Frankenmuth go to restaurant. Got the shroom pizza on my first visit & it was sooo good, that I have never ordered anything else. It is no longer on the menu, but is usually available upon request. Their chocolate chip skillet cookie is also "GREAT!" Service is usually pretty good. GOOO!
It's a chain restaurant but it's the ONLY restaurant near/in the Outlet Mall. Be sure to check out the "pick 2" dinner menu. I was able to pick a salad and personal pan deep dish pizza for under $10! It was a steal.

We wanted something quick and easy that wasn't your typical chain place and that we'd never been to...I saw pizza on the sign and it sounded good so in we went. The menu was much more extensive than I'd imagined and it was tough making a decision...so I left it up to hubby! It's a place your order/wait for your number to be called/pick up your food yourself place and it took a good 10 minutes to get the pizza (which seemed longer than it was since we were hungry!) but overall isn't bad for fresh pizza. We had the Hawaiian and it was pretty tasty--not the best and not the worst--but definitely good. Since there was no waitstaff and only a pickup window, it was a bit awkward to get a to-go box--you had to go up to the window and wait for someone to see you or shout at them to get their attention. I took a quick look at their specialty beer and wine section, and it all looked nice (good presentation), but didn't seem an overly impressive selection. We'd definitely eat there again if we were local, and if I could I'd give them a strong 3.5 stars, but am rounding up due to the extensive menu and non-chain-ness of it.
Went here after a morning of Christmas shopping. The place was clean and the staff friendly. I got the turkey club on sourdough bread and a soft pretzel. The sandwich was excellent and the price was right. I would definitely recommend this place.
Wish we would have found it on our way north instead of south so we could have went twice!

The food is great and they have some fun drinks. Will look forward to this being one of my new favorite Mexican restaurant.
Great food and service. Clean. Mislabeled one pic of fried ice cream. The seafood Chimi and burrito loco were great!!! We will be back.
I actually like this place, it is big and they do have a huge menu, I personally like all the choices. The service has been great and friendly both times I have been here. I will certainly be back.

Food was on point at this location and always is. Our server was awesome his name was Lonnie. He checked on us several times topped off our water and was very kind and smiling. The manager came by to see how we were enjoying our meal. Great experience. Will be back!
Depending on how busy they are is how good their food will be. I suggest not to order steak their at all. Every time I do I am disappointed. My steak is usually rare when I ask for medium. The quality of the steak is horrible, its tough and I have to choke it down because some of the sinew or something always is hanging up in my mouth. Who knows maybe its because I am hungry, really hungry and I don't chew my food properly. From now on I don't order any steak from Applebees. I do suggest the desserts as they are really good.
Everything has always been good! Sample platter!

Halo Burger

Reviews:
I'm torn between four and five...we'll go with five For fast food pretty awesome.. My first time having Halo burger. I've drove by a bunch on my way to Frankenmuth, but never stopped before. I had heard some people are really hardcore fans so why not.. I got the olive burger which was pretty tasty, the meat somewhat reminiscent of In-n-out. Actually I think beyond not having a cutesy secret menu, Halo could give In-n-out a run for they're money. I really liked it. Two others in my party got the QP and fries. One liked it pretty well; the other just okay. My mom got a chicken bacon salad thumbs up from her. I also tried the chili not bad at all, pretty tasty. My boy got the hot dog and fries thumbs up from him. I stold a few fries let me tell you, they are darn good and tasty. . All in all , Halo burger is good wish there were more in the metro area.
We came here on the way home after a weekend up north and a long drive home. We stopped here to stretch our legs and grab some food. We were to tired to drive into Frankenmuth, so we swung into Halo since I had been to Halo before for a Yelp event some time ago. I had good impressions of Halo because I was impressed with their food after the event. When we came in, we reviewed the menu since the BF had not been here before. I told him most anything he gets will be good, and that the QP is their standard burger. He went with that and I got the chicken strips. We split an order of tater tots since we are both big fans of them. The food came out and the chicken strips looked like something out of a bag. They seemed generically cut and bland. I don't remember what they looked like at the Yelp event, but the strips from McDonalds look more lively and real. The chicken tasted fine but it did look generic. BF enjoyed his meal, but eating here isn't what it was when I went to the event in Troy. I can't put my finger on one single reason, but it just had more of a fast food feel to it, instead of something more personal with the food from what I remember. If I was in the area I would eat here again, I just wasn't as impressed as I was from previous experience. It doesn't feel like the passion is there. Prices are acceptable and the food is decent, but it tastes like just another fast food burger joint. If it had been warmer, I would have gone for one of their Boston Cooler, but it was too cold outside for me. Overall, it's just okay, but I am willing to give them another shot.
Are they called Halo Burger because eating one of their burgers is a religious experience? If that's the case, well, it's not. $7.30 got me slightly overdone fries with absolutely zero salt, an okay burger, and a bottle of water that apparently was dropped on the ground (the cap had some black sludge on it with hair). I guess I'd rather have no salt over an inedible kill-a-slug amount, but a little would have been nice for the fries. I got the Olive Burger and it was fine. Nice and hot so the cheese melted, but the meat to produce ratio is a bit off... a lot of cold vegetables and just a small hot patty. I would have also liked more than seemingly three or four halved olives on my burger. It was alright (comparable to Wendy's, probably a bit better), but not great. One of the better fast food burgers I've had at a very reasonable price for a combo, but how about some salt for them there fries, huh? ... and cleaning the floor. Eesh. Aaand updating the place a little bit, I swear it's like a little slab of the slums of Detroit right in Birch Run. I'd go back, but it's nothing to rave about. Local's good though, right?
