We were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and service at this restaurant, located between Gladwin and Edenville in a building that's seen several ultimately failed businesses come and go over the years. There's nothing fancy on the menu -- think basic rural diner -- but we enjoyed excellent breakfast sausage sandwiches on rich, flaky biscuits. Good coffee too. The restaurant itself is clean and bright, and the service was friendly and welcoming, and our waitperson was not fazed by a special request. There are very few dining choices for travelers on the long stretch between M-61 and US-10, so we hope this establishment fills that need, develops a regular clientele and does well. We are looking forward to trying their dinner offerings very soon.
