I don't know how Pat and jerry's can get anything less than 5 stars, for the price, service and food it's a win-win. I went there twice while in MI and will go back every time there. The buffet is $7.25 and all the food is fresh and homemade not like any other place I have been too for double the price. The pies are baked fresh and by hand daily.........go and try this place you have nothing to lose. Also the lemonade is made by hand.........5 people,4 drinks for 46.00 including tax.............. awesome!

A decent local restaurant with menu service and a buffet. Most of the selections are good, and there's a decent-tasting steak for a good price. Service is usually very good.

I liked the food here, they have a good buffet for lunch with various pastas, salad bar, soup, and stuff to make tacos or a taco salad. They also have really good cookies and desserts. It's very affordable if you're looking to not spend a lot of money. Very casual dining atmosphere. Good service, friendly wait staff. You have to pay up front after you get your bill, and the line can get long up there which was annoying. I have only been there once, some of my family love it there. I would go back but won't go out of my way to go back, just because it wasn't special, but they are a nice little place.

It's was ok, we order breakfast and the eggs were over done, the hash browns were barely ok. I noticed they have baked goods, I don't know if they bake them, but u had a glazed donut that was fantastic.

I always went there years ago went today again, well wasn't very good the guy waiter asked how everything was and I told him the truth and he acted like he was insulted why did he ask then , I said well the roast beef hash was salty and there was some raw potatoes and raw onions in it , I could of told him the eggs tasted like rubbing alcohol and toast taste stale like it sat forever but I just left it , and food portion was like half size then it used to be , won't be back after his attitude

Sadly the food is decent here but service is the worst. They take care of their regulars and seem annoyed if you are not a regular.

We had the mediocre Friday night buffet, which was overpriced Then ordered 2 mashed potato bowls to go. Which was priced at 7.50 each. We got home and opened up a small to go box with a pile of corn stacked on 4 tbls of potatoes. And 4 skimpy pieces of fried chicken. I am so disgusted!! I live in the neighborhood and I will not return!! Plus, 2.00 for a cup of coffee. I didn't know we we're living in Bloomfield hills!?

A fantastic "Mom & Pop" diner. I've come here so often, I've become a regular. Great food and very low price. Service is always great, and I have yet to ever have a bad meal here. Their morning breakfast is fast and excellent. Always a great place to stop before you take that long road trip or just head off to work. Their lunch and dinner menu has a wide range, so everyone can get what they want, even the kids. Their buffet is always a big draw (how can you resist an all you can eat Walleye buffet?) When you enter, the resturaunt is devided in half. To the right, the original part of the resturant, is the "diner", the feel is still like the original "Mom & Pop" feel. To the left, the expansion (happened years ago), has a more resturant feel (with booths and such). Continue through the left into the 2nd expansion, and you have a larger dinning area. Wide open space that quick easily house very large groups (we stopped by here after a funneral - and although we didn't have reservations, they easily let the 20+ of us sit together).

Eh. Wasn't busy at lunchtime but took over 30 minutes to get food. Waitresses were on the ball for coffee refills. Just was wondering if they had trouble catching the chickens to get eggs for the omelette.

Best Doughnuts, and baked goods. I always get my doughnuts here. Better than any place in Saginaw.

Just had them cater our wedding reception. Everyone loved it! Great chicken, ham, potatoes, stuffing, and oh my god, the pies! We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for caterers!

I used to go here in the late 90's when I lived in Midland in the area. I discovered it working at Dow Corning, and kept coming back. At the time, it was inexpensive, good, local food that fit my tastes well. Years later, I still end up there with friends when I'm visiting. The place hasn't changed in years, and frankly, that's something I admire. The regular food is good, the buffet is decent, and the desserts are still sinfully delicious. I may have changed since getting older and moving out of the Midwest, but sometimes I miss comfort food and non-pretentious service[0]. They have a nice mix of good old meat and potatoes dishes, as well as Michigan foods that didn't seem exotic until I left Michigan -- like fried freshwater fish[1] or pierogies. Probably the best place to eat in Auburn, and even worth the trip from Midland or Bay City if you want decent American food that isn't a chain. [0] Ok, I ALWAYS miss non-pretentious service. [1] Seriously, nobody on the East Coast knows the wonders of smelt, walleye, perch, etc. battered and fried with a side of french fries. Then again, it's probably better for my heart that I can't get this stuff easily.
