We get their food delivered all the time! They have excellent food here. I love the butter flavored crust you can get on your pizza. My favorite thing to order is a ham, bacon, and cheese calzone, it is so delicious I can't even stand it. Then comes the breadsticks, oh my, they are SOO GOOD! I like their regular ones a lot, but their cajun breadsticks are the bomb!

Good stuff. Fast, friendly. Too bad it's in such a bad spot and kind of a pain to get to. I would go there more if it was in a more convenient spot. They deliver .... But then you get north of $10 for a sandwich with a tip.

Great spot! Was in the area for an event and saw the parking lot was packed so I knew it had to be good. Despite its popularity, we sat right away at the counter with no wait. I got the Hickory Turkey Burger with homemade potato chips. Good meal. Came out relatively quick despite being uber-busy. Will be back!
The food is good, the people working there are super friendly. Must have the grilled cheese burger. Bring an appetite as there is always plenty served for each guest.
Typical old school diner...good food good prices. Really good variety of food on menu. Breakfast is solid. Burgers are good too

Standard breakfast diner fare. Nice wait staff and standard prices. Offer a10% discount to GVSU students that pushed it into 4 stars instead of three. Eggs were a little under fine and the bacon was floppy and very fatty. My wife and I split a large breakfast and added a couple eggs and we're full after. They offer snickers and reeces pancakes which is an interesting option, but to sweet for my breakfast.
Not bad for a quick meal. Prices are appropriate and the service was ok. I would like to go back and try more. Maybe lunch instead of breakfast.
Get the seasoned potatoes..fantastic! My cheese omelette was a little greasy and left more to be desired, but other than that this place is great! The owners are wonderful people.

Favorite spot for lunch or dinner! Even my 12 year old asks us to order take out for dinner before any other restaurant. Every noodle dish is so delicious we have a hard time deciding which one to order.
This place has my favorite fried rice dish ever.! They use Thai basil in at least half their dishes, which I love. No complaints, just good Thai food.
Good food for the money! Definitely the closest thing to good Thai food in Allendale! I haven't tried much besides the Pad Thai and the Masaman (both very good) and so I can't give an accurate rating of the entire menu but the service was good and my food was good!

Best chicken alfredo I've gotten from any restaurant ever!
Certainly one of the few places to eat in the Allendale area. Lots of TV screens and Keno to enjoy. As far as the food goes it is pub food. The entrees are terrible. I ordered fajitas and they were still swimming in oil. On another occasion I ordered a burger that came out to me raw. The manager then proceeded to tell me that we have different ideas of what "medium" is. The burger came out two minutes later scorching hot with my bite still taken out of it. Service is usually terrible expect a few minutes after getting seated for you to order your drinks. Friendly staff but they are not good at what they are supposed to do. I tell myself I will never go back but it is one of the few choices in Allendale. Now I only order drinks and stay away from the food.
Good location. Food OK, service spotty and management indifferent. I understand they have an 'unwritten rule' that the waitresses should be tipped 25% regardless of the quality of service-- Too many other places to spend one's time and $$.

This Taco Bell restaurant was recently put in near GVSU. When I went it was very busy. There were several cars in the drive through line and there were scores of people inside. I went through the drive thru and it took a while to get to the window to receive my food. I went during happier hour (2-5pm) and received $1 baja blast and $1 loaded grillers. The grillers were generally fine except the ones that had beef in them. They tasted very strange and I couldn't finish them. The building is new and in nice condition. The staff are also nice. The downside is the quality of the food, but you get what you pay for.

Peppino’s Ristorante

5053 Lake Michigan Dr
Allendale, 49401
Reviews:
It really isn't authentic Italian, but it's not bland either. I honestly like the pizza better at the Ristorante than when you order it take out from the Peppino's Pizza, but it is not the best pizza ever. The portions of pasta entrees are big and generally I end up taking home 2-3 nights worth of warm-ups, which is nice when you are a poor college student and usually come home too tired to cook on most nights. Plus, parents and younger siblings like going here and it is close to campus.
For Allendale, MI I guess you really can't expect too much when it comes to decent Italian food or pizza. But there really are a lot better places to get your chow down on and they're all infinitely better than Peppino's. I found most of the food here to be pretty bland. A lot of the pasta seems like it comes out of one of those Bertolli bags where all you have to do is cook it up quickly and push it onto a plate. I seriously doubt that's the case here, but Olive Garden is more authentic than this stuff. As far as the pizza goes, for its price I don't think it's all that bad... but again there are better options for the same price range. If you were really into pizza day when you were in elementary school and think that hot lunch pizza is the best thing ever, you'll probably like what they serve up at Peppino's. The crust is basically just bread (which I realize is not necessarily that bad... but it should be somewhat different...), the sauce is probably just tomato paste, and the cheese is kind of rubbery. I'm not big into doing this but I actually use napkins to soak up some of the grease for these suckers. There's really just that much. Yuck-o. Night time here is rockin' for the college set though. The sports bar side can get pretty packed and for those who are drinking it's obviously nothing but fun. You can order up some fried munchies to snack on and absorb some of that beer/liquor - screwing up the basic bar food is kind of difficult to do. Drink prices are reasonable and if you get in good enough with the bartenders they can pack a punch too. Check out the party scene if you don't want to leave the Allendale area and drinking is in order. But if you're looking for some good Italian eats, drive on in to Standale instead and hit up Uccello's. Seriously.
My mom and I came here for lunch a few times. One time we had the spinach and artichoke dip for an appetizer. We each had something different for our main meal, but both of us were sick later that afternoon, and we concluded that it was from the spinach dip. Our server was the bartender who had her small child in the bar running around and bothering tables. Wouldn't have been a big deal, the kid was cute, but she was so preoccupied with him that we didn't get very good service. This was a few years back, hopefully they got rid of that terrible day bartender with her obnoxious kid! We haven't been back, wouldn't know. They also don't have much to offer on their lunch buffet, and they don't keep it stocked well at all. Few varieties of pizza, a meager salad bar, breadsticks if you can get them fresh, pasta dishes that aren't kept fresh, and a dessert pizza. Their take out pizza is mediocre at best.
