Altho everything else on this town was closed down and it was quite a ghost town. This place was refreshing.. on point with the salad bar.. and french dip was ohhh so good.. the table was sticky tho and could use a really good cleaning all round..

For this restaurant to still be in albion and going strong, they must be doing something right. Had their meat pizza, hand toss. It was amazing. Staff is decent, but the food is what makes this place stand out. Highly recommended. I would travel from anywhere to have their pizza.

Stopped here for Bloody Mary's before a football game at Albion College. Bloody Mary's were spot on! Got the Swiss Burger and cheesy bacon soup- really delicious! The staff was friendly and Jim Bob, the owner, was super nice!! Classy establishment!

This is a pretty good restaurant. I've never had a bad meal here. Obviously by it's name the majority of the menu is Italian themed but they have other options such as French Dips, burgers, etc... Their pizza in my opinion is quite good and they also have a bar. There isn't a whole lot of options in Albion for dining so in my opinion this is probably the best option and it's located right down town. During the school year it tends to be a bar hangout for Albion College kids some nights. It's family owned and operated which is a plus for me. If you're in Albion it's worth a visit.

Today, I Came in sat at the bar the bartender noticed me as I looked at what was on tap. Made my mind up on Oberon and made eye contact. Then a man came up to the bar and she asked him right away what he wanted and poured his drink. The started talking to a what looked to be a regular and staring at me not saying hello or asking what if like. -Another man walks in and she goes right to him right to and ask what wanted to drink. Seems to me this girl thinks men will tip better then a lady. I also work at a restaurant nearby and have heard of this place for years and was excited to finally check it out! Will never go back and will tell my bar guest about this experience...no matter what sex they are, in the order of taking a seat!

Nothing really stood out to me at this place. Been here a couple of times and the food was just ok. Not bad, but nothing to rave about. Had the "Alexander J" Ciabatta Sandwich and a bowl of chicken noodle soup on this visit. They were both decent and homemade, but the ingredients were definitely sub-par; in particular the meat. Downtown Albion is pretty sparse for food and Cascarelli's is probably the best I saw. Seems like it had a decent bar and a couple of flat screens for some game watching. Wait staff was very nice and service was quick. Soup and salad bar looked like a good quick lunch option.

Went with a group of about 15 people on a cold rainy day after a soccer game at Albion College. For a group our size, the service was outstanding. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. I had the French Dip sandwich with a couple bowls of their outstanding Clam Chowder. I'll be back next time in town...

Cascarelli's or 'Rellis as it is called by people who live in Albion, is the one restaurant that has been able to survive the economic downturn that has hit Albion as it has many other towns in Michigan. While the ambiance is somewhat lacking (it is very dark and even a bit dingy esp. in the dining area behind the bar) the food is pretty good and the atmosphere usually pretty upbeat. (Lots of locals who all seem to know each other). Our favorite for dinner is definitely the pizza--we especially like the veggie pizza. In a way I prefer 'Relli's for lunch: lots of good sandwiches to choose from and often times good lunch specials. The service is always reliable and quite fast. No complaints there.

Long time family business. Great food, try the breadsticks! And the pizza is outstanding. The service has been great each time I was there. Drinks are good, too. Definitely worth going there when you're in town.
