If you like authentic New York style pizza this is the place to go. Many different menu options including calzones, breadsticks, and quite possibly the best Greek salad around. Got to have the cheese sauce with your breadsticks!

Best bakery in town.
Not only are these the best donuts in town, they are the best donuts in the world! We live in a huge city with many choices for donuts and NONE are as good! If you live in Adrian you are soooooooo lucky. Have one or three for me every day! :)
great donuts tho if you get there after 9 am the varieties are limited. wish they would make more chocolate.they go the fastest. Help is sometimes non-customer friendly. Do have counter seating with a waitress; not just takeout.

Had a BLT pizza last weekend and it was the best one I've ever had. The toppings were so fresh, alot of bacon, fresh tomatoes, and the crust was superb. Highly recommended. Can't wait to have another one. Really hit the spot. :)
I cannot believe this place is not been reviewed get on Yelp you Adrian people are behind on yelp. This is Adrian's oldest longest-running pizzeria. It's darn good pizza that's all I'm going to tell you you try it and decide for yourself If you're visiting Adrian and staying in one of the motels don't order from one of the stupid chains try Pizza Bucket. No pizza place in Adrian has been around since 1969 continuous... although Dominos runs a close second. I know the name Pizza Bucket doesn't sound great, but it's one if those hidden gens. And I apologize for the lack of Adrian area Yelpers to give you people who are not from the area more insight into what we have.
Best Pizza in town! Cleanliness inside the joint is not the best, but the pizza is wonderful. It would be great to see this longtime, hometown favorite get a little renovation on the inside.

Sunnyside Cafe

The best mexican food around! I drive up from Ann Arbor every so often just to come here. Everything I've had from the giant burrito covered in their outstanding meaty sauce to their tacos and enchiladas and tamales have been nothing but delicious!! Their cubed beef is amazing in anything, especially the burritos or chimichangas. They also offer fresh salsa and chips to munch on while you look over the menu. They have daily specials as well! Overall my favorite mexican place I've been to so far! Amazing!!
It's been a million years, but the Sunnyside is a bright spot in the otherwise culinary wasteland of Adrian. Always loved their food, and love that it's a family run joint.
Food is always amazing. When we want Mexican this our number one choice. Service can be a little slow but with a packed house almost always it is plenty fast

Cancun Mexican Restaurant

Really enjoy coming to this place! The food is great at a great price. I always get one of the combinations, which never disappoints. The margaritas are also very good... I've had more than a few to say the least. The parking situation could be awkward... seems like if the place is crowded it can be tough to figure out where to go. Wouldn't want to get towed for parking somewhere I shouldn't.
We were visiting out of town and found this place on Yelp. First impression was it is a quant Mexican restaurant. You sit where ever you like. So don't stand around like an idiot waiting to be seated like we did. The hot and cold salsa was "interesting." But my wife and I agreed the cold was far better. The hot just made the flavors mix together too much and created a less "fresh" taste. Ordered the Cancun Fajitas for Two. Portion size was very good. Temp was just right. The only thing I could say negative is the meat was a little over cooked (aka dry). My wife would add the Mexican rice was bland. She is a huge Mexican rice fan and knows her stuff. But overall the food was very good. If the temp is cold outside, bring a coat. A bit cold for us. Others didn't seem to mind. The servers were attentive, although I think she saw me on Yelp so that might have "motivated" her. She didn't let our drinks run out and even had a short conversation with my wife. You can't really ask for more out of a restaurant of this type at this price point. I would recommend and visit again.
They deserve their ranking!! Super friendly and terrific food at a great price!! All good here!!

Went on a trip that started in Chicago where I saw the first Culver's sign. I didnt know they had one in Michigan, so when I saw they did I wanted to stop in and try it. I am so glad that I did. I ordered the French Onion Butter Burger and OMG it was AWESOME!!! It was only a special, but I took advantage of it while I was on my trip. Even when I returned to Chicago, before my flight home I stopped and got one for the road...er I mean sky ;) Wish there were some in California
Never had a problem here! always fast and i love there food!
Took my wife there for a night out. I had cheese curds and a fish sandwich. She had burger with fries. Fish sandwich tasted like carp from the raisin river with less flavor, the curds had no flavor either, reminded me of chewing on pencil erasers back in school. Wife's fries were limp but at least tasted like fries. If you go, stick to the custard, the food is marginal at best.

Mario’s Mexican Restaurant

921 E Beecher St
Adrian, 49221
Reviews:
Mario's is a prime candidate for Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. A little tacky, a little grimy, but nice people, good service (when it's not too busy), and good enough (by Mid-West standards) Mexican food. A couple of major short-falls on the menu are no tamales and the utter lack of desserts. My sense is that the owners are rarely in the place, and were it not for some very reliable employees the place would be a disaster. It really could use a top-to-bottom steam cleaning and new furnishings. Suspect that the owners may have other interests or obligations and are just using the place as a cash cow.
Mario's is the best Mexican food in Adrian. The service is always good even though the place can get pretty busy, the rice is fantastic, and the enchiladas are worth sacrificing a kid for. Really. They're great. I'm not a huge fan of Mexican food, really, but Mario's is the exception. Their complimentary tortilla chips are enough to keep me coming back. I wish they had a bar, but that's okay. It's a great family restaurant. (Oh, and they cater. The tamales? A grad-party hit.)
Good Mexican food. I enjoyed some very tasty chicken fajitas (the meat was very nicely marinated with just the right level of spice), and it was a big plate - far more than one person needed for lunch. Reasonable prices, nice staff. Not nearly as sketch looking as some of the other yelp reviews indicated.

Absolutely delicious chinese food!! I drive from Ann Arbor every so often just to get some affordable and tasty food. Service has always been great whether I dine in or take out. Their combos are great and so cheap!! Everything I've had here has been nothing less than delicious! I can't wait to make my next trip to China garden!!
Ordered sezuan chicken. Asked for spicy.... not even close. Fried wonton soup and the egg rolls saved the three stars.
I was glad to find this place because I was really excited for some chinese food. Pretty good stop. :)

Had breakfast at JR'S this morning. Had something called "the garbage bowl " and it was outta this world. Home fries on the bottom, topped with sausage, peppers, onions and two eggs on top. Served with toast on the side. So yummy. Highly recommended. Would definitely order again. Loved it.
My new girlfriend at the time...who would become my wife reported she had the best Salmon of her life here when we went here while dating. This place was very popular as they opened before the smoking ban as a non smoking resturaunt. Good food at fair prices. I don't go often as I should because they do not make my drinks as spirited as I would like for the money they charge. Bartenders are always changing so it's hard to get a "regular" that takes care of you cuz your a " regular " and they know you tip well. But don't let that stop you. The food is very good and the logistics on how this place is run shows professional ownership and management. The Prime Rib is yummy.
Great food! Big burgers and tasty appetizers Cold beer in bottles and on draft. Large eating area and very good service.
