Great bar sketchy chow. The pizza and grinders here are pretty good but that's where it ends. The fish and chips is straight out of the frozen foods section at Hannaford. It seems everything is straight up prepared foods and hardly ever seems fresh. R he bar is a great place to grab a brew and have a pizza. Good selection of tap beers but it could be better. Seems a little short on Maine beers.

This one of my family's favorite haunts. My wife and I go here on a regular basis, enjoy some pizza, a few beers and play two hands of cribbage. I am a big fan of the tossed salad with the house Italian dressing. It just seems like a good blend of herbs and oil and vinegar. I usually get a pizza and here are two interesting tidbits. When ordering mushrooms you can get fresh or canned. I prefer the canned since the don't dry out when the pizza is being cooked. If you think the crust is too thin as I do, you can order the double dough pizza. Yep, twice as much pizza crust. Don't expect to get blown away with some crazy kitchen workmanship. This is just a straight up family/neighborhood eatery that I happen to like very much.

Love their Catalina pizza! Pats also has great fries. I also really love their milkshakes and I'm super picky about milkshakes.

Though the food is good, the take out room is nasty. Last time I went in to pick up a pizza, the plastic storage units for pastries was caked in dust, and the Pepsi cooler for drinks had mold inside. Makes you wonder what the kitchen is like...

We were in need of food about 11:00 at night and Pat's was the only thing opened. I ordered a meatball hero, what I received was Kennel-ration on a roll. The sauce barely covered the blobs of meat being passed for Italian meatballs. Gray, soggy and totally inedible, even though I was starving. My son had chicken fingers and fries. The chicken was hard, as if they were re-heated several times, or maybe under a heat lamp too long. The fries were limp and soggy. We will NOT be returning.

My wife ordered a small pizza. She liked it. I ordered a pepperoni calzone. The calzone was very good. Garlic bread was well-portioned and cheaply priced, but was under-cooked. It was more like bread with garlic butter than the toasted garlic bread you expect in a pizzeria. If you want a side of extra pizza sauce with your calzone they charge you $1 for it. That's one of those nickel and diming things that annoy me, Service was fast and friendly. Restaurant was clean and well-maintained.

$8 lobster rolls. Killer Calzones. Cold beer. Our server, Rachel, was as polite and sweet as can be ... easy on the eyes as well. This was also my Pop's favorite place to go for his pizza and beer.

Pat's is a go-to restaurant in town. They have a mixed menu with a core of great pizzas. Separate dining and bar area with bar crowd at happy hour. Family Friendly. Food: The pepperoni pizza is great and we often get spinach, red onion, and sweet sausage. Bottom Line: Pizzas are a little pricey and worth it. This Pats has the service and taste that the original Pat's was started with. Enjoy.

Ahhh, I love you, Pat's Pizza. I grew up in the next town over, so I remember the days when they served you thin-crust pizza in the dark basement. I could eat Pat's each day of the week, for some reason it never gets old. I admit I have never sampled a pasta or sandwich dish, yes, I'm that stuck on the pizza. My family and I even put up with the often painfully slow service at the Sunday and Monday pizza buffets. Pat's is a great hangout spot for getting together with old friends. It is one of the first places my family goes when my brother visits Maine. I appreciate the Gifford's ice cream selection they have at the restaurant, as well as the multiple televisions... even in the bathroom! Pat's, you have a special place in my heart.

This pizza is abysmal. The crust tastes like cardboard--it has no flavor, and is tough, thin, and dry. Literally, it is cardboard. We have tried most of the pizza places in Yarmouth and none of them are good, but this is certainly the worst. The only plus-side is that they deliver and no other pizza place does. It is also open late so if you ever have late-night munchies, I guess this is worth it. Actually, probably not. Honestly, I think I would rather eat free cardboard from my basement then spend money on their cardboard pizza. We have never eaten inside the restaurant so I can not comment on service or cleanlienss. I still think, even if they have stellar service and the place sparkles, it is not worth your time.

I have been to the Pat's Pizza in Orono, Auburn, Scarborough and the Old Port in downtown Portland (which is my favorite by the way). This location on the outskirts of Yarmouth was pretty good! I like the food at Pat's in general and this trip did not disappoint on a busy Sunday. We ordered the chicken nachos and the jalapeno poppers for appetisers for our large group and, although you could tell the poppers were frozen, they still were pretty tasty. The chicken nachos were very good also with lots of veggies on the plate to give some extra flavor and depth to the plate. A buddy of mine and I split a large flatbread pizza and it was delicious like normal with a slight difference than what I am used to with Pat's ... the crust was a bit more doughy than I am used to and I am a usual fan of the crust having a little crunch on the outside. The main drawback is the fact that we had a large party and we wanted to listen to the Bruins playoff game and they told us that the volume is not allowed to be turned up here because it was a family restaurant. (I think that volume was up on the bar side of the house). Any of the other Pats I have been to have the sports games loud and proud so this was slightly dissapointing seeing as this was a large group we brought to the restaurant to partake in the game and celebrate a friends birthday. Other than that, the waitress was great and the beer was cold.

Love pats. We know what the food will be like it's very consistent, the whole menu is worth trying. New fav is the baked haddock. Best I ever had it will surprise all seafood lovers. Pizza is good always. Staff really cares and makes sure you have a good exp.

We just moved to Yarmouth a few days ago and were told that Pat's is a local institution, so when we needed an easy way to get lunch for ourselves, our kids and our movers we figured Pat's would be the perfect solution. We ordered a plain cheese for the kids, an everything for the dudes and an Italian hoagie to fill in the gaps. Pat's is the classic New York style pizza: thinnish crust, floppy and foldable when you pick it up, lots of cheese. The everything pizza had so many toppings (including ham, bacon, pepperoni, the usual veggies and olives) that the box must have weighed five pounds. The hoagie was about nine inches long and was adequate for two adults. The kids were happy, the moving dudes were happy (it's their hometown favorite) and the husband pronounced it overall "not disappointing." I have to say I don't love New York style pizza, so I only tried a bite of each and found it to be completely typical and unremarkable--like the husband said, not disappointing (though he does like that kind of pizza) but nothing special. I think Pat's is the place all the families take their kids after a ball game or where you get pizza for your teenagers, but not where you go for amazing pizza.

Love Pat's, it's our default place to go for dinner. The Pat's combo pizza is delish, so are their breadsticks, french onion soup and pie's. Great local place and good pub-type food.

The place was busy but not packed on Friday night. The waitress listed their seasonal brews and even helped me get a "customized" meat lovers pizza with onions and mushrooms. The pizza was incredible and can retain it's title of 'Best pizza in Maine', at least in Yarmoith, Maine.

I've been going to Pat's in Yarmouth since I was a kid, and I've always loved it. I even prefer it to the original in Orono. The pizza is great (and the other food ain't far off), the waitstaff is always friendly, and the atmosphere is very relaxing and homey. Plus, they've got Gifford's (read: the best) ice cream just outside. That said, some of my friends hate Pat's. I've never understood why. I think they're stupid. But I guess there's a chance you're stupid too. In which case, maybe you should try Romeo's (bleh). God bless you, Pat's of Yarmouth. Please don't ever change.

Pizza was ok, overpriced for what you get. Thin crust is soggy in the middle, right out of the oven. Watery toppings, especially the fresh tomatoes. Younger customer service folks were friendly and pleasant taking orders, but older woman behind counter never smiled or said a word when taking money, etc. Could use some training? Just because it is a popular local place doesn't mean you can forget about being friendly to customers. Don't know if we will be back if in the Yarmouth area, not a great value or experience.

Good pizza selection, good service, plenty of TVs - this place is a very solid restaurant, and family friendly to boot. As the name suggest, this is place known for their pizza, it is great. Hard to beat a traditional Maine lobster roll for $8. I came here and had one, and it was delicious even out of season. These guys don't just do pizza well, check out the rest of the menu!

Pat's Pizza is a Maine institution and last night was the first I had dined at a location other than the original spot in Orono. The Yarmouth location has more of a 1980s bar feel than the 1950s soda fountain feel of Orono- tacky green carpet, oak booths, many TVs, a full bar and a pizza buffet clearly target a different crowd. Thankfully, the pizza is the same. Thin, almost non-existent crust, dough that tastes similar to Greek pizza and delicious pizza sauce make Pat's pizzas a winner. We split a small cheese ($5.85) and a small, sauceless Grazia pizza ($8.30 with pesto, marinated artichoke hearts, chopped tomato and mozzarella), which were both fantastic. Be aware that the dough is slightly too spongy to handle multiple toppings, so anything complicated will probably be a knife-and-fork job. Service was absolutely fantastic, with our cheerful server ringing all the bells acknowledging us, taking our drink orders, advising us on the status of our pies and being quick with the bill. Bottom line is that if you like South Shore bar pizza, go out of your way to get some Pat's.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
