It's unfortunate but the Harvest Moon is Out of Business. Great pizza just a bad location. Would love to see them in Damariscotta

Harvest Moon Pizza just catered my daughter's graduation party. The pizza was out of this world. There were quite a few varieties to choose from and all of the ingredients were delicious and fresh. Bennett and his crew arrived right on time and got the pizza oven fired up and also set up a neat serving station. Along with the pizza there was a fabulous salad which everyone enjoyed. All I had to provide were the drinks and dessert. This was my second time having Harvest Moon cater a party for me, and I can not recommend them enough. Be prepared to be impressed! Sincerely, Lisa from Scarborough

While this may be the best pizza in Waldoboro, I've had too many problems with the pizza myself. I've had the margherita, goat cheese and allium pizzas.....they all have something in them I'm allergic to. I don't have this problem with other pizzas, but I do have some preservative/chemical allergies. Just because something is organic doesn't mean it's preservative free, as I've learned the hard way. I grew up eating Neapolitan style pizzas cooked in coal fired ovens. Harvest Moon's pizza look good, but the taste isn't there. The crust isn't right, and there's not much flavor. But then again, Pepe's of New Haven, CT is a tough act to follow. I was so hopeful when this place started up, but I can't come back if the pizzas make my throat swell up so I can't breathe.

Best pizza (hands down!) I have ever had growing up in the midcoast! My personal favorite is the beets, brines and spice pie but honestly, I haven't ordered a bad one yet!

Spectacularly good, locally sourced food presented as pizza with truly super local brews make Harvest Moon Pizza a great place to get great food. We have eaten here twice since it opened two weeks ago and have been impressed both times. The kids (7 year olds) love the Maine grains crust (which is a healthy, but excellent mix of Maine grown white and wheat flour) with either simple cheese or the Alium Aquitani (wonderful local sausage, local ricotta, and carmelized onion pizza). They have a nice selection of beer including beers from Oxbow Brewery in nearby Newcastle Maine and Sheepscot Valley Brewing in Whitefield Maine. The addition of Harvest Moon Pizza to the Waldoboro Downtown cements the renaissance that was already starting in this small Maine town. Housing prices are getting young people to move here and the transformation is exciting.

What a great find for terrific pizza. Made from all whole food products from Maine. The dough is made from natural ingredients milled in Maine. The toppings come from local farms. Put that altogether with clever and deliciously paired combinations snd you have a winner in Harvest Moon in Waldoboro. We ordered their cheeseburger, pepperoni and alimante pizzas. So delicious! We sat in the back room and had friendly service. All the staff are pleasant. Last time we were in the chef/owner stopped by to chat. A great place. Ask for "share" plates so your group can taste all the unique topping combinations. This was our third time and we will definitely be back! Regrettably, i didnt order the night's special -- buffalo chicken and blue cheese pizza! Hopefully it will be a selection next time.
