I've driven by this place for many years and finally decided to check it out. Although it's a House of Pizza, there are many other selections on the menu. You order and pick up from a window and can see right away that the kitchen is kept very clean. I had the Lasagna, my wife had the Chicken Kabob Plate and my youngest had an Italian sub. I was skeptical that a Greek-style restaurant could produce a lasagna worthy of this Italian American's picky tastes. They sure exceeded my expectations. I received a huge plate that featured layers of ricotta, mozzarella and provolone with lasagna noodles and a fresh, delicious gravy that was loaded with chunky red tomatoes. My wife had the chicken kabob and loved it. The salad that came with it was nice and fresh. My 10 year old destroyed the Italian sub and left little behind. The bill for the meal and sodas was around $30. Great quality and value for the price. Also, it's obvious that the owners support many local sports and high school teams as there are pictures and memorabilia all over the walls. A business that supports the community is a big plus, and unfortunately not common enough these days. In my book that takes the Standish House of Pizza from 4 to 5 stars! As they say - it's more than a pizza place.

We really didn't expect much, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and delicious, with generous portions and very good service. Also, they have Moxie (definitely a plus). If you are in this area and looking for somewhere to have a sub, try the SHOP. We didn't try the pizza, but maybe next time.

I came here because 4 of 4 reviews were 5 stars. I didn't try subs, but I just got a regular ol' large cheese pizza. It was very blah. It was typical greek pizza, typical (Your Town Here) House of Pizza. I was hoping for better based on the reviews. Too much cheese of sub-par quality. I wish I had tried elsewhere.

AWESOME Pizza!!! You HAVE to try their Buffalo Chicken Pizza. Their sandwiches are VERY good and I Highly recommend their Chicken Fingers... Take the time and stop in and you will love this place!!!
