I love this little place! My sister lives nearby and I make her take me here whenever I come to visit. The staff is super nice and very knowledgable. I love all of the natural cruelty-free face & body products as well as the food section. Hooray for One Earth!

I stumbled upon this place by accident and was very happy. I love that Health Food stores are sprinkled throughout Maine, some in very random places too! The staff here were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and they stock great products. Looking forward to going again next time time im in Maine.

As I write this, I'm lunching on their homemade tofu egg salad. So freaking good. I stopped by there today and the nice lady was making some delicious smelling burritos. This place offers a fairly good amount of natural meats along with meat substitutes. In addition, they offer their own baked goods and take home meals. There is also a section for beer, one for pets, and some home cleaning supplies. In all it is a well rounded, clean, nice store. They are very helpful and friendly, and it is wicked nice to have them so close to my house! Edit: last time I was there, the owner made fun of my taste in food and refused to order something. Maybe she was just kidding though.

Very friendly and very knowledgeable about food. Excellent selection, and many of their prices rival Hannafords. They have produce, meats, flour, beers, herbs, pet needs, and a massage parlor on the second floor. The owner is SO nice and helpful. Support it.

Love the place too. Ditto on all the other posts, but @ Tim, I'm not entirely sure that "massage parlor" is the 100% accurate term for what's going on upstairs; though, I've never been.

I decided to walk to One Earth for the first time (turns out it is a pretty 15 minute walk). I was pleasantly surprised. They had local meats (in the frozen section). I decided to get some stew meat to keep on hand. I also got some snacks and iced tea. They have jewelry from local artists and even carry beer (!) They are open 9-5 on Saturdays which is nice. I also thought the prices were very good. Support a small local Maine business. :)
