Talk about a throw back! Yikes. All of a sudden I was like 12 again & eager for a cold creamy ice cream cone! This place is just plain cool. Chipper group of kids @ the order window too. Fresh Maine lobster roll? Sure! Shake? Float? Sunday? Italian grinder? Ok they have those too. The lobster roll had mayo, lettuce, s&p comes w a tiny bag o Lays- very fresh & a decent size. My coconut chocolate almond hard ice cream was exactly what it should be- yummy! The salted caramel pretzel was delish too. So many flavors but so little (calories) time! Get in your vehicle of choice & indulge bcz it's all worth it.

The cookie monster is amazing! Two wonderful chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream sandwiched between them, and then dipped in chocolate. It doesn't get any better than this. A contender for my last dessert on earth.

Dairy Corner rocks! They have amazing flavors and make an amazing thick shake! I'm a huge fan of "Chocolate" and their chocolate is REALLY good!!! The staff is always super friendly, too!

Scream worth screaming about There are lots of ice cream, frozen custard and fro-yo places open near the beach in the summer. Some are bad, most are decent and once in a while you find one very, very special. The Dairy Corner is one of those special places. It's been around for quite a while and it never seems to change. An occasional new, funky and weird flavor but still the same look, same scream and I swear, the same people. Actually that's not surprising because this place is so good that everyone that happens to be in Scarborough probably stops here. The lines get long but most people are friendly and pleasant and the nonstop and interesting conversations make the waiting pleasant. The menu is vast with all kinds of different options. I cant even begin to describe all the different and cool things they sell. I have seen people standing on the side for a long time deciding what to get. Doesn't really matter because everything here is great. They even have some picnic tables and chairs outside on the lawn so you can enjoy your scream outside. There are lots of ice cream places in the world. Some old and cool and some new and trendy. And some like The Dairy Corner that are very, very special and always will be.

Wow. This place is amazing. I wish I had the foresight to look at the menu before my next visit ( dairycornericecream.com/… ) -- it took me a good ten minutes to decide what flavor to get. Their flavors range from banana to coconut almond bar to honey graham explosion (see what I mean about deciding what flavor to get?). They also have sugar and dairy free options as well. I was tempted to try the sorbet but decided to throw caution to the wind and subject my lactose intolerant self to some soft serve (NO REGRETS!). They pick one flavor to serve as soft service every day. That day is was black raspberry. It was amazing -- hands down the best soft serve I've ever had, and it made me wonder why I haven't gotten soft serve in so many years. You can get it on a simple sugar cone or enormous waffle cone. It also comes with those awesome plastic ring that prevents drips. Yes, I still need it.

ok. whatever you think you know about creamy, flavorful, salty and sweet combined into a fantastic full - mouth icecream experience, you haven't tried the coffee cake icecream at dairy corner in Scarborough. I got a double scoop on Sunday. First bite in i knew i was going g back for more. in fact, by the time I got halfway through I was at the window ordering a quart of the stuff!! It was about $8.50. Truth be told, I'da dropped a $10. Cinnamon swirl vanilla icecream with pieces of coffee cake and cinnamon crumble. Lord have mercy!! Go there! Buy some! Thursday

A great place for ice cream with outside takeout windows, which offers 42 flavors of hard serve ice cream plus soft serve ice cream (vanilla, chocolate, lemon custard) and yogurt too. The menu offers a very extensive list of cold treats including sundaes, fluffernutters, parfaits, Nor'easters (flurries), thick shakes, malts, floats, ice cream sodas, mocha yoloca, slushes, waffle cones, banana splits, frozen bananas, ice cream sandwiches, frozen pops, sorbet seltzers, ice cream cakes, and much more. There are fun kids sundaes such as the ET (peanut butter fudge hard serve, hot fudge, pieces, & whipped cream), Lion King (twist soft serve, jimmies, & animal crackers), and Muggle Pie (peanut butter, red raspberry with a sponge cake shell on the bottom with vanilla soft serve). Besides cold treats, the menu offers hot dogs, pizza, cold bulkie sandwiches and wraps including lobster meat, drinks, and chips. The lines here were very crazy over the weekend on a very sunny mid-afternoon. I waited for 10 minutes to place my order and got my sundae in 3 minutes, which was so good and definitely worth the wait on a hot Maine day.

I love ice cream. Not just any ice cream. Premium ice cream. And "The Dairy Corner" delivers. Though the measure of great ice cream is usually good old-fashioned vanilla, I opted for a flavor I could not get anywhere else. In this case, I tried a flavor recommended by other reviewers...Blueberry Cobbler. This should more appropriately be called "Blueberry Pie" ice cream...and to its credit! This vanilla-based ice cream has generous chunks and swirls of homemade, fresh-baked blueberry pie. And these are tiny, tasty Maine blueberries...not the larger New Jersey variety...and thus sweeter. This is ice cream making raised to art. Achieving this flavor in particular is no easy feat. Who would have thought you could create ice cream without freezing the blueberries and filling into icy bits? How do you manage to include this delicious homemade pie crust without losing its delicately flaky texture? Well, "you" can't. But The Dairy Corner can. And does. Well.

Friendly staff and very generous portions. If you get a small it's like a normal medium. Great that you can put two flavors into a small. I tried chocolate and mint chocolate chip. Pros: Mint Chocolate chip was green. Cons: The chocolate tastes like it has coffee in it. Verdicts: It's not Gifford's but it could do. ;)

Dairy Corner represents the nostalgic days of school vacation during the summer. My childhood best friend lived right down the road and we would make repeated visits when we hung out. Now: I actually still really like Dairy Corner. While I am a less frequent ice cream consumer, I choose this place first! They have a whole HUGE list of options, including Pine Point Party, which is my current favorite. The employees are pretty much all high school/college students and I've always had really great service. The line keeps moving, they are friendly and not standoffish, polite, and you get your ice cream treat in a timely manner. While this isn't the gourmet experience you might get at a gelato joint downtown, I really love the simplicity of the Dairy Corner!!!

There is no way you can't give this place 5-Stars! They deserve 10- Stars! AMAZING Maine tradition on a hot summer night ... soft serve with chocolate Jimmies! The staff is so nice and patient, great quality soft serve too. Who cares about the calories, it's delicious and you can't get soft serve like this anywhere else in the world. Thank you for making our summer nights so memorable.
