We ran across this wonderful find quite randomly by just noticing the handmade sign at the entrance to the ferry parking lot. We had the pad thai and masaman curry that were both excellent. The pad thai was deliciously prepared with fresh spinach and cabbage on top that you mix in yourself with chicken cut beautifully and spiced just right. Masaman was yummy as well. Our kids had the hot dog that we thought were actually quite better than average. We wish we had come across this place a lot sooner during the week so we could taste more of the offerings.

Where to start, the owner Sue was very kind to us. One of the friendliest people I've met. I got the Pad Thai Chicken which was delicious. We also tried the Fried Rice Chicken which was just as good. While eating you get a perfect view of the harbor. We will definitely be coming back again on our next trip to Maine!

My favorite kind of food is Thai, so my boyfriend took me here as a surprise:) I liked how it was a little seaside shack, and we could sit outside, rather than in a dark restaurant, to enjoy our food. The owner, Sue, definitely makes the place, too:) A sweet, little Thai woman, she warmly welcomed us as we approached the shack. She offered us a bite of some curry she was cooking while we ordered, and told us her best dishes on the menu. I'm vegetarian, and I was happy to see there were plenty of options for me. I got her famous pad Thai, and my boyfriend got the chicken fried rice. Both were delicious, with fresh cilantro served on top. The freshly brewed, free-refills cup of iced tea was a cherry on top:) As if that wasn't enough, when we finished our meal, Sue came over and gave us a to-go box of the curry she had been working on! Aside from our happy bellies, we left with happy hearts and a new friend we look forward to returning to! I definitely recommend supporting sweet Sue and trying some of her yummy home cooked food. I think we'll be back soon! Thanks Sue!

I really wanted to like this place. Reviews were good, particularly the pad Thai which is a dish I love. Hers was so oily as to be inedible. After a few bites it went into the garbage. Maybe others like it that way, but I will not be back.

Tucked between the Rockland marina and ferry terminal is the Thai Tugboat. What's more surprising than its location was the Pad Thai that I had, what a find! Great lunch...quirky but spectacular ambience. Perfect for a sunny afternoon bite.
