We came upon this quaint little diner on our way back from Sebago, and am so happy we stopped! The waitresses are very to the point so be descriptive and ask for what's exactly on the menu. My boyfriend and I ordered coffees, two eggs, hash browns and bacon -- $11, total, and we were out of there in less than 30 min. I was hoping we would be sat in the beautiful sun room to the right, but I'm assuming that they didn't have it open because it was a weekday and probably not as busy as Sat or Sunday. Can't wait to go again!

Went to the new location for the first time. Overcooked eggs and potatoes.....not impressed at all....think the food has gone down hill!!

Danielles definitely deserves better than 1 star. I've never had overcooked eggs here and I ate scrambled eggs there this am, but of course overcooked eggs are possible. Plus I had homefries, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 toast for $5.50. Furthermore if half of the last reviewers (7/4/11) meal was great (the cc pancakes) doesn't that deserve at least half the score?! As far as the homefries go they are the thicker, more natural cut homefries and they are lightly seasoned and cooked in olive oil....a healthier meal than the deep fried homefries.

This place seems to have gone downhill... We got our food within five minutes - and it showed. The eggs were under cooked and everything else was too greasy. We both now smell like grease it was so thick in this place. I doubt we will go here again.

Great place! French toast from homemade bread - can't get better than that. Pancakes as large as a regular-sized plate. The egg dishes were enjoyed as well. Definitely a place we will return to when in the area.

My first impression of the place was good. The dining area is well decorated and the overall feel was welcoming. our family of four was seated immediately and service was attentative. Coffee... good. I had high expectations for breakfast given that the experience was positive thus far. I ordered the sausage omlet, hubby ordered... can't remember, and the kids both order the chocolate chip pancakes. The plate came and I was so disappointed! The omlet was overcooked and the homefries where the worst the I have ever had! The potatoes must have been partially cooked ahead of time (understandable). They literaly quartered them and grilled them in oil (NO SEASONING) and put them in the plate next to the overcooked omlet. They arrived at our table swimming in oil, not crispy, and no seasoning! The kids pancakes were great I must admit. So the only way that I would ever go back is if I were craving pancakes. Other than that, we'll be skipping this place.

Since they moved to a new location closer to town the Diner has gone downhill. This morning we waited a half hour for our food, with only four tables, having breakfast. When the food finally arrived it was cold. Had to ask for butter. Toast served very dry. Some loud mouth was talking so loud, no one else in the Diner could have a conversation. this was an obvious issue to us and others but nothing was done. Waitress looked haggard. Even the coffee was warm and not hot. My family has been having breakfast there for years. We will not go back to the new location and either should you.

Really, not that great. Perfectly serviceable eggs and home fries. The woman who took our order got unnaturally upset when my husband amended his order a moment after he made his first order. She huffed, tore off the order sheet, rewrote the entire order, and never spoke another word to us. Guess they are less than warm to Massachusetts diners or something. Also, too many flies flitting around, and a sticky table top. If this is the best the Sebago Lakes region has to offer for breakfast, I'll stick with cold cereal at home.

My husband stopped here for breakfast and had a great meal so we went there for lunch hoping to have the same experience. We ordered crabmeat sandwiches and waited for 10 minutes. When the plates were set down in front of us I couldn't see any crabmeat in my sandwich. I took a bite and it tasted like dark meat tuna mixed with a ton of mayonnaise mixed in and it was warm...like it had been sitting out for hours. My husband and I were both physically ill for several hours afterwards. Now when we drive by this place my stomach turns. Yuk!

Oh my goodness! My husband and I went here for breakfast Saturday morning while visiting Sebago Lake. They had a new item on their menu: Lobster Eggs Benedict and I'm here to tell ya, it was FABULOUSLY DELICIOUS. Two poached eggs (cooked to perfection) on English muffins, covered with lots of lobster meat and topped with yummy, creamy, buttery hollandaise sauce, served with home fries. TO DIE FOR! The service was friendly, quick and our waitress was very personable, helpful and attentive without being over-bearing. Great place, at least for breakfast!

Went here with my friend from New York after several hours of snow tubing at Seacoast Fun Park. It was one of the only places open to eat at the end of December, and it was hard enough finding a place to eat that wasn't a fast-food chain or otherwise up in the Windham area. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries, and my goodness, I was very impressed! It reminded me of my days working at another cafe in North Yarmouth. The food was great, the service was even better, and I've been wanting to go back for several months now but just haven't gotten around to it. It was my first cheeseburger since July 4th and I'd definitely recommend it! Absolutely delicious. The iced tea was so-so, but otherwise very pleased with this little hole-in-the-wall. Get the fries, they are delicious!

I have eaten at Danielle's four to five times over the years. I look forward to eating there when we go visit the kids at camp in the area. I am also writing this because Danielle's deserves more than one star. The coffee is good, the service is fast, the eggs are decent, the homefries good, and the prices and servings are inversely related. And although I am normally an egg guy (they know how to poach an egg quite well) I did have pancakes last year: pretty good.
