Great spot! The food was ridiculously fast, and quite tasty. Just what I was looking for. A classic old-school diner vibe with some nice Maine memorabilia and photos spread throughout. No frills, affordable, and delicious. I'll be coming back again when I'm in the area.

went to rangeley camping for a few days. before heading home we stopped at bmc diner for breakfast. the staff was friendly and our order was ready really quick, three minutes at the most. food was good. yes i would go back.

If I could give this restaurant no stars at all, I would do it in a heartbeat. This was the worst diner I have ever been to in my life. I have never walked out of a restaurant without paying, but the food was that bad. I told the waitress we couldn't eat the food and we were told we were all set, so we left. I ordered homefries and a cinnamon bun. The potatoes were hard and there was so much spice on it that it left the taste on your tongue. The big cinnamon bun was big, but it was cold and hard. My friend ordered the french toast and had coffee. The coffee was way too strong for her and the french toast was bland. It was also made with regular bread and not thick bread, so that made it less appealing too. The waitress was not friendly at all and she was the only one in the entire place. This place was packed too! The weather was hot that day and there was no a/c on in that restaurant.

really, really wanted to love this place based on the reviews. The food is excellent but I have to deduct for poor service. There was only one waitress for the whole diner ( she said their had been a festival in town the day before) So they couldn't hire additional staff?? Our breakfast though excellent took way too long to come and you definitely felt like they wanted you to leave as soon as you were done... Not sure I would go back...

Was up in Rangeley this weekend and picked up a half dozen of the sticky buns from the BMC diner. Not only were the warm out of the oven, but they are HEFTY. I got 6 for 10 people. We couldn't eat them all. They are sticky, they are sweet and they are substantial (additionally, they are inexpensive). I took them back to the cabin, and was lauded as a hero ! Enjoy
