Never getting an iced tea here again. Seems it's made with a tea concentrate and water--it was kind of busy in there but the girl who made my drink didn't even seem to look how much tea she added, so I have 3 dollar drink that is mostly water.

Good location to study, typical Starbucks in consistency and coffee quality. They have gone an extraordinary way into assuring consistent food and coffee between locations! Friendly baristas, relatively quiet and my super crazy traffic to study at. I just wish that it was open a but earlier so I could go when I'm on my way to work! Yes I work that early and sometimes I head out late enough but nothing quite 100% ready so it delays me.

The worst Starbucks I have ever been to in my life. I am an avid Starbucks fan and have lived in Portland for 2 years. I have found overall that most of the Starbucks in Maine do not have the service that I'm use to at a Starbucks. I have been coming to this location though for about 4 mos as my new job is over on Forest. The staff is rude, it takes a really long time to get drinks and mostly they are wrong. The thing that shocks me the most though is for Starbucks the quality of the store is really dirty and again the barista's are awful.

If it wasn't for this Starbucks, I never would've gotten my gold card! It's just a few blocks from UNE and is open both earlier and later than a few other Starbucks in the area. On most days, they are open from 5am - 10pm; perfect for crazy early study sessions and late night espresso to keep me going. As some others mentioned, the seating area is nice and open. It's a great space to catch up with friends or just sit and enjoy a newspaper or book. The baristas have all been great and you can tell they enjoy working there! Despite a pretty small parking lot, there is a drive thru and street parking if it's actually packed for some reason. Basically, they've been there to keep me awake when I need it most; and they're great about coupons! :) Only -1 star for the wifi being down the other day. :(

This week at happy hour, they have been failing. Each visit, I've asked for no whip, yet they still make it with whip. I even asked the cashier to write a big fat NO whip on the cup, but still fail. I understand you're making lots of fraps this week, but hey an order is an order. Get it right, please. Barista even asked if they can just scoop out the whip, or if they have to make a new one. Well, that's your bad. What if I'm lactose? Luckily I'm not. But still, just make a new one n throw me a freebie. Another reason I wouldn't frequent as a regular customer. They might get my order wrong again!

This is my main Starbucks stop. The parking is a bit of a nightmare, but I appreciate the drive through. Seems to have been a lot of staff changes lately, but service is generally fast and friendly.

This place is just yet another Great Starbucks! With nice waitresses and cool decorations. This is one of those places to go to! Before you enter the area. You see the elegant exterior ideas! All of which were marvelous! Like a curved arch! And a painting in the interior! And in the area. There is perfect flora clashing with great a service! With nice wallpaper and nice staff it is a pro place! Plus. There is lots of seating! Even outside! My only complaint is that the food doesn't exactly taste great. I mean. It tastes good. Just not exactly as fulfilling. Overall. This is a great Starbucks! If you want a good place to dine on!

My experience here varies; it really depends who is working here on the day you go. Some workers are GREAT! And others are just ok. But let's be honest. Not to diss Starbucks, but you're in Portland, Maine. There's tons of local coffee shops that trump this national chain. I recommend going elsewhere in this great city for your coffee needs. Tip: Ask for light ice for your iced drinks to get more bang for your buck

Sometimes when I crave a starbucks beverage that I use to prepare for myself (I was a starbucks barista) I will go to this store. It really perplexes me that they don't follow some of the standard rules starbucks baristas are suppose to follow. For example steaming the milk correctly.....you should be holding the pitcher the while time you are steaming yet I have seen them all the time leaving the pitcher on the grate and walking away When I tell them my lengthy order they use odd marking on the cup but that's just me. They always give me a look when I get so specific with my order, I tell them I was an ex barista for starbucks and they still look displeased......like don't you customize your own beverages? These baristas would not last a min in nyc where I worked. They would be yelled at all their time at all their mistakes.

I've been to this Starbucks a handful of times now and each time one of the employees is rude to me in one way or another. The tall older woman with curly blonde hair never fails to deliver at least one rude line. It always amazes me how outwardly rude she can be and doesn't seem to be embarrassed by it at all.

Pros: -consistent food and drinks -very clean -baristas are friendly and helpful every time I've visited (from 5am to 10pm) -great location -great rewards program Cons: -runs out of seasonal items fast because its a busy Starbucks location -coffee is a little weaker than I'm used to -the rewards system changed so my add-ons (syrups, soy-milk, etc.) are no longer "free" The biggest pro for me is the location. The other main reason I choose Starbucks is their rewards program that gives discounts on drinks and lets me indulge in enough shots of espresso in my latte to make you think I'm having a seizure after every 12 purchases. They even remember my birthday! I really like this location though. The indoor seating is comfortable for studying and they don't make you feel uncomfortable if stay for half a day. They have bathrooms that are clean, which is always a plus. The lighting is bright enough unlike some places I've been where I feel like I need a flashlight at the table. They also have a box full of games such as a book of brain teasers and possibly checkers? that you can play while there. There's two comfy chairs in a nook. They have a big table that can accommodate a group of 6 and bar seating along the wall if you feel like people watching while staying warm. They also have an outdoor area with tables and chairs. Sadly, this area is empty now because of the weather. My friend and I have this idyllic image of fall. Sitting in a comfy chair and enjoying a novel while sipping on a nice hot beverage. I've found the chair and beverage. Now I just need to find the time and a great novel to read.

This Starbucks was different than any other one I have been to. I know, I know what you are thinking. How can one chain coffee shop be any different than another? Well, hear me out. It is incredibly clean and they have a very open seating area (read lots of space). Also, their food is incredibly fresh unlike the disgusting overbaked, left out pastries at see at other starbucks and the bathrooms are clean.
