Very unatatentive wait staff, server seemed lost, no dipping sauce offered for the kids meals (Costs extra for ranch dressing for my daughter's carrot sticks) nachos had little to no toppings on them, my son wanted boneless wings received chicken tenders instead, they cluster everyone into select tables and crowd us all together with many open tables around us and the topper my 1 year old had to sit in a broken high chair. I have had better experiences at burger King than this place very disappointed, get it together or lose a customer! FYI not my first time here but probably my last!

People on yelp don't seem too thrilled about this restaurant, but if you keep your expectations in check, I enjoy it. This is not Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY. The wings won't be the best of your life. The food is on the level of an Applebees. For a chain though, it's perfectly fine. The reason to come here is for the atmosphere on game days. For football especially there are TVs that take up an entire wall of the restaurant, surrounded by dozens of smaller (think 50"-60") tvs. The place is simply rocking on football Sundays and the energy is electric. The enormous selection of cheap beer doesn't hurt either, and the service is usually great. Combined with easy parking, I often choose Wild Wings over the downtown sports bars.

First time here tonight and I'm super impressed. We had the big juicy burger with parm peppercorn sauce and onion rings. The ring sauce was so good, and the burger - omg.... Will Definitely come back again!

It took 40 minutes to get our food and all the manager could say is "we are working on getting it out"

Incredible waitress! Yummy boneless garlic parm wings and hot wings! Special on Tuesday nights for wings and Live Trivia Night! Our table won a beach chair and four Sea Dog tickets for 1st prize! Fun place with great music and a friendly staff!

Food is generally hit or miss. Since this is a franchise store, they do not honor all of the corporate specials and promotions. Most recently I called to inqure the cost of the bottomless bonless lunch advertised on the corporate website, but was told that it wasn't avaliabe at this location. Wings are large and served hot. Wings are usually not served with enough sauce for my taste, even when I request them with extra. Getting extra to supplement the error usually coasts a half dollar or so. Since B-Dubs's wings are kind of over priced, I usually go on Tuesday for the $0.60 wings or Thursday for the $0.60 bonless wings. Specials are for eat in or carry out. Normal prices are kind of steep. They have pretty decent lunch specials as well. Place has a full bar, is sports bar themed (lots of TVs), and has a huge variety of sauces and seasonings. One of their employees (Wes) is FANTASTIC!!! He was highly professional and left my wife and I very pleased. He worked with us to make sure our order was perfect...made my night!

Poor customer service. More of a social gathering for the waiters than it is a service for the customer. Poor quality food, most things there are over-cooked.

Was there to see an Iowa basketball game. Sat in the bar, and after the Bruins game was over they put the Iowa game on the big projectors for me and put the audio over the speakers. That was awesome. And it was wing night, which was good!

This is my second time at this particular location. The first time, the experience was absolutely horrible. It was so bad that we insisted on never going back again. However, this time we were given a gift card, so we decided to try again. First off, the server was sub-par. I understand the crowd is usually drunk, loud men. However, that is no excuse for poor service for a family dinner. We were given our appetizers, but no plates. We asked for plates for wings and you would have thought we asked for calamari. The waiter looked confused and hesitated to given us any. Eventually, we were handed paper "boats." The food finally came and it was a glorified McDonalds. Honestly, you could have served me the same fries at McDonalds and I wouldn't have known the difference. I got the chicken burrito/tacos. There were about five small pieces of chicken in each one, and the toppings were bland and flavorless. The manager of the place walked around, asking if we needed anything. However, he didn't crack a smile. I would not want to work under that management. The entire meal, the server just looked confused and felt scattered. The food was also expensive! For $50 for a family of three, we should all leave a place full. We didn't. Instead, we were left with a bad taste in our mouths.

We like our wings extra crispy & naked with our sauces on the side. Buffalo Wild Wings never has disappointed us. Going at peak times you need to like noise. We try to go before the crowds arrive. This is what happens when you get older (60's+)

Very slow. Took 10 minutes for waitress to get to us. Asked for a Stella got a Stella Cider instead. Took 10 more minutes to bring me a new one and another 10 before we get our wings. 30 minutes? Am I being unreasonable?

Buffalo Wild Wings have the smallest wings I have ever seen. Way over priced. And they nickle and dime you for every piece of celery and ranch sauce you order. The place is so loud you have to shout to have a conversation. If you want big great meaty wings at a reasonable price and better beer pricing go around the corner to Thatchers.

SLOW!! Food is under " just OK. " I probably won't be back unless I'm in town and there's a good game on. Maybe. I hate broken wings and I got 3 out of 12. Horrible service. I travel a lot for work and visit different Buffalo Wild Wings and this is the worst one. The waitress did make eye contact every time though, probably looking for a good tip.

Great service and food. We ordered bone in wings, they brought boneless and said cooked by mistake but our regular order would be out shortly. Very apologetic. They also took $20 off total bill. Regional mgr excellent as a representative of Buffalo Wild Wings. On top of all this, best wings I have had in Maine.

What can i say about the South Portland Buffalo Wild Wings? It is a major chain restaurant that has a vision and a theme of placing upmteen televisions and large screens on the walls for all to look at and even at times become over stimulated with sports of all sorts and trivia games. It is a major chain that has a lot of cold beers on tap and many different flavors and varieties of wings. Both bone-in and boneless are on the menu for the picking. It is a major chain that people flock to mostly because of the name and national fame to the sports fan that not only wants to watch sports but have some commotion go for the little ones in the family. Now, with that being said, this "Bdubs" meets those expectations. The energy that came with the grand opening a while back here in South Portland came of no surprise and the amount of Bdubs fans flocking to return to it also comes as no surprise. The service has been really really good at times where they are attentive and very knoweledgable and very personable and other times I have been here and it was like pulling teeth to get two words out of our waitress. So consistency here would be a much better recipe for success for this location specifically. The food, if you are a wing connoisseur like myself, these bone-in wings really are not the greatest in the world. I know of many other places around Portland that are not labeled a "sports and wing" bar but are superb with the care and detail that comes with wings and beer. But, with that being said, something seems to be working for the chain. People love it and flock back through the doors for them. If you are looking for an energetic place to go on game day that has cold beer, good crowds and wings galore, then try this place out. You should leave rather satisfied. If I was to pick flavors that suit my needs the best and tickle my fancy, I would go with the Azian Zing sauce, The Carribean Jerk or the VERY SPICY BLAZIN' sauce.

If you are in the Portland area don't waste your time going to Buffalo Wild Wings. If you want wings go to The Great Lost Bear it isn't that far the service is just as downtrodden and helpless as here but the wings are far better. I am a little biased because I automatically hate chains but this place is close to work and I can't stomach the cafeteria everyday. The walls are crawling with every kind of sporting event you can imagine from cheese rolling to extreme ironing, not really my thing but at least it can distract you from a dry conversation. The beer selection wasn't bad (though Great Lost Bear has way more). The food is glorified fast food the only difference is you have a waitress. Waitress wasn't bad though she forgot to give me my debit card back in the little bill portfolio. I went north that night and didn't realize it was missing until I had ordered a round of beers with no way to pay for them. Wasn't impressed with that. What more can I say, if I find myself in a buffalo wild wings again I'll probably be a morbidly obese double divorcee and I can finally drink myself into that coma I've been shooting for.

We actually give this place zero stars with a great big caution flag. (The only way I could post was by giving at least one star.) Brother went last week with a group of friends and found a small white worm on his chicken wings. Called server over and she saw it. She took the plate - and worm - over to the manager. The manager came to the table and said it wasn't a worm. Well, we are not entomologists but it sure looked like a worm! And whatever it was it was wriggling around on the food. Anyway, he wasn't too concerned but he did comp brother's meal. Needless to say no one could eat at that point so everyone left. Not sure what was more distasteful - the worm or the manager's handling of the situation.

Bingas, I'm sorry I cheated on you today. Never again! Went to Buffalo Wild Wings today because The burger place next door was packed, and sadly, I was left far from impressed. I ordered the buffalo ranch chicken wrap and it was nearly inedible. I've never had something so salty in my life, and the "mild" buffalo sauce was awful. There was no ranch to be found, and the tomato tidbits were few and far between, but there was plenty of lettuce. My boyfriend ordered a burger, which he said was ok. Except for they forgot two of the toppings he asked for. And the fries were average. Overall, very average. Probably wouldn't be back since Bingas is closer and has way better everything.

This place is good if you know what to expect. It is loud and all frozen food. The wings are frozen then heated up and "spun" in sauce... The sauce is what makes the wings good. The managers can often be seen yelling and sexually harassing the employees. Not the best thing to watch during a family outing. Save your money and go to Bingas.

We usually wouldn't rank or comment on a chain but our experience was so awful, I couldn't not comment. To be sure, we had little if any at all expectations but to watch the UFC fights. Simply put--DO NOT COME HERE. the food was absolutely horrible. Our "nachos" had virtually no cheese and a wee bit of salad bar on the top chips. We asked for more cheese and they charged us for the 1/4 cup of jar cheese they brought us. Yet when they brought pretzels and we asked for yellow mustard, we got cheese dip?!? The service was friendly but not attentive. I hope we find a better place to watch the fights because i have no desire to come back here

Love this place! We don't have one in RI yet (coming January 2014), so I checked out the one in Portland since I was visiting, and I loved it! Vast selection of wing flavors, where you can get wings traditional or boneless. Great selection of beers, as well as additional menu items

Good service and staff and solid food for a chain, can be a little noisy at times but we love heading back even on nights when there isn't a game on.

My BF is from the South where Buffalo Wild Wings are everywhere so he was super excited when one opened up in South Portland. We went the week it opened, which happened to coincide with the Final Four, which made him even happier. He warned me that it would be loud and packed with drunk basketball fans, so I did some mental preparations and in we went.... to find the place almost empty. The BF was very disappointed. He said the atmosphere of BWW is what makes it so much fun and this one lacks all the "fun" elements. It was "way too bright and much too large and open." Atmosphere aside, the food was average. I was really excited to try their wings but was not impressed. They were tiny and pretty overpriced. I'll stick to getting my wings fix from Bingas!

Stopped in here for a quick dinner. It is exactly what you would expect from a wing place. The options are many from dry and wet spices for your wings. The wings are plump and juicy, the fried pickles were crispy and tasty, the mushroom appetizer was good. We were there around 5 so pretty early for dinner and the place was mostly empty. I split a salad and a small wing order with someone and it was a ton of food. The salad was filled with fresh ingredients. We had a gluten free requirement and they accommodated that well. Although they don't have a GF menu, they bring you the nutritional 3 ring binder info, which is kind of annoying. The waitress was very attentive supplying enough water, napkins, plates to share etc. There are plenty of TV's in every corner of the restaurant.

Although not a fan of chain type places - and less of sports bar establishments - we stopped in here with our 5 year old for lunch. The place is massive - I can't believe it's ever filled. Lots of TV's, and basically clean. We started off with the soft pretzels with honey mustard dipping sauce, mostly for our son. The pretzels were nice and soft, and it was a large appetizer - three decent sized pretzels. I had the boneless tender salad, coated in their medium sauce. The chicken was crisp and pretty darn tasty, and the lettuce was ok, although it could have been crisper. The fat free ranch dressing was full of flavor, and went nicely with the chicken chunks. Overall, a decent boneless wing salad; not the best, but tasty and simple. My wife had the boneless wings meal (8 pieces is the smallest order). These were like mcnugget size, with the sauce cooked in. I prefer them "wet," but my wife thought they were flavorful, and enjoyed the medium sauce as-is. Again, nothing to write home about, but a tasty, inexpensive lunch if you get that wing craving. A three star place.

Mediocre service tonight. Waiter did not know anything about their beer selection. I asked what he has for Stouts and he had no clue, recommended a Blue Moon!

Very Loud place. The wings are good. There are so many flavor choices. Lots of tvs for sports. It's a chain and acts that wau but as chains go, not half bad

I like how this place is open late compared to every other place in Maine. The wings are good but small and pricey. Berry lemonade is weird, get the mango lemonade. One thing that bothered me was that there is seating right next to the bathrooms. So I was angled where I could see men walking in and out of the bathroom. Yea, I'd change that..

Overall, a very bad experience here - one that will likely keep me from ever stepping foot in a BWW ever again. Start-to-finish, the experience was sub-par from the food to the service. I know you can operate a successful chain (even one of sports bars/pub food) without resorting to pre-packaged, frozen menu items. However, this chain does not seem to take the culinary high-road, as nearly every item we sampled tasted like it came out of the freezer and went into the fryer. We got an order of 24 boneless wings, which came with up to four different sauces. The boneless wings were roughly the size of McDonalds McNuggets, but had a thick batter-layer which left very little meat inside. Out the four flavors we tried, only one pleased the group. The mango habanero lacked any depth or complexity, but instead went with the cheap-shot of a taste bud burn that left the mouth tingly and uncomfortable. The honey BBQ was sticky-sweet, the salt&vinegar (not a sauce but a seasoning) seemed interesting on paper but lacked any hint of vinegar in execution. The Parmesan garlic sauce was a crowd pleaser, but when applied to the aforementioned poorly-executed batter nuggets, did nothing more than make me mourn for what could have been here. We also ordered a basket of fries ($5 or so) to share, and though they were supposed to have the same salt-and-vinegar flavoring as the wings we ordered, they, too, tasted only of salty fries. These were the highlight of the meal, as they were basically McDonalds-like fries with a bit of potato skin left on. However, if you're coming here for the fries, save $2.50 and hit the McD's drive through window for the same sort of French fries and the same serving-size. The $6.99 basket of onion rings proved to be the single biggest let-down of the evening. Buyer beware - for $7, you get roughly a dozen (I think i'm being generous) onion rings that, like the other items on this menu, seem to have been over-battered and frozen, only to be pulled from their chilly sleep and dipped into a vat of oil. The grease paired with the thick batter resulted in rings that had no onion taste whatsoever - had I not seen the translucent layer of onion inside the ring, I could have been convinced I was eating any number of deep-fried items. The one upside to the food was that my side-salad (though only lettuce, tomato, and onion with some croutons), for $2.99, was a generous serving size and came with mixed greens rather than romaine or iceberg. The service was nearly equally abysmal, as our server operated with a level of impatience that one would expect from a crowded, busy dining-room. The opposite was the case - on this Sunday evening at 9:00pm, the dining room was nearly empty, so the rush felt from the server was completely unwarranted. My boyfriend and I came in, sat down, and proceeded to order some beers. The server asked for our IDs, made some crack about not really looking at them anyway, but he just needed to ask as a formality, and then brought us our drinks. My boyfriend then went to the restroom, and the server took that opportunity to come over and ask me what we'd like to order. I informed him that because my boyfriend was in the restroom AND we were waiting for a third member of our party, we'd wait to order until everyone was present. Ignoring this, he came by 4 more times (at 5-minute intervals) to try to get a food order out of us before our third member showed up. Finally, we got frustrated and just ordered for everyone, despite asking him every single time he came by to please not come by again until our 3rd member had arrived. Because the dining room was empty, I did not understand the rush. Subsequent to ordering, everything that the server dropped off at our table (plates, napkins, the check, the credit card receipt, etc) was tossed onto the table hastily and agressively rather than placed down gently. Credit cards were tossed flippantly on the table, plates clanged and shook as they were dropped loudly and clumsily around us. Overall, the server's pushy, rushed attitude and penchant for rudely dropping items on our table, paired with the low-quality of the food served made for a very poor evening for my group. We will not be back.

I was excited to try this place particularly given my addition to buffalo wings. Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed. First all the seats in the place are hard wooden seats. Not comfortable and actually it was a relief to leave. Ordered a dozen wings with the medium sauce. Normally I get hot but I was thinking that given the motif that heat would be a bit higher than the run of the mill pub style buffalo wings. The wings were tasty but a bit bland. If I go back I will definitely get the hot ones if not the wild ones. The service was good enough very polite but a little slow in spite of the fax that the restaurant was nearly empty. One more thing. I attempted to log in to their wireless using and I touch. To use it you have to register using an application that is impossible to use on the small screen even zooming in. Never got online.

Cavernous sports establishment with a lot of TV's and noise. Beer is cold and good varieties and specials. Food was so-so but sfter enough beers it starts to taste better. Your games on here.

Good menu, great staff and great energy. The food is good with a good beer list, outstanding wing/rib recipe. A little loud, but I can live with that. A good place for beer, wings, ribs, burgers or just a salad.

The food was pretty good Good selection of wings and sauces. The salt and vinegar fries were very tasty. Services was good and the beer was cold. BUT, major BUT here, the place is SO loud I had to holler at my dinner partner. Turn the music down!! way too loud. I would return for the food, but the noise makes the dining experience was enough to keep me away.
